Quiet clean site with good toilet and shower block with helpful staff.Pub 100 yards away and Southbourne village only a few hundred yards away.Excellent footpath almost opposite site that takes you to the beautiful scenic Thorney point and yacht station.Brilliant 700 bus service that takes you either to Bognor Regis and beyond (eastwards) or to Portsmouth with its historic dockyards.(westwards) Do make a point of walking around Emsworth with its glorious inlets

A great weekend spent on this compact site, staff were super friendly and made adjustments to their plans to site us towards the back of the site and next our parents (joining us the day after). Had several long training runs around the estuary (AONB) and lunch in the pub next to the site. Being a small site there isn't any room for children's play facilities and the building of a new housing estate on 2 sides of the site (we were notified on booking and via the club update) has an impact on its 'family friendliness'.

Small but lovely site. Quite a walk across wet grass to loos at night and morning. Strange to have seperate showers from loos but exceptionally well kept facilities. Wonderful bus service, even on Sundays.

Small site with great staff, I was advise that the only pitch was one backing on to the road and was warned about road noise. Well i have to say that the road noise was not a problem at all. Pitch size was fantastic No57 middle backing to road. The toilets and shower are spotless. The water points all around the central reception area. Both Di & janet and the older couple warden that live on site are fantastic. Nice site handy shop close by and a pub next door never visit pub, But i did here is was very good from my neighbours from 23.00 till 01.00 waking me and keeping me awake for over an hour.

Good position for a camping site, staff are friendly and helpful and facilities are clean although a bit out dated, it's a pity it's now over looked by housing. As a member of the club it's a bit over priced in peak season for what you get.

Site is very clean and tidy, but cramped. Although children and dogs are allowed, it's not a very enjoyable place for them as it's so cramped. There is nowhere for Children to play, no ball games allowed etc. Nowhere for your dog to have a quick wee before bed/first thing in the morning as you have to walk your dog off site, which means crossing a very busy, fast road, which is not much fun with a child and dog, and when you get there, it is just a small narrow, overgrown track full of dog poo and stingy nettles. The staff are pretty strict, but they go too far with it and make you feel like you dare not enjoy yourself for risk of being told off! If you want somewhere quiet, to just sit inside your caravan with no signs of life around you, this place would be fine. If you want somewhere you can relax, let your kids play and enjoy the out doors (respectfully obviously), I wouldn't recommend it!

Perfectly situated site to visit Chichester, Portsmouthand Southsea and the surrounding area. Facilities ultra clean and staff so accommodating: Thankyou Tricia for accommodating us an extra night at such short notice. Rail links and buses all within walking distance, with local food stores nearby. Not to mention a great pub with excellent food. Look forward to visiting again.

Popular compact site close to pub with food. Estuary walks close. Very clean facilities, but no motorhome point so if outlet is low a portable tank/washing bowl or waste pump is needed. Bus stop close and local farm shop. Gets fully booked regularly. No play areas for children. Discounts for club members.

Lovely people, really very helpful but far too expensive. Priced us out of being able to afford to camp and arguably more expensive than decent local B and Bs

Lovely lady at reception very unhelpful man on the site, watched us pitch our tent THEN came over and told us it was the wrong way round made us take it down and turn it around even though it was with in out pitch, very quiet boring site full of pensioners would not recommend for families nothing for children to do, no entertainment left 2 days early, although very clean and well maintained

Booked quite late and when I read the confirmation I realised I'd put caravan as 6m, not 6.5. Confirmation says it's very important to be accurate so I rang to check and staff were very helpful. Got to site a bit early (1300) is when you can booking, but staff let us on to park up in the waiting loop and welcomed us to use the facilities. We had a choice of 3 pitches and was offered help if needed. No play area for kids but my son and I just used the site as a base. Brilliant showers and toilets facilities. Construction site is a little intrusive during weekdays but no issue at the weekend. I'd read some of the feedback which was alittle negative but had no issues or experience of anything concerning. Really helpful, friendly site and we'd use it again.

Another CCC site. Friendly staff, well maintained. Pitches reasonably level. Pitch we had in the bottom left corner breaks the 6M rule. Things to note is only one water point in the main camp area (another on back main toilet block), only 2 pot wash sinks but were never busy. Really good pub next door which is a must.
