A level, peaceful location with lovely woodland walks nearby. Probably smaller than a football pitch and when busy you'll be quite close to your neighbours.

Small site but very peaceful, down side no showers or toilet - you need to be self sufficient

Very peaceful and private campsite, sheltered grassy pitches with plenty of space. Lots of good walking, great local community run shop/cafe and a good pub about 1.5 miles away.

We really like this site, it has no toilets or showers, so you have to have you own. Access is a little tricky up a gravelly uneven slope. I am not sure I would want to tow our caravan in again, which is a shame as the site is great.

Quiet well kept and lovely walks abound must have own toilet and shower facilities however. But has electric hookups. Friendly and helpful management team. My favourite site in this area

Peaceful site.Woodland walks from site.Made the mistake of taking electric pitch we ended up in sardine sandwich. Whist the pitches on the perimeter we empty ( you guessed it all the non electric ones). Because of the pitching will most likely not return

A nicely managed Camping and Caravan in club site with no facilities except electric hook up. Very level, sheltered by trees with fruit trees between the pitches. Go at the end of September and you can pick figs and apples for your dessert. A small selection of essentials are sold in the site office. Lots of walking around about in the National Trust run Slindon estate.

Wow and double wow, Slindon is amazing. Thanks to Mark and Patricia. This sleepy, calm and beautiful site is the perfect place for relaxation, walking, site seeing and most of all unwinding. Mark and Patricia are welcoming, friendly and helpful. A wonderful combination and we highly recommend a visit - we will be returning. Julie & Tony Gosling

We camped at Slidon for the weekend in July so we could visit Arundel Castle. Very friendly warden who gave us a choice of pitches when we arrived. We were the only tent there as everyone else was either a caravan or camper van, Almost certainly due to the lack of any facilities like toilets or showers. That said we had a portable toilet and managed just fine. Nice quiet site with spacious pitches and a warm welcome.

Basic but Beautiful campsite with very friendly management in the heart of Slindon Estate and the South Downs. No toilets, showers or washing up facilities on site: one needs to be self-contained, so it is ideal for motorhomes or caravans.

Lovely quiet site with good pitches and very helpful warden's. Would have given this a five star if the site location had been much clearer sign posted coming in for the first time.
