Very spacious. Massive selection of most things. Bigger than other Asdas i have been to. Has a McDonalds and a Thompson holiday shop.

A good place to shop. There are clothes, stationary, greetings cards and medicines etc alonside food. You can get freshly made pizzas and freshly cooked hot chicken etc. Open until 10pm. Gets quiter and easy to shop after about 8pm. Vary useful if you work late and need to shop 'out of hours'.
The only thing I would sometimes like is for the two for the price of one items being turned into one for half the price. So many people, for so many reasons, live alone and maybe don't want two cream cakes etc.

Cannot believe how you allow children & teenagers ride up and down the aisles on toy scooters. I am a pensioner & nearly got knocked over as could'nt move out of the way quick enough. What are the management doing for goodness sake ???

A massive place with so many things available and even has a small McDonalds in it. The site has free parking, petrol station and cash machine.
You can get everything here, food, drinks, films, household white goods, clothing of Primark kind of quality amongst other things.
Prices are reasonable but the thing that let's this place down is the clientele.
It's usually full of chavs shouting, swearing and being generally rude. Chav kids who do the same while being shouted at by their lazy chav parents.
Get rid of the chavs and this would be a great place to shop.

Called their customer service line to ask for a product. i didnt think they would have it so wanted to check before I drove down. Phone answered quickly and lady was initially very polite. I asked if they had a padlock with a longer loop than standard. She says i dont know. We sell locks but I don't know about that. Ok, coukd you look for me as its late and im 20 mins away. No I won't be doing that. Ok thanks for you help.

Asda in Spondon is a large superstore. However, it's extremely popular in the area (due to it being one of the only superstores around the area), meaning it gets very packed especially on a Saturday afternoon. Furthermore, parking is also a nightmare. Once you get in, you don't have much room to breathe, and you have to continuously move down the isles to prevent someone from becoming frustrated. The store offers offers several other businesses within it including a McDonald's Restaurant and an Optician's. However, you can hardly ever find the time to use these as the majority of customers are usually in a hurry. All in all, it's a decent way to get your weekly shopping down, but it can be a very stressful and tiring experience, when it doesn't really need to be.

Average prices, lots of tills so rarely queue (though I avoid weekends!). Customer service is always good and can get almost everything there! With dry cleaning, opticians, travel agents, McDonalds and key cutters all by the exit!
