We love this Sainsburys and hadn’t been in a long time due to moving out of the area. Staff remembered us and treated us like VIP’s.
The store has is nice and big offering many more products than the one at Kingsway and our local store.
Always nice and clean with plenty of parking.

Bought a meal deal, nothing exciting.
I must admit the range is incredibly limited compared to another leading supermarket beginning with a T. So I was a bit disappointed that the choice was poor.
The lady at the kiosk was very welcoming and pleasant.
I'm wondering if this is a Derbyshire thing. It's refreshing ????

Had to queue to get into what was basically an empty store, due to covid-19 requirements ( I assume). Some explanation would have been appreciated as this is the first store in a long while I have had to queue to enter. Otherwise a "standard Sainsbury shopping experience".

Queues into the supermarket were controlled and customers queuing were spaced 1m apart. The numbers in the store were limited by a member of staff. Sanitiser was available at the entrance and exit. New shields have been installed to protect those scanning their own shopping to ensure adequate distance between you and the person at the til next to you.

Great store with friendly staff. Has a very good range of loose fruit and vegetables allowing you to nearly shop plastic free for these items. However, it would be good if the potatoes were also loose and efforts were made to bring in bottle return schemes - why is this not done for milk?!?! Great efforts to reduce plastics in the bakery have been made for self-pick items but more could be done for in-store baked goods that are then sold in plastic containers or wraps. Overall, it's good to see things going on the right direction but much more needs to be done if the plastics crisis is to be effectively tackled.

Sainsbury's is my first choice for shopping, not because it's the most affordable, but because taking into consideration value, consistent quality, and choice, it's the best. I even get money back vouchers, so what's not to like? O yes, the staff are great too.
