I’ve been to Takamo for a few repairs now and they have managed to meet and exceed all expectations. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to. The staff there will always keep you updated on the progression of your repairs - which I find other garages lack. They will go over and beyond to ensure the repair jobs are carried out to a high quality. They specialise in an array of mechanic/repair jobs. Would definitely recommend!!

Probably the best garage I've been to in a long, long time. I was recommended by an AA technician and I'm so glad I asked. It's so hard to find reliable mechanics these days. I rarely recommend mechanics, but this is one I have no problem recommending. Excellent service. Tha I you!

Drive in MOT Test Centre Class 4 & 7. These testers won't stop it from passing. Within 55 minutes I was driving again with a smile. I really thought I won’t pass because I took it into my usual for a pre-check they mentioned I will need a lot of attention they were wrong, I was sitting in their waiting area watching my MOT Test being carried out professionally on a big TV screen and the result Pass. Thank goodness I spotted them as I was making way to my usual test centre today. My 40 pounds Spent Well. Genuine & Honest Good Team.

This is a good place to use. Shaheem the lady at reception has been there many years and knows the place inside out. Good, honest repairs, reasonably priced and a good job done by people who have been there a long time, in my opinion, that goes a long way with me. They have access to reasonably priced spare parts and it doesn't matter how old the car is, they have them. Most importantly, even with major stuff, I have taken my car in to be repaired and it is fixed by the end of the day. Sadik is a friendly guy who gave me advice on a few things and doesn't pile the pressure on to get it fixed, its your choice. He did remind me on my last visit "I told you about that problem the last time you were here", and yes he did, I should have took his advice. Over the years, they have done a few repairs for me. I'm very fussy when it comes to garages and this is, in my opinion, the best in Bethnal Green. They also do MOTs now.

Expensive car service
For the first time I had to pay for Servesing parts one DAY BEFORE ???? (now if you want to cancel the booking there is no chance). I visited this garage for two reasons. 1. Near my house. 2. Saw good reviews but it didn’t help. You can do better service for cheaper price in well known big brands. Learned my lesson after spending the money. Customer service 2*. Service pricing 1*. Mechanic knowledge 5*

Have been using this garage for a few years now and have been happy with the service and work every single time. Their mechanics are first class and are always happy to explain issues. Took my Mercedes c250 in there for some body work (scratches and nasty dent) and breaks changed. Dropped it off on weds and was told it would be ready by Saturday but ended up being ready a day early! (photos are of the damage) after getting it back you would never know it was previously damaged.

Avoid at all costs garage is to overpriced and they seem to think there cut above the rest. Too quick to compare local companies. They will never go that extra mile, no customer service. Bodywork repair that was quoted £350-400 I was told is £600+plus if takamo does it. I then negotiated the price to 450 as I needed the work done ASAP. They carried out the work pretty quickly but when I called to ask progress the mechanic mentions the paint colors may not match and the reason was I didn't pay the £600, so he will only do what he can for the £450 he quoted. I was very dissapointed as I thought he will do the same job as the other garages to get back to a good standard. Very misleading. No blending of paintwork, no tightening of panels. Rude staff when asked the young Asian lad about discussing price of repairs was told "why you telling me" no customer service at all.

I have rarely had to do body work on my car and was desperate to find somewhere good and trustworthy in London. Abdul from Yellow Tyre company next door gave me this recommendation and I will be forever grateful.
Siddique explained everything to me in detail as well as telling me what I should do or shouldn't in terms of repairs. He was honest and straightforward which I liked alot. He also took me through the process my car will go through to get it back to its normal shape.
I had a tight deadline to get the car back and he delivered on his promise, I got the car back literally 2days later.
The work that was done was flawless, I couldn't see where the previous damage was and my car was restored to its former new state.
I am from up north so it's hard for me to find genuine, trustworthy workmanship as I do when I'm home but I can truly say that I would recommend Takamo to anyone. It's good to know someone cares about your car and the work they do. The lady that runs the front of the clinic is also super efficient and great to converse with.

Amazing - I had a massive problem with my car. The customer service was personal and very honest. The repair wasn't easy but the garage persisted and even at their own expense went over and beyond the call of duty. They were so particular about getting the car perfect, they kept it another day to fine tune and fully service it. Honesty and trust is rare in this industry. Highly recommended, and I drive from the other side of London to use them.

The team at Takamo has done a fabulous job on our Subaru Impreza! It had a massive dent on both left doors and scratches all over both bumpers, it is looking brand new now! Excellent body work repair and very fair prices, highly recommended!

Theives, over charged me way too much on a job I know shouldn't have cost that much, charged me £600 for a £100 job just because I had broken down and had no where else to go they took advantage of that and knew I couldn't go anywhere else. Not recommended at all to go to them, they will over charge you like crazy, and they didn't even solve the problem fully!!
