Great, friendly and helpful staff. Often when buyers pick up Saturdays and or Sundays, they find their items won’t fit in their vehicles, and need someone with a truck. If you wanted to make a few extra dollars, I know many would appreciate it if you’re available to help customers now and then. Maybe call EJ’s and see if they can post your contact information.

Bought some ammunition. Each lot bought separately. When picked up 5 of the lots ( all different types of ammo) were just dumped in a box. See picture. One of the lots were packed correctly. No respect for the items sold. Unbelievable

They often have some great auctions, but they have an outdated pickup system. If you prepay, you still have to wait in a long line to check in. I have stood in line for 30 minutes before. My biggest problem with them though is that at the peak of the pandemic, the staff didn’t wear masks. I felt this was completely disrespectful to their customers.

Got a good price on a Lionel Set in a recent auction, but their shipper charged over $60 to ship 10 lbs in the same zone. 2-day USPS priority was about $26, so they added $34 for labor, packing and a box. Other auction houses are much lower. EJ's needs to choose their shipping contractor better.

CUSTOMER SERVICE was incredibly AWFUL. COVID-19 safeguards were NON-existent. Very disappointed as I was beginning to like using their services as both Buyer and Seller. Prepaid my buyer's auction and with receipt in hand, was expecting to quickly pick up 20+ items and leave. Rather, I was told to wait at the end an extremely long line of 35-40 people to obtain a 2nd receipt. Prior Sundays “Prepaids” were allowed to pick up their 2nd receipts expeditiously at a side window. My time is valuable. I walked out. I had a 40-minute drive for nothing. And, rear door person started collecting everyone’s driver license in order to use their loading carts. No COVID-19 protections in place. Dozens of people passing thru. I'd like my license sanitized before I'd ever touch it again. Owner should invest more time and money in his employees to improve quality and consistency of their customer service.

Three auctions going on at once - no time wasted. Autioneers professional, but have a sense of humor when needed. Able to preview the day before. Items on website well portrayed and described. Each week bribgs new treasures to be bed on. No smoking in the building. Positive experience.

Very interesting variety of items. It's worth a stop if you are in the area. Everything from tools to collectibles.

It's a wonderful auction house. Not like the auction nation garbage. This one is comprised of estates and full of nice authentic items that you can preview the day before . I wish I had discovered this place earlier. I have to get rid of all my furniture so I can buy some from them.

Have had several excellent bidding experiences here, highly recommend them for finding quality art and vintage goods. We've acquired several pieces of art through EJ's and each one has been accurately photographed and well represented.

EJS strives to offer great, quality products for their customers. They offer great customer service and I highly recommend them as I have been very satisfied with the items that I have been fortunate enough to win when bidding. EJS worked with me when a purchase had a hidden flaw that was not noticeable until taken home. They are wonderful and would not hesitate making purchases from them.

This place is awesome. I don't know how/where they find so many great items week after week! Been a customer for two years. Most of the people are very helpful and friendly. Only one person, Jackie, seems overworked and cranky every time we pick up our items from 1000/2000 auctions. Makes me feel like I don't want to buy from those sections. However, not going to let one person ruin it. Today, was worse. She said get your items checked off up front for 2000 auctions. She told me just don't stand there all day. I told her 2000 auctions used to be signed off at the counter. She said she's been there 10 years and it's never been that way. Her snottiness was inappropriate. More importantly that statement was not true. Two other people can verify that she's wrong. The takeaway, ignore Jackie's bad attitude and bid, bid, bid!

I think its importantant (for me) to call out the success Ive had as both a buyer and seller with EJ's auction. As a seller, Ive worked with Brad. He is the person (at Ejs) who helps me with my "stuff" His experience and work ethic are priceless. Ive never met such and unselfish knowlegable rep. While Brad cannot guarantee an amount you will receive, he definitely has a good eye and good handle on what will sell. Ive come to trust his judgement on "stuff" I had to get rid of. As a result, i have made literally thousands overall. You might have something that you would normally give to Goodwill, and end up getting $500! Again, there's never a guarantee, but i will ALWAYS work with the "WORKAHOLIC" Brad any day of the week

I was a 1st time buyer from EJ's Auctions and used their recommended shipper, Pak Mail. They picked up 2 framed posters and 3 unframed ones, wrapped 2 in a box and 3 in a shipping tube and shipped Fedex ground. The cost was $287!!! I ship posters several time a week-some framed, some not. A local shipper boxes the framed ones. Last week I sent out 2 large framed ones via Fedex ground--cost $93, which included packing and everything. My posters were larger and weighed more. EJ's part of the process was good enough, though they failed to show that I paid and have them picked up on time. I really think they would do more internet business if they would ship in-house for a lower cost than Pak Mail. So even though Pak Mail did an EXCELLENT job of packing and shipping, their high cost will prevent me from using them again or from buying from EJ's.

Very fast to take your things but not to pay you. When I called (twice) they told me my checks are mailed and I should have it soon. They lied to me (twice). As of this time they still only issued one of two payments and it's not in the mail yet. TOTAL "BS". GO SOMEWHERE THAT WON'T LIE TO YOU

Love this Auction House. The one negative, standing in line to pay. Not enough help to check customers out. If you pay online, there will still be one item you have to pay for on Sunday, so what’s the point?

Worst Auction Company Ever. Paid for 2 Lots on the Oct 10th. Called to check on the shipping on Oct 23rd and they told me I had to pay additional charges. So now they have kept the items, kept the money, cusse me out and told me it was my problem not theirs and then hung up. Won’t answer calls when trying to call back. Don’t care what happens after EJ’s Auction & Appraisal receives your payment. NO ITEM, NO REFUND AND NO HELP AFTER 2 WEEKS. Beware!!!!!

I will give a fair review as I had a few really good experiences. I still feel that some may have good experiences however be cautious and look in advance at what you want to bid on with the zoom lens. I had one big problem and it was not handled well by Naomi Royer. There was a problem with bidding on a product. I bid and it would say I was out bid so I would raise my bid. I finally settled at $200 as my stopping point and it said I was out bid. You can't miss it. It is in Red above your bid. I was very shocked to find the next day that I won. Normally I would be excited however I was quite confused as it said I was out bid. This seemed shady like the bid was being driven up. How is it that it said I was out bid but I won? I emailed with my confusion and was upset. There was no effort to look into it at all or give an explanation about how that could happen. I asked to look at the bids but that doesn't really tell you anything. They did not offer to have their technical support look into it or anything to see if possibly there was a problem. There was really nothing else to do so I agreed to pay for it. I decided to go in and look at it in the blow up pictures since I was getting the product and upon looking closely it appeared the product was broken. The description said it was in Very Good Condition. I emailed asking if the product was broken. There was no response. At this point I am really upset. The bidding was wrong AND they misrepresented the product. When I was called about picking it up I told them I wanted it delivered. I finally got a response to my question about the product being broken and it was they thought I was picking it up??? They did not address the condition of the product. Now I had dealt with the problems with the bidding, problems with how they represented the product and they did not listen to how I wanted to receive the product. They told me shipping would reach out the next day, Thursday which is how it has been every other time. NOTHING - No call No email. I waited 2 days. I emailed saying shipping had not reached out. They had my $250. but were now not shipping it. It took me continuously reaching out for them to finally say they would refund my money and they have cancelled my account. All I wanted was for them to check into the problem with the bidding. Everything very well may go well but the moment there is any kind of problem I guarantee Naomi Hoyer will not take care of you. It really is too bad. I did complain to the BBB. I did get the refund. My hope is in the future if a customer has a concern or complaint that they would take it seriously and look into the problem to provide the customer a solution even if it isn't in the customers favor making an effort to find a solution is a better way. Looking at some of the other negative reviews this is the biggest area they can work on.

They have failed to pay me in full. Had stuff in an auction back in May 2020, waited the 30 days, check was short. Had about a dozen back and forth email confirming the short. Finally, I speak to Naomi and she says” If you feel that we aren’t honest you can go somewhere else” They still owe me a few hundred bucks. I have all data to back up this claim.

They do you NO Justice as a seller. they charge a lot and do no work for you what so ever. White gold rings marked as sterling in online auctions. Sterling ware marked as plated in online auctions. Diamond rings lumped in with sterling. Unweighed jewelry lots. Untested stones. Blurry pictures. And a pretty inscrouplous auctioneer.. the E. They squeak by as far as an auction goes. Ive never been pleasantly surprised by their work with ANY of my items as a seller, I've barely been impressed by thier efforts or knowledge.

Seller sent an invoice to tell me to pay on PayPal. I sent a payment right away, and never heard from seller. I then had a notice of nonpayment sent from Proxibid. I sent a copy of the payment that I sent on PayPal, left a voicemail for seller, and sent an email and I've never heard from them. Terrible Customer Service!!

My husband and I enjoy coming to this auction or watching it from home. We’ve made several purchases that we are very pleased with! The staff is so kind and energetic! We look forward to seeing what’s new every Wednesday when they open up all 3 rings to preview! If you haven’t been to an auction before then this is the place to go!

I called today to inquire about a pocket watch up for bidding on Jan 12th. I spoke with Samantha who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the item in question. She advised me she would send me the information that I required to make a better informed bid. She took my email address and in a very short period of time I had several excellent pictures that helped me to decide what my highest will be. Without her help I would have had to stop bidding on this particular item. Her help was invaluable to me and she should be rewarded for her timely efforts and efficiency. You have a valued employer for sure, Sincerely, Wesley Wilkins

Wonderful auction experience! You can do it all online and just pick up things that you've won the next Sunday. They always have a wide selection of things to bid on and you can do it live in real time on your computer. Check them out!

I love EJs. The owners are honest and ethical and their staff is super friendly. No funny stuff going on at this auction house. I have made so many awesome purchases here at the fraction of the cost that you would pay in a retail store. I have been coming here for about 3 years now and always have a good time. Great place to escape the heat and pick up some unusual pieces!

Love using Ej's auction. My husband and I enjoy watching the auction on Saturday mornings. We have placed many bids and have been extremely happy with our auction purchases. We have told our friends and family how easy it is and how much fun it can be. Even seeing what other people are interested in is cool. The employees are super friendly and helpful. I recommend you to try it out and have some fun on your Saturday.

I really enjoy going to this auction on the other hand you need to watch out for thieves. If there's any kind of loose items you have a lot of sticky fingers around. If you win a lot I advise you to pay for it and go stick it in your vehicle or you won't go home with the full lot. I have brought this to their attention a few times.

I am truly disappointed a company staff can be so rude and disrespectful to a customer. I don't give a damn whether she is the owner's wife. I made an "forgivable mistake" of daring to question her when I made an audit of my account with them and found that there were discrepancies between my payment and the invoice sent. So I figured there must be some invoices missing and not sent. Therefore it makes sense to go over there and ask for the missing invoices. I was told very rudely why I bothered to turn up at their place as apparently she told me I had something to complain every week. Three complains since Feb, one because I had called up because they had lost two of my items ( never got a reply back for that ) and the other two was because after payment at the auction, each time I get an email the next day telling me to come and pick up another item that they had missed the day before. It happened three times in succession. I live in North Cave Creek, so it is not exactly next door and if I am busy that day and arrive the following day I will be charged $10 per lot for late fees through no fault of mine. So I guess I am being a nuisance for complaining. I didn't realize I was dealing with a commie company where you have no right to complain if anything goes wrong. It is not difficult to be civilized with your customers and look on their point of view as well. Apart from Miss High and Mighty, the other staff are wonderful, especially Terry and Angel who are very patient and polite. We have resolved our differences and I appreciate that a lot. I am back at the auctions again as I do enjoy the bargains and wonderful atmosphere.

Nah, we much prefer Brunks Auction in Sun City. EJ's was far too loud and busy, too much going on all at the same time. Far too large, not personal and interactive like Brunks. Items are pictured up on the digital screen. $100 bidder fee is too steep (Brunk's is $50). Cashier who issues the number and finalizes your purchases acts like they don't care if you're there or not. Totally cold and impersonal experience here. I won't return.
