Due to covid, you have to queue outside but the wait was worth it. Friendly service, good knowledge of products and the gentleman did not try to sell and get rid of me. He listened to my needs and made different suggestions which I could choose from. I have been treated with respect and my needs were prioritised. I am a happy customer.

We are waiting 30 mins ago in front of the store (we are the first in the line) and the guy in the shop is playing with his phone and told us that they are too busy to call customers in.... please see the picture I posted to Google Maps..... Ridiculous, terrible customer service!!!!!! My mortgage application took significantly less time then queuing to vodafone for a sim replacement!!! AVOID

Worst shop ever (0 stars), would never reccomend vodafone to anyone. Assisted my disabled mum up the steep hill into the shop at the end of last year to cancel the sim contract after they had charged triple the agreed price on the contract. They said it was not possible to do in store and refused to help in anyway and said that we had to do it online or phone vodafone to cancel which we later found out was a premium line. Proceeded to try and cancel the contract by using their online services and we were ensured after I aksed multiple times if we would be charged for cancelling the contract and they said no evertime we asked. Its now 6 months later with no email or phone calls from vodafone and I have received a letter from CCS Collect demanding money on behalf of vodafone for an outstanding payment that we were never aware of or asked to pay. Just sums up how they like to treat their customers, only in it for their money with no customer service at all.

Absolutely shocking service from this branch. Nothing but problems. Very long wait times and staff which clearly don’t have a clue what they are doing. Avoid like the proverbial, go elsewhere and save yourself the hassle. Would not recommend. Wishing I had gone to O2 in the first place!

This store is the worst store I have ever in my life been to they lied to me about when my device will come then he it finally came the sim didn’t work so I went and spoke to this guy who said oh if you restart your whole phone the sim should work and he said he tired it and there was no problem but what a surprise the sim is messed up and I lost all my data trying to get the sim to work now all my data is lost even though I backed it up never ever in my life am I going to go back there switching to ee as soon as possible.

Not happy with their customer service. I returned a device and was told the credit would be issued to my account to come off my next bill. When I chased it up through the call centre, I was told I was given "cash" therefore no credit was applied to my account. I had to drive back to Guildford (I don't live in Guildford and unfortunately chose this shop as the nearest store to me!!!) and explain to the manager what had happened. He confirmed that an error was made by his staff as the store was "CASHLESS!!!". After spending an hour on the phone with customer service and then another 45 minutes in store, I wait in hope to receive my credit off my Apr bill.

Thieves and completely incompetent. They stole my money and it’s been over 2 months with them not refunding my money despite now a letter confirming they owe me money but can’t get gold of me!?!? Have phoned customer service 6 times giving my details EVERY TIME and have them admit they hire anyone off the street for this store and the manager says to staff “do anything to secure the sale”!!! ???????????????????????? Seriously go anywhere else but here!

If I was you I would buy a Mobile phone in EE or T mobile these two mobile phone company have the most fantastic customer service never in my life would I buy a Vodafone phone the staff in the shop were so rude and give the worse customer service ever for a phone network Vodafone kept me waiting for hour and a half with a complaint if. Vodafone want to keep customer they better pull their sock up .

Generally I think Vodafone's service is absolutely appalling. I was trying to transfer the ownership of my phone from my mum to myself and in the process my phone contract was cancelled and my phone was cut off. Once I got my phone back up and running the cost of my contract had then increased without my permission and the start date of the contract had been pushed back. I have been trying to communicate with staff via the live chat and on the phone for weeks and I had been getting absolutely nowhere with my issues despite the fact being told that they were all sorted. I gave up and decided to go to the Guildford store and was served by Jamie the manager and he was incredibly helpful and solved all of the problems that I had been having within minutes. I am incredibly grateful that the issues have now been sorted. Thanks very much!

Been to the shop on Thursday to port out a corporate number to a ne personal plan. Been served by Alexander. After 2.5 days, 3hrs on phone with customer service, speaking to 8 different people, number still not ported and need to hope somebody will sort it out on Monday. Been to,d it was not setup properly by the shop and the porting failed. Shocking service and still on going

I visited the Guildford High Street Vodafone store on Friday 30 July 2017 to check if I could upgrade my phone and tariff and I was served by Angel, James and Sam. The service provided by the staff could not have been better! They were all really friendly, professional and so very knowledgable and helpful. I left the shop with the new phone I was after, the exact phone services I wanted (and more!), my phone fully set up (with all info transferred over (down to all my apps being in the same location as my last phone and a screen protector too)) all for a reasonable price. Moreover I left the store with a massive smile as the staff were just a delight to be assisted by! The instore Samsung specialist knowledge in particular is a fantastic extra service offered to clients. The staff are a real asset to Vodafone and I wanted to pass on my positive experience.

I contacted vodaphone about a 'Pay as you go' phone that I purchased 3 years ago but never used. I ask if there was a shop with car parking facilities and they said Guildford. I asked where and directions but never got an answer! They shut the High Street so the alternative is 30min space at the bottom of the street. Phone no is wrong and again ask for mobile no. Usless.

Absolutely awful. After handing in my phone for repair I was given an old battered own-brand courtesy phone that i didn't need as i had a spare phone, anyway. I didn't touch the courtesy phone until handing it back in when i picked up my repaired phone, only to receive an extra £100 on my phone bill without warning 4 months! down the line. After calling up about this immediately i was told it was my courtesy phone that they had charged me for as they hadn't registered it coming back to them. How on earth they valued this phone at £100 i will never know. The back was falling off and it was barely useable. It was also supposedly impossible for them to sort it on the phone and i would have to go to back to the shop. After another long wait i was told that they probably did have the phone and they would send me the money back straight away. A week or so later with no money I call up Vodaphone again who yet again say i need to go to the shop to sort anything. Back to the shop and they say they tried to send me the money but there is nothing they can do in the shop and i need to call up Vodaphone directly!?! After a couple more laps of this infuriating cycle they then reveal that they have sent the money into my Vodaphone account, rather than my bank account! It takes another set of phone calls and one final trip to the store to actually get my £100 back about 6 months after giving the courtesy phone back on time and as requested. Despite the general nice natured people that i dealt with, the whole system is the most useless thing i have ever come across. You are honestly going to be more successful contacting people using homing pigeons than trying to live through a phone contract with this bunch.

After waiting 2 hours in store for my upgrade because they couldn't gdt through on the phone go head office, i was then told that the one phone they did have in store had the battery missing from it. I returned the following week but still no phone in stock, sorted out the new contract though even without a phone. They said i'd either receive a text or come back in a week to pick up the phone. I received a text on the tuesday saying that my phone was ready to pick up in store but gave them benefit of the doubt and went to the store on friday. Guess what? They can't find the phone and said that the text had nothing to do with them. I was furious. They said they would call me when the phone arrives. Five days have gone and not a word, you can't phone the store because the number is invalid. Could this go down as the worst mobile service ever. Not a sign of any compensation either.

The worst customer service ever. Why do you show a telephone number and not answer the phone. The reason people telephone a shop is because they want to ask a question. Not exactly rocket science is it. Sort yourself out VODAFONE, you used to be a good phone company, but now you are the worst. I shall vote with my feet and go elsewhere, after being a loyal customer since 1996, yes thats right 19 years a Vodafone customer, but not anymore. A complete and utter shambolic company, and your staff are untruthful. On Friday 7th August I phoned Vodafone and was assured by Barry that he would send me a new sim card by special courier betwen 8am and 4pm on Saturday 8th August. Needless to say it did not arrive, so I went to your Chelmsford shop, who said they never send out sim cards by special courier anymore, and only use second class Royal Mail. So the new sim car did not even arrive at my home until Wednesday.

i went to buy a new pay as you go phone today, at the vodafone store on the highstreet not the friary. and the guy who sold me my phone and helped me set it up, was pretty bad. 1. i noticed him struggling to put my sim card into the phone, trying to force the sim card in with the end of his pen. 2. He then told me that my phone was fully set up and functioning, but when i got home my phone wasn't registering the sim card. so i took off the back of the phone to see what was happening and it turned out that the sim card had been forced into the sim card slot, facing the wrong way =.= This also meant that the sim card holder was bent at the corner :'( but thankfully after putting the card in the correct way nothing seemed to be broken.

Increased my tariff by double the amount without letting me know. Went to cancel my contract but had recommitted me when I moved house for another 18months!! - again without telling me. Staff aren't interested. Frustrating waste of time.

Doesn't even merit one star. Not the first time I've had appalling service from this place but they sank to new lows today. I was served by the rude and clueless Alex. Not only did he deliberately ignore me when it came to my turn but he then tried to renew a bundle on my phone before I had put credit on it, and as a result I have lost all my (significant) roll over data - despite the fact that I carefully (OK maybe I should have stuck to words of one syllable) explained the problem to him in advance. If I had not been having problems with their useless app in the first place I would have simply bought myself a new bundle and lost the rollover days ago. He doesn't listen, has no customer service skills and absolutely no technical knowledge that I could glimpse. In fact, he told me to go away and dial 191 to discuss it with an operator as he was not prepared (i.e. able) to solve the problem he had created. This place is dire. I was far from the only one tearing my hair out in there this morning.
