When I arrived at the centre the staff were courteous and very friendly. They were all weariñg facial coverings and although I couldn't wait in the waiting area and the fact it was heavy rain they were quick and efficient in doing the work required. I would recommend this to all of my colleagues without hesitation

I was really pleased with the service I received here - from my experience not all garages treat female customers very respectfully and I've been spoken down to and ripped off in the past. Halfords were very honest and friendly with me and the costs were very very reasonable. Thanks!

Always nice , friendly staff . Charged £15 to re align headlight and £20 for some cleaning fluid that was £8 in their own store so leaves abit of a sour taste but staff are professional and friendly and I'd like to say a particular thank you to Amir who is a delightful charming person and did everything he could to assist me. All in all good service but please avoid unnecessary over charging . Thank you

Ordered tyres and given date and time for fitting. Tyres were not at the location when I arrived. Head office had told location of date change and location did not pay attention, returning the tyres without checking first. They tyres were prepaid for along with fitting when initially ordered. Poor provisions for disabled.

This morning I have tried to call many Halfords Autocentre to book an appointment for a brake light change and checking my faulty indicators.
They were all fully booked for many days and wanted around £50 for the service. I should've called first Guildford garage as they are very helpful and efficient staff. I was asked to come without appointment and after inspection within 10 minutes my car was fix.
So excellent customer service and all my questions were fully answered.
I didn't ask for a name of a young man from the reception who served me today after 1pm. He was very friendly and help and I felt like a valuable customer.
I definitely recommend this team as talking from this and past experience they have never disappointed me.

The only thing I got my first car ever so don't understand much and when I ask questions I feel like they could give me more details and explain better.

Will not go again. Only went because they offered a 77 point check on a full service. I knew already that I needed 2 new tyres so I was at peace with that as I had saved for it knowing I needed them. When I went to collect my car 8 hours later which still wasn't ready they told me about all these advisories. They quoted me over £900 considering I had already paid for device and MOT this was extra. I went berserk probably shouldn't have and I did apologise for this after, but he managed to get the cost down to £700. Also was nice enough to give me a bit of discount for being NHS worker. Not happy as I felt pressured and advised this had to be done as these things had to be changed every 2 years. Sparks plugs, pollen filter and other bits. Also they advised about damaged back tyre so when I agreed to the work I was appaled that they had not done this too as the other night on my way home from work my tyre pressure lights came on. Was not happy. Wouldn't recommend and will never go again. I was conned. As when we went to my pick up my brother's car from Kwik fit he had the exact same advisories but they never made him feel like he had to do it there and then. They just advised him and said as long as it was done soon. He got a better service better deal and better price. I'm really angry.

Went in for a change of two tyres on my car. When I showed up (on time) I was told that the work on my car would actually start an hour later. I queried this as I saw nothing on their booking engine that stated that. In addition there is no pretence of any kind of waiting area but was offered a single seat around a corner with no other facilities. Went out for a walk and got caught in a bit of rain which wasn't funny. Went back to collect my car and got it back 2hours and 10 minutes after checking in. So just for the record Halfords need 2 hours and 10 minutes to change 2 tyres! The allocated representative for me though (Amir), was very polite and informative but could do nothing to reduce the time for me due to their policy. I appreciate that companies have to comply with COVID procedures, but still - 2 hours 10 minutes to do this job is really TTP. Carl

They do what's necessary without padding out the bill with extra services that aren't needed unlike other autocenters. Polite customer service, even though I was deservedly chastised for not wearing a mask. I will continue to use Halfords for our cars.

Lovely guys and super prompt, when I couldn’t get to my first appointment they were understanding and gave me a new appointment then next day. Didn’t charge me for my headlights being poorly fitted or my fixing my bonnet! Would recommend:)

10 years ago I wouldn't have gone anywhere near a Halfords garage but now I wouldn't go anywhere else. I had the alternator fail on my Grand Cherokee late on a Sunday afternoon and had the car recovered to Halfords (although they were closed). Dropped the keys off on the Monday morning and they were on it before 11am. They kept me up to date during the whole process and even dealt with the warranty company direct, saving me the time and hassle of trying to claim it back myself. I have recommended many people to come here after having my service done a few months back and would continue recommending people to this garage. Top team, see you soon for the next service!
