This is simply one of my favourite shops in London. Don’t let the quaint, small facade lead you into thinking it’s a small limited place; the range of macarons and pastries on sale are as diverse as their other establishments and almost as much as in Paris if you’ve had the pleasure of visiting there. They have a detailed list of allergens for GF or nut (quite a few), and lactose/vegan (limited) needs. It’s as pretty as a shop can be, whilst maintaining a lot of elegance, and the food on offer matches perfectly. They are quite frankly some of the best pastries and macarons that you can buy for what I’d call a reasonable price.

Within Harrods building.. good ambiance inside... nice outside sitting if weather permits.. good food, sweets and biscuits.. but a bit pricey which of course worth it.

Food was yum, the service could have been better and more attentive. Some staff seemed to be a bit insecure in what they're doing but overall okay. Food portions varied although we ordered same French toast for the same price.

Bad service, poor cleanliness of the eating gear and bathrooms make you feel that u r in public ones!! The only advantage that makes this place crowded is the location not more than this especially if ur outdoor seated...

In the heart of Covent Garden can be found this luscious tea house. The cakes and tarts are as delicious as they are beautiful. While it isn't cheap, the service is quick and friendly and wants to make the experience worth the stop. Sit upstairs and overlook the busker's act or just be a people watcher. Great location for a sunny afternoon.

Poor, slow, unprofessional service. Expresso was cold, cake was obviously frozen at some point and not fresh.

Lovely staff and great location, but it is pricey! £4 for a tea or coffee. The chocolate éclair is filled not with cream but chocolate--it is too sweet. Macarons are £11 for 4!

The service was poor overall. We waited 15 minutes to be served and even then we had to ask when we will be seen to. The waitress was dismissive and unfriendly. People who came in after us had been served to immediately and food was given fairly quickly to them however our food did not come after waiting another 15 minutes to which we then cancelled the order completely. The staff seemed unbothered which is such a shame as I had heard great reviews about this place. Would not recommend.

Food and drink were good, service was poor. We wanted to have some drinks before ordering food, told them a few times but the one of them who dressed like a manager took away our menu without asking. I asked him to bring back the menu, he gave me excuses said he thought we have already ordered (it’s a basic to ask before you take anything away from customers table?!?!!)

We tendered for a contract here once and they just completely ghosted us after we had spent a lot of time on it..Very unprofessional from Bastion Le Fort the operations manager. I would advise not getting involved with this type of company.

A lovely location on a hot sunny day, what a sun trap. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This is not your average cafe/brasserie, it was a lovely experience as if i was in Paris.

Quite pricey but definitely reflective of the quality. Macarons from Laduree are definitely my absolute favourite. If you're feeling basic, definitely try the pistachio and vanilla macarons!

Service is not great. Quite slow, and the waitress really didn't seem to care, didn't know all pastries on offer, took ages to come back with our coffee. When we got the pastries, they were stale, barely reminiscent of the fresh pastries you can get in the Ladurée shops in paris. Not all the staff seemed like they'd rather be home, some were quite lovely. But I won't be coming back. It's shame from such a renowned pâtisserie chain.

Love this place so much. Discovered this place when I visited Paris and felt in love with the restaurant and the pastries. I recommend the French toast and Laduree ice tea were our favorite we couldn’t have enough that we had to return and the green macaroon!

First time coming here with my girlfriend and I am extremely unhappy with the service. I paid £20 for 2 cappuccinos and 4 mini macarons. However when they brang the cappuccinos, the foam disappeared and half of the coffee was already gone. Not to mention that the cups were tiny. Also the milk was extremely hot and I was unable to drink it for about 10 minutes. The coffee was tasteless. It seemed to me that they just added coffee and hot boiling water with a little bit of milk. The baristas clearly need some training as I can make a better coffee for free at home with my coffee machine. The milk should not be boiling hot when you make a cappuccino because you are burning the milk and making the coffee completely tasteless..

Horrible service , staff were rude throughout my visit and not attentive despite it being relatively empty. Food was fine but I wont be visiting again. I've never left such a bad review but I wouldn't want other people to have the experience I did.

Lovely combinations of macaroons but the gift boxes were way overpriced. Courteous staff though which is why I've given one star. Geared towards tourists with lots of disposable cash to spend.

Bad service from overly sarcastic waiter, over priced omlet or just not good enough for £30. Hot chocolate was good though. Uncomfortable furniture outside.

Went in there to get a box of 12 macarons around 7pm or so on a Friday evening. The store was not particularly crowded, nor was the seating area outside. We simply ordered a few - and the girl behind the counter had the worst attitude known to man - you would think she was doing us the biggest favour placing treats in the box. You would think we were the worst customers ever - asking 1,000 questions... but instead we started off simply with, “a box of 12... not the gift box kind.... one chocolate please....” and so on. When I went on to say one other flavour she questioned me as if I was making up the flavour when the advertisement list was right on the counter... I then said, I’m just asking for a flavour that is listed there she proceeded to interrogate me as if I was incorrect, or saying it wrong - but that wasn’t the case. We were about to order two more Macarons to have right then, but we decided not to in order to avoid her wrath. She had an completely awful attitude, we left feeling quite bothered considering we aren’t in any store buying a one quid candy bar etc...Lauderee at Covent Garden needs to train their team to provide service with a smile... rather than nasty service. That, or the girl behind the counter needs to quit her day job. Will certainly not be back - too rude and unpleasant of an experience.

Nice and fancy, but pricey for what you actually get. We had the cream tea, the scones were delicious but a bit on the small side, the macarons were great but that's what you would expect from Ladurée (I think they invented them for Marie Antoinette, dont quote me on that though)

Decadent interior and food, the macaroons are delicious and expensive for a reason. If you have to go for coffee and expensive decadent sweet stuff this is the place for you. As I joke the road to diabetes is a good one especially if you travel on the laduree one. Reminds me why I got so hyper due to all the heavenly deserts. Thank you for a wonderful time. I should have taken photos but I just devoured them.

Great location, wonderful Macaroons & coffee but not very well organised regarding seating. Its a busy place so I can understand having to wait but when you've waited & can see uncleared tables waiting to be cleared.....Its to nice a place not to revisit so I will give it another chance. Watch this space to see how I get on next time.

The cakes were absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious, which is why I’ve chosen to give more than one star. However I would not choose to spend time there again. The service was slow, the main waiter was brusque (bordering on rudeness) and our waitress clearly did not know the menu, or the basic tenants of taking an order. We were given three menus and then told we had 2 minutes to order from the breakfast one (why give us the menu in the first place?!), but weren’t given the lunch menu (which we could take our time in ordering from). One of my guests wanted something savoury, so ordered scrambled egg - which she was told she couldn’t have as she was too late. She was told she could have eggs Benedict instead. After some time a different (more polite waiter) told us we couldn’t have something we hadn’t even ordered - and we had to reconfirm the type of egg dish we had previously been offered. When the drink order arrived one of the drinks was incorrect (jasmine tea rather than iced tea) and despite asking for milk for the other teas it didn’t arrive until it was asked for again. We also requested some hot water to go with a coffee, which caused them some confusion. Another group of people arrived and had to squeeze past us. Having waited more than a reasonable time, they left before their order was taken. The whole experience was embarrassing and stressful as my husband and I were entertaining guests who were only in the UK for a short time. I’d did not create a good impression. To make things worse, they add a 12.5% tip to the bill. A tip should be given for good service as an appreciation - I would not have chosen to give a tip on this occasion, but as we had guests I did not want to ask it to be removed from the bill. On our way out, a very friendly waitress behind the bar gave a lovely smile and wished us a good day - had she been serving us, I am sure things would have been different. I would not recommend this cafe.
