I have been using DNS Accountant for more than 10 years now. Over the years, quality of service has gone only upwards. From day 1, they have been maintaining portal which can be used for updating all information, right from invoicing to the expenses. Sneha Gurudatta, my account manager, has been very helpful, extremely proactive, always eager to help. Quality of her service has been quick, top notch and error free. by far, she is the best Account manager I ever dealt with in DNS Associates. So far it has been great journey and hope it continues. These guys are an absolute joke. Their staff can barely type in proper English. I suspect they are outsourcing this work to India? Explains why their staff can’t string two coherent sentences together on an email. Their telephone manner is even worse! They lie about their fees and they make zero effort towards getting your paperwork filed on time. Late with mine for no good reason. I can’t believe they are able to call themselves qualified accountants. These other reviews have to be from their own staff. I wish there was a zero star option.

I was referred to DNS by a friend after having a really bad experience with my previous accountant. Rikesh helped me with the setup and the transition was smooth. My account manager’s advise has helped me keep my finances in order. I only had an issue with the DNS online app, which was resolved later. Definitely recommend their service for contractors!

They are providing cost effective ,reliable and very satisfying accounting service.Their online accounting application makes the book keeping easy.Above all their people factor is second to none.My accountant Amit always goes extra miles to help when needed.Even my query has been resolved in the weekend.I will very highly recommend DNS.

DNS have provided good service since Oct 2017. My account manager Minakshi Arora has been very helpful, very prompt in responding and patient with my repetitive questions. She has always provided multiple options to a problem and provide valuable and honest information for me to be able to pick the right option for my business.

DNS Associates provides cost effective and very professional services. My accountant Sneha Gurudutta has been always very keen to assist with whatever queries I may have. They are punctual and provide excellent service throughout.

I would not recommend DNS Associate Accountants. The sales team overpromise just to get you to sign a contract with them and the service received from that point is very low quality. DNS have outsourced and franchised, you will find very few genuine reviews on this site from clients who will reveal the truth on what it’s like to be a client of DNS Associates. A majority of the reviews are fake. My advise to DNS - focus on customer service, listen to your customers don’t put them down or insult them. Remember we as customers are paying for a service, which keeps your lights on and the water running.

I have been using DNS Associates over a number of years now and find them very helpful. My Account manager, Ashok Sharma, has proven to be a great asset to DNS Associates. He is swift to respond to my queries, keen to understand them, and timely in resolving them, seeking appropriate advice when needed, and managing my expectations of timescales for responses. He is very adaptable to my changing requirements, and gets the job done very well! One of my account managers in the past had not been so good, but highlighting this to DNS Management soon brought about a change to service my requirements with more attention, so I cannot fault DNS Associates for looking after me and my business. Recommended.

DNS Associates is excellent accounting service firm in UK and in specialise for IT contractor. They provide online portal which is an easy to use, efficient service, which provides me with accessible accounting information wherever I am. Also my account manager, Amit Gupta, swift to respond to my queries. His advice is always prompt and helpful. I have recommended it to another professional IT services business. FIVE START

For the first 2 years when I was with Dns I had no problems, but I didn’t really have anything to compare them to as I was new to contracting. 2-3 years on the time became painful. They over promise and there is no advisory on dividend withdraws etc, the more questions I asked the more irritated they became. I asked my accountant once if he can advise how much I should take out for dividends before April and it took him 2 weeks to get back to me after chase. When he did come back to me he said it’s now to late to take the 10k out as div but you can take it as a loan instead. And they also overcharged me more than my monthly fee. It’s only when I moved to my new accountants that I am now seeing personal profit. All of my liabilities are forecasted in real time so I know what’s happening. The sales team at Dns were like we will do everything for you so you don’t do anything, we will promise you the world etc - but overpromising proved to be the wrong for them to do and the wrong thing for me to accept. DNS in under the 10 years I had been with them had never ever advised how much I should take out for the year as dividends. Not once, and I was with Dns before the new threshold tax was added. I can’t even imagine how much I’ve lost through the non tax planning side of my accounts. They do offer a yearly tax planning service but i would have to chase that as well, and if that tax planning ever did happen it would be too late for you to do anything as the accounting year would have ended or they would try and sell me something as part of the planning session. I remember one year they tried to sell director share planning and I was the only director in my company, and this was selling attempt during my tax planning session which was too late as my accounts had already be filed. I have all this on email if DNS ever wanted to contend these occurrences. With my new accountants I’m taking the right amount of dividends and I’m now able to actually get on the property ladder. This is something I should have been able to do a lot sooner as a self employed contractor. I think Dns are more about quantity than quality, I had to give them feedback to not call me in the middle of the day at work to talk about the referral incentives they would give me if I recommended clients to them. I remember I called Gary to ask him to tell his staff to not call me whilst I’m at work to talk about such matters again, he agreed that the phone calls were inappropriate. And as an contractor there are instances where clients will ask you to provide a accountant contact to verify you as a self employed director of your own company, when I asked Dns to verify they were my accountants for a particular period they said they would only do so for £150+VAT. I decided to not pay the money and go through some other complicated route for the director verification for the particular period this client was asking for. When friends would ask me to recommend my accountant I would say sorry but I don’t think I can as I don’t want you to face the same problems I’ve had. I’ve referred 3 people to my new accountants now and the 3 referrals are as happy as I am. All I can say is that my new accountants provide me with so much peace, monthly tax planning advise and they don’t shout at me, they explain things clearly. Gary did help me leave towards the end. I tried to log a complaint and the team were not having it so they referred me to Gary the operations director. The don’t have a complaints policy or procedure, if you have a complaint they will cc you in an email whilst @mentioning someone else to look into the complaint like your an internal staff member. It was like a mission trying to find a new accountant to trust and try and do the handover from DNS but it was worth it. Think wisely when you are picking your accountants, you need them to do more than just file your vat and accountants, you need advise on dividend withdrawals and should be keeping track of your money expenses etc. Think wisely is my advise.

DNS is very professional accountancy with service to their customers being a paramount. Ashok has been my accounts manager and he has been exceptional in his work with regular follow ups and timely submissions of the accounts. His proactiveness is worth mentioning. The communication on regular basis is key to me and this has been never a problem. I would recommend him highly.

I was recommended to DNS accountants by a friend when I started my first contract. I was completely naive to the contracting world and not too good with financials. DNS surely came in to my rescue and helped me right from setting up limited company to everything around accounting till date. A high standard of service from DNS, used for just over 2 years. I received support from managers who knew the trade and understood customer needs. I would definitely recommend DNS to new potential customers, Sneha Gurudutta as the general account manager and Alfred Markus in other specialist matters. My only feedback to DNS itself would be to not switch account managers so rapidly as I had 3 during my short term. As with any other relationship, it takes time to build that level of trust/working relationship. Regardless to say, all staff I interacted with from the outset were very professional, friendly and approachable - especially for a lay person who knew very little about accountancy and all the ins/outs of the running my own limited company.

Nomisma software (cloud software), tax planning meetings and awareness with blogs and newsletters are some other features very much worth a mention.
