I had an issue with my screen that controls my internal temp as well as radio stations and such. I went to Cochran service and had Rex take a look and after some discussion, he and the service manager had said that with my certified Cadillac I only pay $50, not the estimated $1400. He was very professional and I really enjoyed my interaction with him

One of the worst places we've ever taken our vehicle. Service desk is argumentative, denying what repairs were made. Luckily, we had contacted the main customer service in Michigan and they were aware of what we were going through. They got us the service we needed much faster. When our check engine light came on the second time, Cochran denied they fixed it before (part of our $1,800 BILL) but the Detroit office called them and within hours, the car was checked out. We are buying a new car in less than a year and a half. We were going to Cochran because they are so close - no more, not with this service.

Went in to them because my engine light came on and they told me to come back at 1:00. When I came back they took my car back I waited in the waiting room by myself except for the young lady working at her desk for 2 1/2 hours till I finally went back and asked what was going on the guy said they were doing a diagnosis. A half hour later, now I been there for 3 hours they said I would have to leave my car there because the timing was off and they had to take a part some of the engine to find out why. Then they proceed to tell me that they warranty that they sold me might not cover that and it might cost me $600 just to find out why it was out of time. Now when we bought the car not more than 8 months ago we wanted the best warranty they had so if something went wrong we won't have to worry about anything. What was the point of your warranty. Here is the kicker though, When I mentioned about the wait he told me that was their process and that there was a 100 other cars back there. Now I was the only one in the waiting room, so you process doesn't include keeping the client updated after so long, not an attitude when a person brings up that they were waiting so long. Then when I asked if the warranty was good anywhere he told me if he couldn't satisfy me i could take my car somewhere else. I didn't raise my voice or anything other than letting him know i wasn't happy. Before that I talked to the wife and we were going to have the work done since the car was already there. But with the attitude that was given to me when I said something about waiting for 3 hours and asking about my warranty, that you guys sold me, might not cover it and now you basically telling me to take my car and go. I said fine i am taking my car. So BEWARE not to say anything about waiting or about your warranty.

Shawn Smail was AWESOME again! We had him 4 years ago when we purchased our previous truck. This time he and Dale Taylor secured us an awesome deal on a truck. Although we had to wait for it to actually arrive at the dealership and that part was frustrating, the rest of the experience was great as always. This is the 5th vehicle we have purchased from #1 Cocnran and it's the only place we'll go! Best Car Buying Experience Ever. The GM (Dale) is top notch and so is his staff. These guys treat my family and I like their own family. They do all the work for you and then you drive away with the best deal in town. This will be my go to dealership from this point on. I'm 4 leased vehicles in and plan to continue my GMC business with #1 Cochran.

I brought my car in to have my 3 month complimentary inspection done on my lease before I turn it in. the people at service didn't know what I was talking about, I showed him the email, he then tried to charge me $200. I waited for 2 hours and once they were done, they still didn't do the proper inspection. I'm very very disappointed with this service.

I dropped my car off on Tuesday evening for a Wednesday morning appointment. On Wednesday at about 12:30 PM I inquired about my car and was told that they had not even pulled it into the garage yet. At about 4:00 PM I received a call from the service adviser and he said that the car needed a part and they would have to keep the car over night. He also told me that they would get the part first thing in the morning and my car would be finished by noon on Thursday. At 1:00 PM on Thursday I call into the service department and was told that the technician working on my car had to deal with another car and my car would not be completed until Friday! I think this is unacceptable. Why did I have an appointment on Wednesday morning and they didn’t look at my car until after 12:30? Why did the technician working on my car get pulled off for some other customer?

I don't do these very often and when I do, it's for a good reason. I took my car in for routine service and a young man named Gerry Tyler took care of me. I don't trust most dealerships or autobody shops because they try to upsell you or tell you that you need things fixed when you don't but Gerry's customer service skills are second to none. He broke everything down for me and eased my mind. If you make your way to Cochran for service ask for him!

Tim Wills is the name of the salesman. I went and test drove a Subaru WRX 2017. The AC did not work he said he would have it fixed within a few days. He didn’t call me once. I called him 4 days later he told me it would be fixed by Monday. I called him Monday early morning wondering about this car he says “ hey Dave I’ll call you right back let me see if it’s all fixed yet. I’ll get back to you.” He never called back.... I go online and it was sold hours after I called that Monday. Very terrible salesman. I had 10k to drop on that car. You think a little more effort should have been put in.

Wanted to charge me $1900 for something that I have had repaired for $243 since at another GMC dealership. Ludicrous, disgusting and pathetic. Is it because I’m a woman and you “saw me coming”? Maybe but there’s a claim on file with GMC and the BBB.

I had some warranty work done and was going to take a few hours to complete so they gave me a courtesy vehicle to use instead of waiting there. That was so helpful to me!! My husband and I visited the dealership this past Saturday hoping to get a car after our vehicle was involved in an accident and was a total loss. We were greeted by Kristopher, one of the sales men, who was extremely helpful. After running my score it was determined I would need someone in finance to assist me and being that it was a Saturday no one was available so we were told to return Monday. Today we revisited the dealership certain that someone would be able to assist us. We arrived at 11 and was greeted by Kristopher who again was helpful. After we we waited and waited and waited. No one from finance ever came to speak with us and by this time I was frustrated it was now 2pm and we were just sitting and waiting. Once I was able to speak with Kristopher I expressed how I wanted to speak with the finance person who kept sending this young man to relay messages. After over 2 and a half hours and NO this is NOT an exaggeration JT finally came out to speak with my husband and I. I explained to him our situation and he began to tell us that we may first need our current loan paid by the insurance company before anything could be done. I couldn’t believe it after coming Saturday then sitting around for hours Monday this was terrible. I explained to JT how upset I was about the service we received. My husband and I did not deserve to be treated that way. Why did I need to return then sit for hours for this information? I expressed all of this to JT and all he could say in his snarky demeanor was “we’ll you don’t HAVE to stay here”. Fuming at this point I thanked Kristopher for all he had done for us and left the dealership after giving the finance person, JT, a piece of my mind. This has been one of the worse customer service experiences I have had. We used our time to come to this place not once but two times and this is how you treat potential customer. When my vehicle is paid off by my insurance company I do not think I will be returning. I feel like my husband and I was discriminated against. You can NOT get away with treating people like this.

About 3 years ago I connected with Louis Douglas and Dale Taylor for my first truck. The professionalism and welcome feeling was like non other. These guys helped both my wife and I get into new vehicles. Since our last experience was by far the best I've had I came back again and they knocked it out of the ball park. He helped me get the exact car I wanted and for the price I wanted. I could not have asked for a better salesmen to go through this process with. Dale went above and beyond to make this deal happen and Words cannot express how grateful I am for him. This hands down was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Due to the way I was treated by Dale my parents will now be buying there next GMC from Dale at Cochran Buick GMC!

I was quoted almost $400 to replace spark plugs. And that was after the $116 diagnostic fee. Thankfully, I know my way around a car and know that good spark plugs can be bought for less than $15 each and can replace all 8 in less than an hour. I took my vehicle and did the repair myself. I will not be returning after the dealership tried to take advantage of me.

For a company this size, you would think they would hire/train the service personal to do a good job. Example 1. 2017 Explorer making unusual noise from transmission area. There test consisted of hooking the car to an electronic computer, no test drive. I don’t believe the computer tests for worn bearings; is that electronics? Anyhow took to another dealer, who did test drive and the transmission needed replaced. NOW, took vehicle back due to a recall notice, yes they have the parts I was told over the phone. Took in for appointment and left. Next day get a call, don’t have the parts? What a surprise. I have purchased 4 cars here and never again. More to customer service than getting them into a car. Only reason 2 stars is for free inspections. Good job #1 (ROB)
