Very dishonest dealership. My aunt bought a used BMW from Lindsay and her husband committed suicide 2 weeks later. Car was in terrible shape and needed new brakes. Alfonso he would help with a declaration to have estate be responsible for the costs. They lied and lied and never helped her. This car dealership screwed over a widow---a new low even for a car dealership. Go elsewhere. They have no integrity, conceal the state of their pre owned vehicles, and are just plain evil.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my brand new Atlas at Lindsay VW. Raj Mishra my sales person was incredible from start to finish. Raj is very knowledgeable not only about the car and feature, he knows the magic to find the desired payment too. Raj was able get me additional discount and made the deal sweeter by finding me a few hundred extra for my trade. Certainly a trust worthy sales person and worth recommending to friends and family.

I don’t usually leave reviews but ALFONSO hooked it up ! My family has usually always leaned towards Volkswagen cars but this time I wanted to change it up from everyone else in my family. My dad and I were on the look to get me a car that I 100% would love. My dad decided to look at Lindsay’s Volkswagen of Dulles. He found 2 cars that he thought might work out well for me. When we got to Lindsay's to check the 2 cars out. Alfonso greeted us and brought the cars out! He was so amazing. I have never had such great customer service at a dealership before. He made me feel super comfortable and helped me make the right decision. I had seen a Beamer I liked on the Lindsays website for used cars. Alfonso brought out the car and let me test drive. He wasn’t pushy at all !!! I feel like most dealerships are so pushy with sales and don’t really care about you but Alfonso made me feel like family and seemed to really care about my concerns. Long story short I ended up getting a BMW. I got an amazing price for it! He really told me everything I needed to know and I’ve never been so happy over a car in my life before. He really made my experience so memorable and just great over all. I will definitely tell all my family members to come see Alfonso! Review of Lindsay Volkswagen Service.
On 26 Oct 2020, I dropped my 2017 VW certified pre-owned GTI off at Lindsay Volkswagen for a 27 Oct 2020 appointment. The issue was water leaking onto the drivers floormat when parked in the rain. From all the website blogs it appears to be a common problem where the sunroof drain tubes are clogged.
I took the car to the dealership vice my normal mechanic because the blogs said the problem was so common there may be a Technical Service Bulletin.
After calling a couple hours after my appointment time the service advisor, I won’t use his name, checked and said my 2017 certified VW had rust on the frame of the sunroof and it would cost $3500. I explained this is a common problem, on the internet, and if a 2017 sunroof has enough rust for the sunroof to leak it is a manufacturers defect and the part should be replaced for free. No agreement from my Service Advisor. I picked the car up the next day for $149.95 and the technician was not in to speak to and the advisor was still no help.
I took the car from the dealership to my mechanic who fixed the clog in less than an hour, said it’s very common, and fixed my seatbelt which had been twisted inside the pillar, I assume during the Lindsay VW inspection.
I called the original VW Service Advisor at 12:05 and said I’d like to speak to a Manager. He said they were at lunch. I called back at 3:40 and left a message that I would like to speak to a Manager. A Manager, I won’t use his name, called at 7PM and was helpful and knowledgeable. He said he knew the leak was a common problem and it would be odd for rust. He asked me to come in the next day and refunded me the $149.95. I did not mention the seat belt twist.
I received two generic robo texts asking how the service was on 29 and 31 Oct. I did not respond because this was my second negative experience at the dealership. The first time I wasted my time writing up the issue and got no response.
The first incident was on 27 Aug 2020 when I brought my VW GTI in for an oil change and tire rotation. All went well but the “Lindsay Volkswagen World Class Inspection” (actually says that on the invoice) recommended a four wheel alignment. I left the dealership and went directly to the NTB service shop where they offer a 5 year alignment. They said I had a bad brake caliper leak. I left NTB and went directly to my mechanic who confirmed the caliper leak and replaced the caliper. I wrote this up and sent it twice to the texts and got no response.
Bottom line: The manager tried to resolve but between overpriced estimates, bad diagnosis and a feedback system made designed to send generic texts I would take my business elsewhere.

This is how a newly purchased CERTIFIED Volkswagen Beetle looks like after the so claimed VW Certification. Two weeks and three pick-up trips to the dealer( Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles, Chip Lindsey) still no car. Sunroof seal defective, internal electric components not functioning, mediocre interior cleanliness.
Staff rude, disrespectful, deceiving, belittling, humiliating towards customers and women, emotionally and mentally abusive. More concerned with bulling and storm-arming you into believing the car should be picked up as is certified, clean and up to par, then taking responsibility for mistakes, apologizing and remedying the situation.
All of this after you agree to Financing trough VW, if not price goes up by at least $1,000, - keep the loan for three months so they do not get penalized.

It isn’t often that I leave a review but TW and Marc deserve the recognition. I have bought several cars in my lifetime and I have NEVER had such an amazing experience like I did at Lindsay Volkswagen! Even during a big event for the local dog adoption and TONS of people there I still felt like I was the only person there and that mattered. They were even willing to stay late to make sure that I went home with the car that night since I live an hour away. But what really took me back is the fact that Marc and TW were willing to step up to wash and detail my car when the detail guy left for the evening. It wasn’t necessary for them to do that but they didn’t hesitate when they realized what was going on! I have NEVER received the welcome and customer service like I did at Lindsay Volkswagen! Don’t believe everything you hear or feel about a sales guy because these two are different breeds! I’m so thankful for you guys!!

Very disappointed, They tell you they match prices with other volkswagon dealers for service and they tell you different when you get there. Shop and service your car at Stohlman in Tysons. You will save more and they do great work. From now on I'll service my 3 Volkswagens at Stohlman even thought I live in Sterling 5 minutes away from Dulles Volkswagen.

The customer service is good however the mechanics are incompetent. Took my car in for an oil change and they couldn’t do that correctly it started leaking oil. After I got my car back from leaking oil the alignment was off. They implied that all of this was my fault. I will never go back to them again. I am also done buying Volkswagens.

I really cannot say enough good things about Lindsay Volkswagen. From my very first interaction (via the web) to every one thereafter, be it over the phone, in person, or via text, Lindsay staff were the most professional, helpful people I could ever hope to encounter. While I initially was interested in an older, used car <10k, once I got to the shop and test drove a few newer, CPO vehicles, I fell in LOVE. The folks at Lindsay were able to get me a wonderful deal on a gorgeous Jetta that my daughter, service dog, and I all adored. Trust me when I say, these people are the real deal. They have thousands of 5-star ratings because they are that good. Don't believe me? Try them yourself and you'll see!
Gotta give a special shoutout to my girl Debbie Gonzalez, who is perhaps THE BEST salesperson ever. Not at all pushy, incredibly helpful, and eager to please--if only all businesses employed people like her! She's so committed to her customers that she repeatedly checked on me and my car-buying process immediately after *emergency dental surgery*! If that's not going the extra mile, then I don't know what is! Not to mention, she was so sweet and great with both my daughter and our dog, she offered to have food delivered to the office for us (since it was a 400 mi roundtrip--another testament to this phenomenal place, since I was willing to make the drive!), and she had me text her when we got home so she'd know we were safe. ???? She even paraded us around the office and introduced us to EVERYONE, including the owner. Every single person with whom we came in contact was amazingly kind and helpful; I really could not have asked for a better car-buying experience. Special mention to Mariya as well, for her detailed explanations and thorough concern regarding understanding the fine print. Top-notch service, without a doubt.
I'll say one more thing before I finish. We were at Lindsay during that ridiculous polar vortex at the end of January. My hands were so dry and chapped that they desperately needed moisture, but I didn't have any lotion. I asked Debbie if she had any, and she offered me two different options. The one I used had THE MOST incredible, sensual scent (Love by Victoria's Secret, for those beauty gurus out there--I gotchu, fam). I commented on how lovely it was, and SHE LEGIT GAVE ME THE BRAND NEW BOTTLE. Then she reached into her purse, pulled out the matching fragrance mist, and gave me that as well! It was the kindest, purest thing ever, and I will love her forever for it. Thank you, Debbie, for everything. From the bottom of our hearts to the tips of our toes (and paws), you and Lindsay will forever be like family to us. ????????????????????

Sometimes it's the little things that give you bad taste and make you want to reconsider your past/future choices. Tire rotation is not part of services that are done every 10k. Supposedly the 30k service costs $400+... Yet I was told tire rotation would be an extra $40!! Tire rotation is not part of the service. So cheap..I paid for the service plan when I bought my Atlas...it was probably more than getting it done elsewhere but I thought I'd keep it at the place I bought it for consistency. Beware it was a rip off. 10 20 and 30k services are basically just oil changes...Then I found out they wouldn't even rotate the tires...
Was hoping to have some sense of customer loyalty for buying my next car?

I dont leave reviews often but this place deserves one in my opinion. Bob Derby was my sales person. He listened to my requests and found a vehicle on the lot based off of my needs. He never once tried to force me into something I didn't want and that's the way it should be. The day before going to Lindsay I went to Honda in Chantilly and the salesperson kept trying to sell me a 2020 model year vehicle in the wrong body and interior color just because they want to clear the lot of previous model year vehicles. Everyone from sales to finance that I dealt with at Lindsay was courteous and professional.
