My wife and I showed up to the Lindsay VW Dulles as newly weds looking for our first car. Our search to this point was super stressful (I'm obsessed with design and keeping up with appearances and my wife keeps a pretty tight spreadsheet on the budget). Bob Derby went out of his way to understand our dynamic and found us a pre-owned SEL Tiquan. He not only squeaked it under budget, but also made sure we got a certified pre-owned so we'd have a 2 year warranty for peace of mind and beautiful car.
The biggest compliment I can give is Bob and the rest of the staff made us feel comfortable and that our best interest was in mind. They understood our budget, but also that we needed something nice that would last. There was no pressure at any point -- just an honest attempt to find us our perfect first car at budget. We're also grateful to Larry Schiro in the Finance department for making what would normally be a stressful process comfortable. Between Bob and Larry, we can honestly say we felt at home.
I'm in love this car already -- it's fun to drive! -- and I feel like I might become a VW cultist. So, after we drive the Tiguan into the ground, the first thing we'll do is call Bob. I don't care if he's in bed -- he's waking up to upgrade me to an Atlas.

I took my car in for an oil change today and did not have a good experience. I left a poor review, the service manager reached out immediately today to discuss what happened. He made the situation right and I am very pleased with their customer service. In the future I'll be taking my car back to their shop as I am confident I'll have a better experience next time.

My wife and I recently purchased a certified Golf GTI from Lindsay and it was such a great experience that I highly recommend them. Prior to coming to Lindsay I had first been to Alexandria and Fairfax and was quite disappointed with the experience.
As soon as I phoned Lindsay our client advisor Rajesh Mishra who answered promptly and in two minutes I new we were dealing with a professional. He was communicative, efficient and genuine. We loved the car and he made the buying experience seamless. The dealership is also a very nice environment, building and location.
Our finance manager was Teemour Piracha who was also a rockstar. He is also effecient and takes time to explain. He has also been fantastic about following up with tag work and MD inspection. Both of them also made the experience pleasant and you get a sense that they really care about their customers. Well deserved 5 stars and I think this is the best VA side VW without a doubt.

I have purchased three cars from Lindsay VW over the past few years and the experience has been excellent. Most recently I bought a car during the pandemic and Bob Derby was super helpful. We did everything by email and phone so the car was waiting for us when we arrived and after about ten minutes of paperwork we were on our way. The service department is top notch as well. Very efficient and transparent. I highly recommend this dealership. It is clearly very well run top to bottom.

We found the perfect VW Beetle on-line at Lindsay VW. This could have been a problem considering we are in California and Lindsay VW is in Virginia. We hit the jackpot when we contacted Lindsay VW and their top notch salesman Bob Derby. Bob was quick to respond and very helpful in guiding us through the purchase of this vehicle sight unseen. We felt confident in Bob for many reasons-but the two most important qualities that we experienced was his sincere concern and honesty. He assisted us every step of the way including arranging for our VW to be transported cross-country. Can’t say enough good things about my buying experience with Marcus and the team at Lindsey. I reached out to several dealerships in the area and Lindsey VW was one of the few that was transparent with me.

Four months ago we purchased a new 2020 Tiguan R-Line from Lindsay and had a great buying experience. Then over a few month period, we had a need for a good used car. I went on line and found a couple of cars that I was interested in. I gave John Mule a call and he said that he would make the cars available for us to look at. We made an appointment to come in and take a look at them. Thus, after a couple of hours, we were driving away with another car. I will always recommend Lindsay VW to all my friends and associated. Great car at a great price. Was the cheapest in the nation for the model/year/mileage range I was shopping for. Bill was a great sales guy.
Only negatives of the experience were inaccurate web postings...several vehicles listed online were not ready for delivery...maybe add a disclaimer to the website? Bill was very helpful in determining what in stock and ready to go. The prices posted online are presuming you use dealer provided financing or they go up $1,000...to be fair this is in the fine print on the website. Lastly, the finance guy was pushy in trying to sell prepaid maintenance and extended warranty packages.
Again, a solid experience for buying a car. I would shop there again and I would recommend the place to friends.

We want to share our experience purchasing our beautiful Beetle at Lindsay VW. After looking around at many different web sites, we stumbled upon Lindsay VW who also happened to have good amount of certified Beetles available on their web site. We are located in North Carolina so coming to sterling to check the car was nearly impossible. We wanted to make sure the car was available and in the condition that it was being advertised. We called Lindsay and got in touch with our Sales person Raj. We explained our concerns with considering a car that we have not physically seen. Raj was extremely patient through out our conversation - Raj is a great listener. He offered us a video walk around of the white beetle that we were in love with. Raj was able to provide us all the details about the certified program process. After multiple emails and phone calls- we agreed that there was no better sales person than Raj who can be trusted. We decided to purchase our Beetle without even seeing it. Raj provided us with a great price which we could not find at our local dealership. We completed our paperwork through FedEx. When we arrived at the dealership to pick up our car- Raj had our car ready for us. Boy ! the car was shiny and beautiful. Raj certainly delivers to his promises. All stars to a sales man like Raj! He is our guy for life when we need to pick up a car!

We were originally not in market for an Atlas. Our Jeep lease was coming to an end and we were hoping to replace our car with another jeep. Just out of curiosity we came to Lindsay VW and met Raj Mishra. We told him from the get go that we were probably going to get a Jeep but we were curious about the Atlas. We were sure to be out of the store in few minutes. Raj took his time and spent good bit of time to explain about the Atlas which turned out to be a super impressive vehicle. In spite of our loyalty with Jeep we were falling in love with Atlas as Raj was going over the features. After a short test drive of Atlas we realized we would have missed out on such a great vehicle if we had gone with Jeep again. We decided to move forward with the car. The hard part was how to get a deal - Raj made it easier than we ever could have imagined. Raj was efficient and straight forward with us. We loved every thing about Raj and his sincerity is precious. We would love to recommend him to all our friends and family. If any one wants to get a great service from Raj they have to avoid Mondays and Tuesdays of the week because Raj gets his well deserve days off on those two days. Thanks Raj!

I have never had such a positive experience like I have had with Lindsay Volkswagen. While most of the staff there is top notch, Alfonso Monteverde is hands down the best salesman you could ask for. I mean it, ask for him. I've never seen someone work so hard for the customer to ensure they get exactly what they want. He understands buying a car is a big deal for the customer and not just a sale. The first salesman I worked with there was sub-par but Alfonso stole the show and impressed me. I loved how personable he was and how he consistently went the extra mile for me during the entire process. I am from the York Pennsylvania area and made the long drive because of the terrible customer service from the local VW dealer near me.
