We can't recommend TaxAssist highly enough. Always on hand to deal with any request no matter how big or small. Professional, great to work with and most importantly great advice with a culture of always going above and beyond to make sure all business accounting requirements are met to the highest standard. We rely on them for all our accounting needs from company returns, to VAT and beyond. Engaging them has been a great business decision plus they are an absolute pleasure to work with.

I’ve been a customer for over 10 years. Service really improved now it’s under new management (from April 2020). The new guys recently set up 3 new limited companies for my new business ventures and have looked after all angles including financial planning / tax efficient insurance aspects. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

I’m a brand new business and so new too the process so being able to completely rely on Max has been a huge weight off my mind! They have taken care of everything for me and given me clear directions on what I need to do. I feel completely comfortable leaving my business in their hands and would highly recommend them. Thank you so much!

I started with tax assist recently, I had a face to face meeting with max, he talked me through everything I explained this is my first company and relatively new to all this side of things he was so helpful and no matter many how many times I call with questions he is always available and helpful, polite. Absolutely brilliant service would highly recommend them as a company to use

For anyone who, like me, became increasingly disillusioned with the previous ownership/management of TaxAssist in Hove, the arrival of new ownership/management has been like a brilliant sunrise after a very long dark night. The professionalism and responsiveness has, in my long experience, been without parallel. Thank you Matthew and Lacky.

I recently asked the new owners of Tax Assist in Hove to help me with my self assessment grant. HMRC in their wisdom had decided (incorrectly) to refuse my grant, which left me in a pretty dire situation financially. I asked for this to be reviewed a number of times but the answer from HMRC was always the same. Fortunately Matthew and Max took up the challenge, and despite meeting with a great deal of resistance from HMRC over a prolonged period, they never gave up. I have now been awarded my full grant, and I know this would not have happened without Tax Assist. Thank you guys!

Couldn't see any other reviews but I felt my experience should be recorded. I didn't have time to do my own accounts for my micro-entity start up in 2015 and I hoped I would learn something by a professional doing my first 18months trading. The accountant kept missing promised delivery dates and as the submission deadline loomed and I pressed for delivery the secretary at the time was very unprofessional about me in an email which I was only privy to by accident. Since I now have time to look into my accounts myself I realise just how simple it can be, which is why I'm now concerned at how confusing the journal is specifically my hire purchase agreements which are central to the first few years of my business, not alluded to at all. I will be doing these far more transparently myself in future. I'm sure there are some very happy clients out there but I just felt this should be recorded,
