When I bought my first buy-to-let property I approached Martin & Co and spoke to Kate, she could not have been more helpful and professional. She answered all of my queries and if she wasn't sure she always got back to me with the answer. I now have a portfolio of properties and I wouldn't trust any other company than Martin and Co to manage them, (so long as Kate continues to work there that is.) would not hesitate to recommend.

Staff were friendly and prompt at getting back to us and making sure that we understood all the steps that were going to be taken.
They were able to clearly manage our expectations of properties and were honest as to the pros and cons of each, working to read our likes and dislikes in order to cater for us the best they could.
When we ran into difficulties with a credit check agency, staff were sympathetic and moved quickly to rectify the situation.

During the six years that Martin & Co having been managing my property in Oxford I have been completely satisfied with the level of service that I have enjoyed.
Tenants have been carefully vetted: void periods have been kept to an absolute minimum: service problems have been dealt with efficiently and payment has always been made timeously.
In addition, both the management and staff at Martin & Co are extremely friendly and highly professional.
As a landlord living outside the UK, it is reassuring to know that my property is in such good hands and that in my absence I can entrust Martin & Co in Oxford to resolve all issues relating to my property.

My husband will be attending The Said Business School this coming September. With being in South Africa - I was not sure how we would find accommodation in Oxford to suit our needs. I sent through a request on the Martin and Co website and got a response from Sam - a letting agent from Martin and Co.
Sam responded to me within hours of my initial query - and within days I had secured and apartment for my husband and I that met all our specifications. Being from South Africa - I was not able to view the apartment. Sam put my mind at ease and went to the apartment and took recent pictures of he apartment to send me. She also made recommendations to the landlord of what needed to be done - in order for the apartment to be handed over to me. (Cleanign etc). Sam was great and she described the apartment and all the furniture to me in detail. She was my eyes.
Sam is one of the friendliest and most efficient rental agent I have ever worked with. She responded to every single one of my emails - answering every single one of my questions. This was all done within minutes of me sending her an email.
Sam I thank you for all your help - and if anyone needs help to find any accommodation in Oxford - you will be highly recommended to them by me. I could not have asked for better service. Thank you Sam :)

Martin and Co was extremely helpful to us as we prepared for our transatlantic move. In particular, Paul Dashwood Evans was highly professional; he gave us a video tour of the properties we were considering and gave us his own honest assessment of the differences between them. Since then we have selected the property he most strongly recommended for our family, and we could not be happier with the property and location. I recently rented a house with Martin and Co and was impressed by the excellent customer service and straightforward renting process. I needed the property a few days earlier than the official starting date set by the landlord and they negotiated this for me. All of my questions were answered quickly and clearly. The fact that most of the paperwork could be done online was particularly convenient for me. Definitely recommend them.

We have had a really good experience with Martin & Co. In fact on the day I spotted what was to become our new home Lizzie McLean from the Oxford office was able to come and collect me for a viewing within the hour. It was good luck for both of us that we were able to make an impromptu meeting. Following after that meeting and my decision to take make an offer to the landlord Lizzie was hugely efficient in firming up the details and by the ed of the day the deal was done.

We moved out on 14th November 2015 as the house was sold due to Landlady living abroad.We were at the house for sixteen months. Lily has been very helpful through out our stay which was very reassuring as we have two young children.She always answered my many queries and problems were dealt with swiftly hope the next agent is as helpful and understanding.Lily understood what we were looking for and we were very happy with the home that we rented. I recently moved to Oxford from North Wales. Martin & Co made it easy.
I rented a place which was being refurbished. Unfortunately, since I was living away from Oxford, the first time I witnessed the end product was the day I moved in. Obviously this was a bit nerve-wracking, as I was unsure whether the end-product would be acceptable. As an overseas student, I have been previously burned when trying to rent places I had yet to physically view.
Luckily, Martin & Co handled everything splendidly. The room looked great, and the few quibbles I had were taken care of immediately. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially those trying to rent from a distance.

Look in the illustrated Oxford English Dictionary under "Customer Service" and you'll find a picture of Bob, Clare, Sue and the team from Martin & Co in Oxford. The whole team are a delight to work with and I have done so since they started up in 2005 (I think!).
What sets Martin & Co apart from a number of their peers is their attention to detail; the understanding they possess of what matters to their landlords and tenants and their ability to exceed the expectations of both with, what appears to be, consummate ease.
No request, enquiry or question is too much trouble for them and they are a sheer delight to work with.
I highly recommend them.

Viewed a property to rent on Saturday, they managed to ‘squeeze’ us in for a viewing. Guy didn’t know how much the deposit was or the admin fees - said they’d email all the information on Tuesday when they get back after the bank holiday. Did they do this? No! Called 2 days later and the properties gone... signed for on the same day we viewed it. Obviously we would have signed there and then if he knew the numbers. Customer service is poor and phone manner is dismal.
