Considering the fact that renting a place in today's modern age via an estate agency (or not) can be a very time consuming, complex and energy draining process, Martin and Co. and Iulia Hogas in particular made it very clear and as easy as possible for me and my best friend to move in together. Highly prompt and comprehensive communication, excellent professional service at comparatively attractive agency fees.

Iulia, from the office of Kidlington, was really helpful and supportive with all my questions. She clarified every single one during the whole process, and they were quite a few, since it's the first time I'm moving to England and I rent a property through an estate agent.

Incompetence doesn't even come close. Thanks to appalling customer service myself and my four fellow housemates were within six hours of being homeless. Martin and Co have put me off moving for life. If I could give them a worse 'star rating' I would.
It took nine and a half weeks to go from our initial email saying we would like to sign for the house to actually signing the contract. Countless unreturned phone calls and emails sent from all five of us.
Not only were they hopelessly bad at returning calls and emails but they were rude and obnoxious when they did reply.
After failing a guarantor check we were shocked that all we received was a one sentence email explaining the problem:
"I’m afraid that the referencing for x & her guarantor has come back as a fail on the affordability side of the report. I cannot now proceed with either the tenant or the guarantor."
There was no word of what to do next or an apology just a simple, rude email.
Further to this once we all did sign (a day before we were due to move in) we received no email or phone call thanking us for signing. Nothing.
Genuinely the worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure to witness. Please do not trust these people.

Luke at Martian and Co in Oxford could not have been more helpful or patient. Dealing with 4 students, chasing three of them around and around to get paperwork, and contract changes through out. Very helpful. Would defiantly use again.

Didn’t reply on emails and didn’t hold to their promises made on the phone. „Yes, we will make a Video of the property for you tomorrow“ - Guess who never replied to me again. When a company doesn’t even replies to future tenant, then how do they treat their actual residents. Wouldn’t recommend renting from them.

Outstanding service from luke Vecchione who has been excellent at answering all questions and concerns regarding my soon to be property. Also very welcoming when answering the phone which is always very lovely and positive. This is my first property and as you can imagine I hadn't had a clue about anything and he's been more then helpful explaining everything in detail and also a short phone call away, very easy to get in touch with him which is also very good in need of information. Over all luke has been an absolute diamond. Would definitely recommend Martin and co oxford to anyone :)

My case was complicated since I was relocating to Oxford from Norway and I wanted to have accommodation close to my work place. When I found property that completely suit my requirements I had issue with its availability at time of my arrival. To solve this problem I contacted Luke Vecchione from Martin & Co Oxford. He helped me to find short time rent until permanent accommodation became free. He was very flexible and professional in his work. For instance, he was able to meet me at late night in Saturday to sort out payment and helped me to move in. Without such support my relocation would be very problematic. Thus I'm very thankful to Luke Vecchione and Martin & Co Oxford for support.

I have recently relocated from Newcastle to Oxford; Searching for rental properties in Oxford is a real pain especially being new to the place. Luckily, we met Paul at Martin & Co. He found the best property that suited our requirements in very quick time and made sure we moved in time without any hassles - I could clearly see the amount of hardwork Paul has put-in throughout the process.
Paul Dashwood-Evans and Martin & Co have been exceptional at communicating with me from the start of the rental process; Paul's customer service skills are excellent!!! He has professionally, politely and patiently answered all our questions, some of them are very trivial :-)
My wife is extremely happy the property, we settled into Oxford within no time and I'm focussing on my job peacefully.

I rented a flat with Martin & Co rently recently. Their service is very bad, and they try to find any reason to charge you when you move out or renew the contract. Definitely, I would not recommend this agent to my friend.
