Did you know that Toa Payoh is the first air-conditioned bus and train interchange in Singapore? Located at the heart of Toa Payoh and just a short walk away from HDB Hub, Toa Payoh Interchange is a lively place from morning until night.
There are many shops here from food court to bubble tea shops, and also Popular, Fair Price, McDonald's, banks and also atrium. It's one of the quintessential Singapore neighbourhood. Quite an awesome place!

For a repeated tourist to Singapore it is very nice to get away from the tourists and visit a proper local open shopping centre. Well priced products and food. A hidden gem and should be visited.

Toa Payoh HUB is the Heart of Toa Payoh, people living in this town comes to the Hub to take the MRT or Buses to work , shop at NTUC Supermarket for groceries, or Dine at the Food Courts & Fast Food restaurants. In addition , folks can do their banking and send or collect mails and parcels right here in the Centre of this HDB estate.

This station has a big bus terminal and directly linked to many shops!
Fair price is quite big and there’s a post office, book shop, and many small shops inside the HDB block which located near to this station:)
Very fun place to explorer the local life so I recommend foreigner to visit here if you happen to be around this area!

The station is like other neighbourhood stations, without much character unlike Chinatown station. But it serves its purpose well, with ample space to cater to large crowds. There are also some seating for the aged. Lift for the handicapped.

I like HDB hub as NTUC, Popular and Value $ is there. I used to bring Gieselle who is my favorite grand niece to come to McDonald's to have Happy meal and she got a free toy then bring her to Popular to buy sticker and sweets then buy soya milk home for Kenneth who is my niece. Full of memories of the old days.
