Dakota station is on the yellow line. One of mrt station I use most often.
It access to east coast- if you want to go east coast park, parkway parade, you can transfer the bus here.
If you want to go one of the most famous food court- old airport food court, it’s walking distance from Dakota mrt station.
If you want transfer to green line or purple line, just one station to paya lebar( green line) and 5 station to serangoon(purple line) and 2 station to macpherson( blue line)
Great place to live, and lots condo or hdb nearby. There are convenience stores, super market, clinic and drug store

Residential MRT station. Only a few stops or so away from CBD. Close to old airport food Centre. A number of bus lines stop here with connections to east coast area. Friendly uncles Manning the security gates in mrt. Drop off car and taxi area.

Nice and simple MRT station. No noticeable design flourishes to take note of, but still a simple and functional station. Has a Singtel telephone booth (if your phone's out of battery), sufficient number of pop-up stations considering the relatively low traffic at the station. One thing that could be improved is erecting clearer signs pointing to the toilets - it wasn't immediately noticeable to me

The MRT station is good.. just feel that the Dakota area is really hot especially in the afternoon. Really need to plant more trees in the area.

Our local Mrt for our stay in Singapore. We found the mass transit light years ahead of the UK. Massive kudos for the accessibility efforts made for wheelchair users, all stations and trains feel light and airy, lovely, for mass transit!

Good station, clean with air conditioning. Not too deep compared to others.
Trains are on time and not crowded in the morning or evening

This is a residential area. You can see HDB and condo(apartment?) around MRT station.
There is a secondary school so I think this area also a safe and nice to live:)!
But I couldn’t find the shops and food court near to MRT so you need to walk a bit from MRT station to find something to eat (old airport road food centre is located 5-7mins walk away from this station)

Quite good with good air conditioning but they always switch the rotation of the escalators which was so troublesome idk why also. But, the signs in the metro station are still looking good eh.

MRT station along Circle line, with OCBC and POSB cash withdrawal machines near Exit A. Small station and minimal facilities. Interesting points are the numerous bike-sharing moBikes and oFoBikes parked outside the station. Also, along the walkway of Exit A, there are pictures of award winning art exhibitions depicting iconic scenes of Singapore.

To Old Airport Hawker Centre, use Exit A, walk for 10 mins on the pedestrian walkway (facing the traffic).
To Marine Parade Road, use Exit A, walk 2 mins to bus stop at Blk 99 and take 31.
To City Hall, Orchard Road, use Exit B, walk to bus stop near Police Post and Take Bus 16.

only the MRT-station. That was my first thought after arriving. But then: behind the MRT station is a nice park - and you can walk until the beach ( 2 hrs trip - on my to-do-list for my next SG-Trip). Silent place!
