For someone who is usually petrified of the dentist, I cannot speak highly enough of the amazing work Dr Sehra and his team have done to support me through getting some quite major work done. I am very happy with my teeth after the procedures they have carried out and I now see the dentist as a positive experience. The team are great at talking you through your options and for any procedure you are not comfortable with, you have the option of having a sedation to make the experience more relaxing - this was particular helpful for me when I had an implant put in. My teeth now look better than they have ever done and it’s given me a lot of confidence. If you are hesitating to get work done, go to Acorn Dental practise. I did and haven’t looked back!

I thoroughly recommend this practice and in particular Dr. N. S. Sehra and Ms Nina Khaliq. Having suffered all weekend with severe pain, Dr Sehra and Ms Khaliq cut their weekend short and saw me at 7PM on Sunday night. They were also willing and able to remove a wisdom tooth that was causing the pain.
Prior to this, I was woefully overdue a dental visit. Rather irrationally, this is due in part to poor previous experiences and allowing too much time to pass. Their treatment and care has given me the confidence to continue working with them to resolve other underlying problems. A position I didn’t think I would ever be in.

I found the staff pleasant and efficient and Dr Sehra is lovely. I would definitely go back and based on my recent experience I would recommend them.

Quick to take the money, went to charge me for a x-ray scan (£90) and then settled for the normal x-ray (£20). Initial consultation fee was agreed upon but I ended up paying £25 for antibiotics without being told. Shouldn’t be trying to take advantage of patients in emergency situations.

I went to this dentist in pain, I looked at the previous reviews and all said they were brilliant. I've been to other dentists before and omg I came out in so much pain. But with this dentist there's no pain :O. I have had a root canal = no pain and am now having a crown fitted and it's being made here and now. AMAZING. Everybody is so kind and welcoming and they explain clearly everyrhing that has happened and what they are going to do to fix it. I feel in safe hands here and they have made my dentist experience wonderful, no longer scared to go to the dentist.

Dr. Sehra and team were AMAZINGGGGGG!!! I cannot even begin to explain how happy I am with the results. I have a massive phobia of the dentist and I needed veneers to fix my battered teeth in prep for my wedding which they worked thier magic to fit me in asap. I opted for the sedation and it really helped. Even without I barely left the injections which is what i am more terrified of. I havernt smiled this much in years and huge THANK YOU to Dr Sehra for truly changing my life and giving me the confidence I lacked for so many years. 100000000000000000000000% recommend!!

Our family are long term patients and over the years have experienced many of the treatments and procedures offered by Dr Sehra and his team.
This year the teeth supporting my very old bridge developed decay problems. X-rays were taken and discussed during several professional consultations with Dr Sehra. I was given patient, unhurried and clear explanation of the alternative approaches and also the future prognosis for the rest of the upper set. With minimal bone in certain areas, individual implants both now and in the future would involve bone grafting. It was agreed that the best resolution to this and potential problems was full upper All-on-4 implants which would not involve any bone grafting.
I am a nervous patient with a bad gag reflex so you can imagine I needed to reinforce sedation with considerable support both prior to and during the procedure. The whole team were highly professional in the calm reassurance and confidence they gave me, particularly when it was decided during the procedure to add a 5th implant for extra security. In addition to Dr Sehra special thanks must also be given to Riz and Nina. My new smile is going in the gallery and this is my 5* review.

I was very lucky to partake in some work expierience after meeting Dr Sehra and Mrs Khaliq, and my time at their clinic was extremely enlightening. The facilities they use are second-to-none and their procedures are more ambitious and more rewarding than anything I'd seen before. It was a valuable expierience, and I am very grateful for the hospitality displayed by all the staff - to me and the patients. As a Year 13 student, I was very fortunate to witness a zygomatic implant procedure most dentists haven't even seen in practice. The clinic was warm, trusting and professionally assured. Nina and Dr Sehra were so helpful finding appointments that suited me as I was very keen to have the treatment done during the summer holidays. I have always been a nervous dental patient, but I have finally found a friendly practice where I feel that I am being well cared for. Dr Sehra clearly loves his work. He takes time with his patients to fully explain the treatments and he has a very gentle, reassuring manner. I have just had a crown made while I waited, and I am so impressed with both the technology and a truly superior service. Highly recommended.

I would give 0 if I could as they have extremely bad customer service over the phone which led me to contact a dentist elsewhere. They had been recommended by a family friend however the lack of customer service suggests otherwise.

I expected better things from this practice. The excellent reviews shown right here are certainly far from the experience I received. My crown needed to reattached which was done at a cost of £85. Even before this had been fitted correctly and the bite checked, the dentist was more interested in promoting his implant treatments. A day later the crown fell off. It's worth mentioning that this practice did not do the initial treatment. When I returned, I was told that the condition of the remaining tooth was the cause of this. The crown was cemented again after having my mouth stuffed with cotton and three people placing metal instruments in my mouth which in itself was an awfully experience. The fact that the receptionist had an instrument in my mouth without gloves and was not even looking at what she was doing, really angered me. During this ordeal, I raised my hand twice, trying to get them to stop as one of the instruments was causing me a great deal of pain. I was completely ignored. I am still furious 2 days later that a practice can operate in this way. Very unprofessional to allow a receptionist who is incredibly insincere to assist in a treatment room without surgical gloves and a face mask. I will be reporting them to the appropriate authority.

I went to the Acorn dentist for a check up and hygienist appointment and was very disappointed. The customer service was minimal and abrupt. When going into the dentists room I found the dentist was disinterested and couldn't wait to get me out the room, I was sent in and out of the dentists room 3 times and back in the waiting room while the dentist I assume was seeing other people. I did have a follow up appointment about a week later with the hygienist who I have to say was absolutely brilliant, she did a fantastic job and was very attentive I couldn't fault that service at all. I did find another Dentist to carry out the work on my teeth as I didn't feel confident about Acorn dentists doing the work.

I’ve just returned from a wonderful week in Italy thanks to Dr Sehra!!
The day before my departure I got a deep fracture to my back tooth!! My current dentist which I’ve been with for over 25 years couldn’t help!!!
Dr Sehra saw me within half an hour, was very clear with what had happened and the options of fixing it.
Two hours later Dr Sehra managed to save my tooth and HAPPY HOLIDAY many thanks to

My 15 year old son broke his front tooth almost completely off and it needed emergency treatment. I found Acorn Dental Care online and called them at 4pm. By 4:15pm we were at the surgery having a consultation and by 5:10pm my son had a brand new perfectly sculpted tooth! My son was so grateful and I was totally in awe of the the whole experience from start to finish. The dentist (Dr Sehra) and the dental nurse were so friendly and understanding and so professional. The result was a superb job done in a timely fashion. Couldn't recommend more highly! Will definitely be going back. Thank you immensely from Kellie and Kieron Gee.

guys, I had an emergency this night and Innova Dental was kind enough to arrange an appointment at 830pm!! long story short, this was the best treatment I received so far here in the UK!!! the doctor is explaining everything to you and you will not be disappointed!! the staff is very friendly and the practice is the cleanest I've seen by far!! very highly recommending this place without a single doubt.

The 'best' experience I've ever had at a dentist's.
I booked an emergency appointment on a Sunday morning (one of the few places open) as I was in a bad way; and was sure that I needed an extraction.
Dr Sehra was great right from the start. He took x-rays had a good chat with me regarding saving the tooth (and having a crown fitted) and made me feel safe and relaxed (v.imp at any dentist). His assistant (Nina) was also very pleasant and professional throughout.I had a crown made and fitted within 1 hr and it was one of the least painful procedures I've ever had (and I've had a few). It wasn't cheap, but it was still well worth it. Dr Sehra uses state-of-the-art equipment and is clearly both a highly-skilled dentist, and a nice man.
I'm going back in Nov for a cleaning (and maybe a filling), and I will be using him for all my future needs.
I would recommend him to my friends and family without hesitation.

I first visited Dr Sehra back in 2002 I have always feared visiting the dentists ever since i was a child, I was originally seen as an emergency due to severe pain, Dr Sehra and Nina were very reassuring and I have always seen them since, I've had various work carried out in the past and made use of the sedation offered. I also regularly visit the hygienist there who is also very good. Today I had more dental work carried out without the need for a sedation, in the past I wouldn't have been able to sit in the chair for more then 5 mins without extreme fear. On today's visit I had a crown replaced that had lasted 16 years (Dr Sehra had originally fitted it) and have to say its first class dentistry, I was able to have a new smile within just 2 hours and the results look fabulous, its amazing how much technology has moved along since my last crown, no more waiting 2/3 weeks for it to be made it's all done in just a few hours.
I would most definitely recommend Dr Sehra if your looking for a dentist who's work is cutting edge and stands the test of time.

A seamless visit from reception to seeing the dentist, to X-ray and back to the dentist, who was charming. I don't need to return but it wouldn't have been arduous if I had. One of the worst dental practice I have ever been. My Mrs went for just simple xray due to some jaw issue. They petrified us to get the wisdom tooth extracted ASAP or else it can be very dangerous. Charged us over £700, did not tell us any risk involved, within days they literally forced her in to surgery.
5 months later my Mrs still don't have sensation in half of her tounge. These cowboys permanently damageed her nerve!
Please don't be fooled by their high ratings it might be just hygiene treatment or perhaps their surgery look and feel, for anything that requires little skill, avoid them at any cost. They are just after your money.
We have learnt this lesson very hard way. DO NOT TRUST THEM!
Solicitor is already looking in to clinical negligence claim. I am not going to sit quietly for sure!

What a fantastic dentist! I had emergency treatment back in May after my own NHS dentist let me down. I called (crying my eyes out as I was in so much pain) and was slotted in within 2 hours of calling. Emergency treatment sorted by Dr Sehra (who was just so brilliant and lovely) and antibiotics given I left so much happier than when I went in. I then went back for root canal after the infection subsided and this was made so easy by the dentist who did it. Nothing hurt, he explained everything - just a nice experience if there ever could be one for root canal!
I have now registered as a patient here and had my first check up today. I am awful with xrays as I gag all the time but these were done quickly and I only gagged once as I felt so at ease. I am going back for the hygienest next week and I am sure she will be just as lovely as the rest of the doctors and nurses there.
All the staff are just lovely and I can honestly say that I have never felt so calm at the dentist. Just fantastic and I'm so pleased I have found them.

This was one of the most pleasant and wonderful service experiences. My tooth broke and I called for an emergency session. I got seen on a weekend; my new tooth was rebuilt onsite; and it was great service from reception to clinician. Nice facilities and love the fact that they fully embrace all the technology!! Recommended immediately to my family! I am already booking my next sessions if this is what a dentist visit is all about.

Being someone who has had quite a few negative experiences from dental practices i decided to try this one. Google reviews helped a lot.
Much to my surprise, I was very well looked after and informed every step of the way. Nina (who was looking after reception and helped the dentist with my procedure) was really friendly and polite and looked after me when i was in the recovering room (had x2 wisdom teeth taken out). The cost for private care was reasonable, they do offer NHS rates. I can confidently say Acorn Dental Care are now my dental practice and i would recommend them to others.

Make sure you get any quotes in writing - as they go back on their word
Booked in for Root Canal and a Crown, I was quoted a price for both treatments, which I was then not given. I was only given root canal and told to come back and pay for a crown as it was not included, my husband called up and they admitted they made a mistake and assured him again on the phone my crown would be included. I went back for the crown and they only gave me a filling, and again told me I needed to get a crown done separately. In summary, due to them going back on their word, this will now cost me twice as much as it needed to as I will now have to go elsewhere for the crown.

Fantastic & compassionate service!
After a few restless days and nights I made an emergency appointment having found Acorn maidenhead via Google. I called on a sunday afternoon and was booked in for 8am the next day, the relief that my pain was going to be taken away was almost instant.
As we drove to the surgery which was a while away from home I started to feel very nervous as I have had some terrible experiences with dentists in the past. As soon as we arrived I recieved nothing but professional and personal care.
The team were very understanding about my anxiousness and fear but made me feel completely at ease that I was in the right hands.
I started this morning a sleep deprived nervous wreck with an agonising pain in my wisdom tooth, after having a very calming consultation and sedated extraction my pain is gone and my faith in dentists restored.
It may be a half an hour drive to get there but I will be going back to the practice for future treatments

My 7 year old child had an accident whilst visiting family in Berkshire over the Christmas holidays, resulting in her two adult front teeth shattering. We phoned the NHS and they advised that we should be seen within 12 hours (this at 18:00) but none of their dentists were open till the next day.
A google search brought Acorn Dentists to our attention and a quick phone call set up an emergency out of hours appointment, giving us peace of mind!
It is always a bit of a risk finding an unknown on google but we have been incredibly lucky.
Dr Sehra was unbelievably gentle and kind to my understandably nervous child. He talked her through every step of the procedure and showed her what each instrument he was going to use did. And her teeth....... perfect! It’s almost impossible to tell the difference between her teeth as they were before the accident and how they are now, rebuilt and solid.
If we didn’t live so far away normally I’d seriously consider moving my families dental care to Acorn.
