I was fortunate enough to go to the Lighthouse in September 2019 for treatment of an 18 year alcohol addiction. From the moment I arrived I was treated with kindness, compassion and respect. The staff is invested in your recovery and do everything they can to make sure you are successful during your stay and going forward. Their Alumni program is amazing and helps you stay connected after treatment. The Lighthouse treats the whole person mind, body and soul and you will leave there with the tools you need to live free from addiction, you just have to work for them. Forever Grateful, Thankful, Blessed Kathy H.

These people took my ID and saboxone when i went in and "lost" both. Also it took four days to get my sleeping medicine correct while detoxing.

I would like to tell you guys about a one-in-a-million human being that I met through the lighthouse who has touched my heart in my life in such amazing ways that I cannot tell you how thankful I am to have met him. The only explanation I can think of is that is just a huge blessing from God to have him working in the field that he is reaching out to people to try to help them change their lives. His name is Johnny and in the world we live in today people like him are very few and far between and I can't do nothing but call him my friend and I am proud to do so! He goes so far over and above to try to help people that this job was made for him. And the knowledge she possesses it's just amazing! He is an asset to the lighthouse in every way and because of him I give this rehab five stars! Way to go Johnny I wish you all the best always and forever

Anaheim Lighthouse is by far the best facility I’ve ever had the pleasure to attend for treatment. The staff is super friendly and professional. Room and board is clean and comfortable to live in. And the treatment itself is organized with knowledgeable therapists and counselors. Two thumbs up!

Lighthouse surely is a beacon of hope for all who come here. This place has not only saved my life but played a key role in helping me and others succeed within their sobriety! The staff is genuine, caring, and go above and beyond for every single client. I’ve been to other treatment centers as well as worked for other treatments centers and nothing can compare to what I have found here at Lighthouse. Not only do they give you all the support you can get while in treatment, they have an alumni program that is far and above any other. They make sure to keep you plugged in after you go back into the real world and continue the extraordinary support they give throughout your journey. Let lighthouse become a beacon of hope in your life and we can’t wait to help and watch you grow with us!

Lighthouse is a unique blend of professional and caring. When I called my daughter was getting kicked out of a terrible treatment center in the San Fernando valley while still detoxing. The Lighthouse found her a spot and helped get her there. The staff were welcoming and helpful to me and my daughter. Without the creative caring intake person who I worked with on the phone, I dont think my daughter would have chosen to stay in a program. My daughter is now in a Sober living that the staff helped her find. And she is looking forward to an alumni gathering that is happening today. She found connection, support, & her self while in detox & residential at the lighthouse. We have been through many programs over the years and Lighthouse is one of the best. Thank you for what you do!

I am extremely grateful for the lighthouse it saved me life . The staff are amazing, and the alumni program has been super beneficial to my sobriety today. I am able to stay active and give back to the lighthouse the only way I know how which is to show up and be of service and reach my hand out to the new people just like so many did for me. I could never repay the lighthouse what they gave me. A new way of living. Thank you lighthouse staff and thank you Jo for all you do to put the alumni program together.

I love the staff. They are very professional and they really do care. Most staff are very kind but you have some that are a little harsh at times but honestly it's a very nice place to be in recovery. Food is always great the beds are good and the air conditioning works well. I didn't sleep in all the units so I can only rate mine lol but this place keeps you on your toes, and if you do well you may even get to go somewhere fun and exciting that you get nominated to go to. So follow the rules work on your recovery and be cordial and you will have the best experience you can have. I would definitely recommend this place and I have. Thank you lighthouse for giving me hope and direction.

I Went to the lighthouse Dec. 2015- Jan 2016 The lighthouse is amazing, with the Best staff. At the lighthouse I felt like the staff really cared about me and my sobriety and didn't want you there for just your money like a lot of other treatment centers. The Monday night meetings that we were taken to is where I met my sponsor that I still have to this day and I am so grateful for that God Shot. I love how to this day I can still be involved with Alumni.

I went through the Lighthouse in January-March of 2015. I didn’t go there concerned whether how the food was or if they were going to allow me to have a cell phone. If that’s what you’re looking for then you’re most likely on the wrong track...I went there with one sole purpose and that was to save my life. The Lighthouse placed the tools before me to do just that. They encourage staying connected with their Alumni program as well as seeking outside self help meetings. Since being alumni they have welcomed me back to help others and share my experience. This is a major contribution to my sobriety. Jocel among all the other staff show a real concern for our well-being upon our discharge from there. I’ve been sober since January 20, 2015 and I’m very grateful to have gone there when I did. If you’re looking to put some work into recover then this is your place.

I was fortunate to spend 4 months at the lighthouse from January to April. This was hands-down, one of the best facilities I've been to. Lighthouse breaks down recovery in digestible chunks and integrates an evidence-based clinical model including private session with an MFT or CSW. They hold you accountable for your actions and gently push you to involve yourself in your recovery. They do not coddle or baby those with addiction, yet at the same time, they are compassionate and understanding of the struggles of those suffering with addiction and alcoholism. Medication management is offered and the food is great! They also have the strongest alumni program I've ever seen. Jo Bibera, the Alumni Coordinator goes above and beyond in providing free alumni services to the Lighthouse community treatment completion. My therapist, Elena, was amazing and determined I was appropriate for EMDR therapy in adjunct to my recovery program. Thanks to the support of the Lighthouse, I am now over 7 months clean and have continued in a sober living that works closely with the Lighthouse. Hats off to Michael T., one of the best counselors I've ever had.

This place saved my life. I went to the Lighthouse in July of 2017 and it was the best decision of my life. I did my intake with Stephanie and she was so sweet and listened to everything I had to say and she genuinely cared. She offered me food and water and made sure I was comfortable as she started getting into the more personal questions about myself. I got moved to treatment where the staff explained everything that would happen in the upcoming weeks and what to expect. They made sure that I had essential items like a tooth brush, tooth paste, shampoo and conditioner. They said that if I forgot anything or ran out to let them know and they would try to provide it. My counselor while I was there was Linea, I met with her once a week if not more and went into detail about my plans for when I got out of treatment. She would check in on me throughout the day and made sure I was doing okay, and she was never too busy to not talk to me when something was wrong. The staff was always willing to talk to me if I was feeling down or just had a question about anything. They care about all their clients and want what is best for them. After leaving my life has been amazing. They have an alumni program where we get to go on outings and fellowship with one another. I get to go back every Sunday to the place I call home and interact with the current clients and give them hope for the future. If it wasn’t for The Lighthouse I wouldn’t be where I am today. My sponsor is a Lighthouse alumni. Many of my best friends are people I met while I was a client at the Lighthouse. The lighthouse is my home and the clients, staff, and alumni are my family. They are always there for me whenever I need them. Thank you Lighthouse for everything!

The light house is a turning point for those of you who are truly ready to surrender to your powerlessness in your struggles- and a great begging for those who know they need to change something but, not sure what just yet. The staff- thank you. From the admissions (Laura) to the cooks (Rocky and Sonya..etc.) from the amazing house staff and group leaders who dealt with our wild ways (Arleen, Holly, Teri, Angela, Reyna, Nedra so many more) to our AMAZING alumni and director JO, IOP with Lupe, Jolynn, Michael, Issac... so many to name that I can’t in the “ so many characters allowed in my review ;) “ . THANK YOU. Your love and hard work for the strangers that walk into the light house that leave as family- you lift us up, educate us and love us until we love ourselves or at least begin to be able to look at ourselves in the mirrors and not want to hide.... This place changed my life, gave me the tools to change my thinking... I’ve been in and out for over 10 years and had lengths of sobriety... and was fortunate enough to have my “ ah hah” moment while being blessed to be here. I met amazing women and men in recovery whom I still speak to daily and God wiling, this is my last go around in treatment. If you are open minded to the process and LISTEN to the messages the staff takes their time to teach you, and then apply it- you will benefit from the light house. I will always have a special place in my heart for the light house. Thank you everyone, I’m forever grateful!!!!

When I came to the Lighthouse I was beat down and broken. I had nowhere left to go and was out of options. When I got picked up I was told that they are my family now. I was welcomed by the staff with open arms and they could see that I needed help and love. From the minute I stepped foot on to the lighthouse they supported me and loved me in every way possible. The program is amazing from the counselors to the therapist. The support staff is amazing and really truly cares about each and every client that walks or in my case crawls through the front door. When I first arrived I was scared and not sure of what was going to happen next. They showed me around and made me feel comfortable. I was immediately provided with a BIG BOOK of Alcoholics Anonymous and was told to get to work! They have groups where you are able to open up in a safe environment and really figure out what was going on inside of me. I also had one on ones with both my counselor and therapist. The Lighthouse allowed me to find myself while being suppored the entire time! The food is amazing along with the group bonding outings they provided for me while I was a client there. I am now proud to say that I am lighthouse alumni. The Alumni program is amazing. They dont just send you away when you have completed treatment the lighthouse provides an after treatment program. There is three meetings a week for alumni members and there are events that we have twice a month along with this summer there is an event almost every weekend. We do things like go to the moster jam, angels games, beach bon fire meetings and much more! The Alumni program has helped me continue my sobriety and make friends who have turned into family. I have never seen or been a part of any alumni program like the lighthouse. Our director JO really cares and puts on amazing events for us. She really cares from her heart. I thank you lighthouse for EVERYTHING that you have done for me but most importantly helping me find myself and giving me my LIFE back.

Hi, I'm Gail. My soberity date is 10/13/17. 2017 was a rock bottom year for me. I threw away so much of my life. I was in a very dark place. All I wanted to do was die. But in a moment of clarity I asked for help and found myself at the Lighthouse. The Lighthouse gave me a 2nd chance at life. I owe my life to them. They provide an amazing treatment program with amazing therapists, counselors, facilitators and staff. Their program helped me to help myself. They also provide resources to help keep Alumni connected. They host events, outings, and meetings in a loving and caring environment. They have created something very special for us, a family! It is through the love and support of the Lighthouse that I have been able to work through the wreckage I caused in 2017 SOBER! I now have 7 months! THANK YOU LIGHTHOUSE!

The food is amazing. The staff are compassionate and understanding. Most of them have years in recovery as well. Lighthouse's rehab program is one of the most solid in Southern California. They've been around for more than a decade and have been successful at treating the disease of alcoholism and addiction. Their alumni program is evidence of that. Thank you for all you've done to help the addict and alcoholic who suffers.

The Light House Treatment Center and the staff saved my life. The staff at the center are so caring and available at anytime you need to talk to someone. The whole staff wants to see you succeed. The staff prepares you on what to expect when you get discharged. The treatment center has you on a program everyday keeping you busy. I went to big book study group (AA) out side meetings and panel meeting that come into the center. The staff prepares you to an introduction to AA. The staff touches on a higher power. The staff also goes over other things to do besides using or drinking, such as going to gym , yoga, art. The center also provides you with a therapist and consoler to give feedback and your progress weekly. The center also gives you a choice to go to the gym Monday thru Friday. The food is absolutely delicious!! The staff also provides an alumni program and support when you graduate. This is an awesome program I could go on and on. The staff is what makes this program so successful to me them caring about your success and them there for you anytime you need them. It’s a brotherhood you develop there teaching you you can’t do this alone you need help to stay sober. The center also teach you to be accountable for you actions. I highly recommend this Treatment Center James Rosedahl

I would place Anaheim Lighthouse among, if not at the top, the best treatment centers in Southern California. I have resided at several (7ea to be exact, but whose counting?) and have both good and bad examples to gauge from, however, the Lighthouse stands alone in its array of services (holistic treatment, group & individual services, etc.), quality staff, top notch meals and great follow up services (Alumini group & events). If you have the misfortune of struggling with addiction the Lighthouse is the place to start seeking long-lasting, sustainable recovery.

The Light House saved my life. The staff at the Light House are so understanding and caring. I was picked up by a staff member from a motel after spending 7 days there just slowly Killing myself from using drugs and drinking. The staff was very caring from my pick up. I didn’t feel pressured any way at all. The staff wanted me to get better and start a new way of life. I was not forced to stay I wanted to be there because all the other clients I saw were genuine happy and smiling. The staff tought me self care and to respect other people. After I was there a week I saw all clients were like a family helping one and other and only staying sober was the key thing we talked about. The staff way key to develop the foundation and family atmosphere I have today with my fellow Alumni. While I was in the light house the staff was always available if I had any issues. If I need to talk to someone I could alway find someone. The food is amazing and the beds were comfortable. We went to group sessions with a staff member and my fellow clients and we talk and I received feedback from my fellow peers on issues I was having at the time. We were kept busy all day. The staff did a great job in introducing me to Alcoholics Anonymous. The staff also did a great job in driving home that the program is a we program not an I program! That I can’t stay sobe myself. We went to outside meetings and had meetings come to us 6 days a week. We had a choice to go to gym, yoga, art. I had a therapist to talk to. We had home work to do on our sobriety issues and a game plan when we graduate. If the staff wasn’t so caring I would have left in my first week. I was at the light house for 38 days. After we graduate we have an after care program called the Alumni group. First we have someone call us to see how we are doing after a the first week of graduation. We than meet twice a week to check in on how everything is going during the week. We go on outings once a month. This is ran by Jo. She is so caring and understanding. I’m glad she does this for us. Jo shows us you can have fun in sobriety. We also can call Jo or Nolan, or Kelly to talk to if we are having any kind of issues. When I call I alway get solution to my problem. This helps me so much that I have the opportunity to talk to someone to help me through it. If I didn’t go through the light house I wouldn’t be sober today. I want to say thanks to Jo, Nolan, Jeremy, Kathy, Kelly, Manny, Shane, Jose, Johnny , CeCe, Matthew, Steve, there are so many more staff members I want to say thanks to. I’m having a hard time remembering names right now. If I forgot to mention you please forgive me. I want to thank the whole staff at the Light house for saving my life thank you!!!! I love you all!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ James Rosedahl
