5 stars - purely for Gregory Groth, who has been my provider for years. Patient and kind, super understanding to work with. If he wasn't working there, I probably would look elsewhere for treatment.

I was referred to Williamsville Psychiatry by my Primary Physician. I wanted a Psychiatrist that respected that I wanted to be an instrumental part of my treatment. I felt more comfortable with a female and wanted one that not only listened, but heard what I was saying. Most importantly, I wanted a Psychiatrist who knew that rx's was only a part of treatment and NOT the only avenue. Dr.Analett fit all of the above. Plus, she is very calm..which reflects in the way she communicates. I feel better after 6 sessions with Dr.Analett than I have 10yrs with my previous Psychiatrist, whom I should of left a very long time ago.

The doctors are Great and the staff is amazing. They understand the details of things, carefully listen and don’t make any assumptions at all. They are extremely accommodating with the changes happening and make sure you never miss a beat. They are obviously very knowledgeable. One may think this is standard but if you were ever misdiagnosed more than once you are aware of the bit of trust you lose for the practice. This has happened to me personally but this is the first time in a long time I trust everything told to me without a single doubt

I have seen a lot of negative reviews but I cannot do the same. The ladies in the front are so awesome. Love the chats and how nice they are. Love the honesty from them as well. We visit once a month and due to COVID have preferred and enjoy the phone or tele appointments. I cannot say that when we first started going there I felt the same. I hated the long waits especially for my son. Sometimes felt a bit misunderstood or unheard. I can say that Doctor Hashim did well but I really appreciate Greg now. He is super engaging with my son who is now 12. My son loves the history talks they have at their visits. He is thorough and understanding. He addresses most of my concerns. I believe that if things wouldn't have changed, I would have went elsewhere. I really enjoy the straight forward appointments. They make life so much easier. Definitely, if you are going to make an appointment, Greg is your guy. :)

Greg is great. Office staff - negative stars. For a mental health office to have such rude staff is unacceptable. It makes a bad situation worse.

My first two appointments at Williamsville Psychiatry have been TeleHealth appointments with Greg Groth. I am very happy with the care I have received. Greg is easy to talk to, friendly, and helpful. He is a very down-to-Earth guy from this area of WNY. The care plan is easy to understand and he values patient input. He explains what medications are for and how they work together, and answers my questions. He also offers suggestions to lessen side effects. He is always on time and efficient and never rushes me. There was a medication that I was instructed to take as needed, and when I decided it wasn't necessary, he listened. I feel very supported and empowered to take charge of my health and make positive changes in my life. Thank you, Greg!

Williamsville Psychiatry is the best office i have ever been to. They are very friendly and helpful and are easy to get ahold of. They are accommodating and the staff is always there to assist. The doctors are also very wonderful. I would recommend anyone who seeks help to go to them and let them do what they do best.

They are reliable, understanding, and stay on top of things. I would recommend this office anytime. Have been looking for a good psychiatrist for sometime and finally have found the best match here.

This group is the most unprofessional group I have ever dealt with. Onhold for 20 minutes to just speak to someone. No responses from Greg Groth through multiple portal emails. I had an major life change and could not get an appointment for 10 days out as a patient of the group. Could not even get a phone call or portal email from Greg Groth. During my sessions with Greg Groth he spent more time telling me about his problems. I do not have faith that he knows what he is doing. I would not recommend this group to anyone.

After being treated by my PCP for depression and anxiety along with outpatient psychotherapy and getting nowhere, I was referred to Dr. Annalette at Williamsville Psychiatry. I am so thankful to have found her. Excellent service and she got me the right medication mix on my first visit! Amazing. I am beyond satisfied.

I was switched to Fred who is a PA over there and now I wouldn’t change a thing. Staff is friendly and the service now is top quality. I’m in and out in 15-20 minutes. When I first went to the practice, I was a shell of the person I am now. Would definitely recommend.

I called to setup my first time appointment, I told the receptionist my name and she made fun of my name and laughed at me. Pretty disheartening when people are calling seeking help and they are made fun of straight out of the gate. Reading the other reviews, it seems like people’s mental illness is not taken the least but serious, especially by the receptionist. Shame on you. It took me months to work up the courage to call for help. And now I regret seeking any help.

Go somewhere else. Please. No one here cares about you, they forget your appointments and when they do remember they're 20 minutes late.

Reading the negative reviews are very disheartening, especially because this is a mental health facility, and not a restaurant or store. You shouldn’t anticipate poor customer service and quality when seeking medical treatment. I am appalled at the way my spouses case was handled. Besides the rude receptionists, my spouse ran out of medication. His last appointment was cancelled (by them, not us). We asked about sending a refill of his medication to the pharmacy, which they said they would. I went to pick it up on a Friday, and the pharmacy hadn’t received anything. Frantically, I called before they closed, and was assured it would be sent. Well, what do you know. Nothing. Now it’s the weekend, they’re closed, and he’s going on three days with no antidepressants. We contacted the office anyway, and they had an option for emergencies. We were told he would have to wait to speak to the doctor on Monday. Unbelievable. The fact this place hasn’t been sued for negligence is beyond me.

I find my experience so far at williamsville psychiatry very beneficial. If your actually serious about your mental health, and willing to put in the proper work, this facility is a great place to begin that journey to becoming the best version of yourself.

Dr Jasmine is nice. Very cut and dry to the point. The office staff is HORRIBLE. They are rude, snarky and don’t care about getting you in to see the doctors. I called to have a prescription filled and they said no unless I see the doctor which was over a week away. I was also told no to receiving counseling by the office staff when it was recomended by Dr Jasmine.

Honestly in COMPLETE DISBELIEF never in my life have I spoke with such rude and ignorant receptionists be prepared to just literally ask a question and then them give you an attitude like they hate their entire life and hate their job this practice needs new receptionists who specialize in customer service and being polite , I spoke with one nice receptionist out of all of them BY THE WAY dr Gregory is amazing literally but they make him and the practice look bad and I said what I said !!

I have been under the care of a Gregory Groth since 2/2020. He has helped me to manage my anxiety and depression to where it no longer controls me. I always feel heard in each session and that he genuinely cares about my well-being. He’s very personable and understanding so it’s easy to just open up to him and discuss things that are affecting me. I feel that I made the best decision for my mental health by linking into tx at Williamsville Psychiatry and with Gregory. If anyone is struggling with mental health, I strongly encourage you to contact this facility and to ignore any of the negative reviews because they truly are great there.

Unbelievably unprofessional and immature. Caused my gf to convulse and have to go to the ER because they refused to give her a prescription refill to last until her first appointment at a new doctor. The ER doc was appalled when she heard why my gf was there and said they should be ashamed of themselves as doctors. I wholeheartedly agree, what kind of doctor withholds addictive drugs that they prescribed to a patient knowing full well the withdrawal consequences of stopping them? Absolutely inhumane behavior, should honestly consider filing a lawsuit

Friendly, organized, professional, timely refills, short waits ect. When I couldn't find a psychiatrist, they took as a patient quickly and went beyond what any other office would do for me at the time. Still happily there as a patient.

When I used to see Dr Hashim I would wait 4 hours. It was awful. Now I see a female, Dr Al. She is great. Always always on time, listens, and cares. If I call, she responds to my messages immediately. I really like the girls at the front desk, Bonita and Tasha. Very friendly and accommodating.

I don't know why many of the reviews for this place are so poor. They were nothing but helpful to me, they listened to my concerns and provided me with the resources I need to get better. I strongly recommend anyone who is struggling to reach out to them.

Medical negligence. I cannot fathom how this place is still in business. Wouldn’t give them a single star if it were an option. There is no communication between staff members. Therefore nothing can get done. Medical negligence.

When I called to make an appointment I was straight up with reception about how awful their reviews are on google. I makes sense to see this kind of behavior among folks who aren’t up to par, mentally. Fine. I went forward with an appointment asking for their recommendation on a psych that wouldn’t drive me or anyone else to the internet to vent. I’m going on month 4 with these guys. Coming from a background in hospitality (28 years old) I pick up on little things of service such as a simple smile I receive from reception no matter the day of my appointment. It’s so important.. The specialist I see; I won’t name, but please at least call and express your concerns, nicely. If ever you feel belittled by a company remember you have EVERY right to be straight up with them. Don’t use “the customers always right either..” be practical. Be civil. If you feel apprehensive... mention the internet reviews to them as a concern for yourself. I haven’t had a bad experience here. Easy in, easy out. Easy communication.

The only reason I am not giving Williamsville Psychiatry 1 star is because, when my son eventually is seen by Dr. Hashim, he actually does get some help. However, I am never sending my son back. We've been here 7 times for appointments. Not once was he seen on time. And only once were we kept waiting less than an hour after the appointment time. Every other time it was at least an hour wait and sometimes an hour and a half!! If we were late, I would understand. But we're always on time and usually early. The first time we registered, they misspelled my son's name and got his DOB wrong in the records so it was very difficult filling his prescription the first time. On top of that, we needed Dr. Hashim to fill out a form for school and it took him over a month and a half before we got something, but it wasn't the form needed. It was a letter, not on office letterhead, with terrible grammar. We went to my son's pediatrician and got the form filled out same day! After all this, I cancelled the last appointment and we will not be going back. I was told Dr. Hashim is really busy with the offices he runs. That's fine; but get extra help or lighten your workload if that's the case. My personal recommendation is to steer clear from this office unless it is your absolute last resort.

I called to make an appointment, was told they would call me back that they were busy and could not schedule anything at that time. I waited 1 day no call back, had to call them to finally get the appointment. The first thing they have you do before they will do anything is a drug test! They wont even talk with you until this is done, never saw the doctor only the PA. Best part is the drug test is done in the public waiting room, so everybody who is waiting for their appointment knows what you are doing, then you hand the container to the receptionist, really! WTF. I had a bad feeling about the place, it was confirmed once I read all of the reviews, won't be going back there ever!

I'm very confused about the poor reviews that are left on here. I had nothing but a pleasant experience at WIlliamsville Psychiatry. The Secretary's were so wonderful and kind. I had an emergency situation with my job, and they were able to get me in on such short notice, it really saved me. When I was there I seen Dr. Diane Smith Annalette. She was so sweet and kind to me, got me exactly what I needed, and in a timely manner. While there, I noticed a couple of the patients had poor attitudes towards the very kind secretary's who held their composure and were extremely professional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This place goes above and beyond for their patients. The receptionists are friendly. Dr. Groth is a great guy, I love his vibe when you first meet him. He really cares for his patients and prescribes the right medications if need be and attends to every patient with comfort. He will listen to every word you say to him and give his best advice for you. I highly recommend Dr. Groth to anyone. Robert.

Awful experience here. Dealt with the waiting, which is no fun but not a deal breaker for me. What was a deal breaker are the following: my child's school has serious concerns about an event, when brought up to psychologist, it was never even addressed. I requested she call the school to really understand situation, said she would and never did. Sessions were in and out, never really talking about what problems may be going on, but to be fair, we weren't there very long. What made me REFUSE to bring my child back is between the pharmacy and I calling for 3+ WEEKS and spending several hours calling to get a refill on a prescription that the psychiatrist prescribed , and it still was never refilled. So my child was never weaned because that was never my intentions, and to top it off, the guy in the office I spoke with tried telling me he didn't think he was prescribed that there. YES HE WAS! IT WAS THEIR PSYCHIATRIST THAT PRESCRIBED IT! So because the was no weaning, my child had behavioral effects which was extremely stressful on our family. I do not recommend them, I never will, and I will warm others about unprofessional they are!

I have been going to Williamsville psychiatry for about two years. I have been treated great the whole time I have been here. I started out with patricia but she was always late and waiting endlessly at the doctor drives me crazy. Next I saw Greg and he was great, always on time and very friendly. My last appointment I was switched to Fred because Greg was not in the office. I liked Fred a lot also. He was right on time, asked all the appropriate questions you would expect, gave me some good advise regarding relationship issues I was having, and did not take all day. I will be going back to see Fred or Greg from now on. One interesting thing is that I have never seen a doctor here. I don't know if they have any doctors at this place but maybe they don't need them.

My fiance was referred to Williamsville psychiatry a few months ago. It was one of the scariest times in my life. We made appointment with Greg. They got us in very quickly, which was wonderful as we were both very anxious in seeking treatment. When we got there, Greg took us back in a timely fashion. When we sat in his office, you could tell that he really wanted to help. Every time we have come in for an appointment since, he's been incredibly kind, empathetic, and gone above and beyond to be sure that the treatment my fiance was receiving was effective. This man is God sent. My fiance is thriving, happy, and healthy now, thanks to Greg. His diligence changed our lives and we are so very grateful.

Very happy with Greg and he is so patient & kind. I'm going through some difficult times. I couldn't control my panic attacks and they got me in right away. The receptionist was amazing she helped calm me down over the phone. His care is definitely worth the wait. I feel understood and he explains any medication he prescribes. I would recommend working with Greg to anyone going through a difficult time.

The office itself is too small to handle the volume of patients. Wait times are unbelievable. The doctors seem barely invested in the well-being of their patients; my doctor thought I was a new patient and it was my third visit to the office. They ask you the same basic questions over and over again (like the medications you're on, even after they've filled your prescriptions).I have been without treatment for months because of an insurance problem they only told me about when I went to schedule my FOURTH appointment (no prior notification). I wish I could give them zero stars. Do not go here.

IF YOU ARE TRULY LOOKING FOR HELP WITH MENTAL HEALTH, DO NOT GO HERE!! I didn’t see them personally but my fiancé has been looking for a new doctor since our daughter was born 2 years ago. He was on adderall to treat his ADD for FOUR YEARS and it worked great! Since his previous dr kicked him out for being late, he’s been bouncing around different doctors being told left and right that he is drug seeking, finally ending with GREGORY GROTH. He immediately put him on propranolol, bupropion, and trazodone for ADD, anxiety, and trouble sleeping. The trazodone helped his sleep slightly but that’s it, propranolol didn’t affect his ADD, but made him instantly more agitated, as is a common side effect. He told dr groth that it made him agitated but didn’t really help, so dr groth INCREASED his dose of propranolol. That cycle continues for his next 2 visits, causing him extreme agitation and anxiety in our home life. Then groth tries to tell him he is depressed because he has problems concentrating. Not like that can be caused by ADD or anything crazy like that. To clarify, I am depressed and very familiar with the signs of depression, and he is not depressed. Anxious and aggressive when he takes propranolol? Yup! So dr groth finally tells him he will not give him adderall and tells him ‘every now and then we have drug seekers come through here’ so not outright calling him a drug seeker but definitely calling him a drug seeker. Now this is for dr groth, Incase he’s reading: JUST BECAUSE YOUVE PRESCRIBED THE SAME THING FOR 12 YEARS, DOES NOT MEAN IT WORKS FOR EVERYONE. LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS!!! PEOPLE ARE NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL WITH SYMPTOMS OR REACTIONS. YOU HAVE ADDED SOOOO MUCH UNNECESSARY STRESS TO OUR ALREADY STRESSFUL LIVES. I HOPE YOU LOOSE YOUR LICENSE TO PRACTICE!!

Stand-up place. I've seen a really wonderful turn-around in quality from this practice. The new office is beautiful and staff is always very friendly and really seem to care. There used to be long waits at the old building, but it's really quick now with the new Doctors on staff and their new management team. Overall I'm glad I chose this practice and would recommend it to friends and family.

After 1 visit I knew I wasn't going back. The incompetent office staff tried to hit me for a $250 co-pay! Ridiculous! I knew that was a deductible, not a co-pay. They hit me for more than they should have anyway but I paid it just to get out of here. Then my ins co pd in full. Now I can't get them to refund my $. It took them 2 days to cash my check and it's been over 2 months trying to get my $ back. All I get is the run around when I call. I actually think they have me on caller ID now so that when I call they just tell me the ofc mgr is not in. I don't know what to do next. Better Business Bureau? Glad I didn't give them $250 they tried to scam me out of!

If I could give this practice less than one star I certainly would. I realize that Dr. Hashim spreads himself way too thin, but if he can't handle his practice at Williamsville Psychiatry, he should give it up. He and his staff do not return phone calls regardless of their importance. They also ignore/forget appointment times and critical medication refills. I highly recommend that you find a doctor who actually has time to give you or your loved ones the proper care.

Staff are not professional at all. They thought they had me on hold while they were literally making fun of their patients using their clear names, first and last, violating HIPAA regulations. The psychiatrists are biased against the patients they will and will not take. Do not go here.

Horrible office. Longest wait times I have ever encountered in my life. I have waited 1 hour and 40 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. The reception staff is the WORST staff I have even encountered in my ENTIRE LIFE. They are rude and extremely unprofessional. They roll your eyes at you and huff and puff. Constantly rescheduling your appointments and then will not refill your medications until you are seen even though they pushed back your appointment past your fill date. I am happy to say I have found a new office that is taking new patients that handles things correctly.

Dr AL what a joke! First time patient after not even a 10 minute conversation ,while she filled out my chart. I was told she would never give me my medication I have been on for 10 years. ZERO conversation about a string of new medications and roller coaster she wanted to put me on. When I was so bold to even ask why or what her plan would be, I was pointed at the door and told I could take the meds she wanted to give me or get out. Stay away and find a better doctor that understands you have a right to discuss your health and a treatment plan !!!!

It's too bad that an office of this nature, which serves such an important role in a community, is this bad. Streer clear, you'll only end up changing doctors in a few months because you'll become frustrated as well. This many reviews arent wrong. Would give 0 stars if it was possible.

Never call back, wait times take forever. Waited over an hour for my appointment when i was ON TME and wasn't even apologized to for my time. Was having serious health issues due to meds she put me on, and she told me none of those symptoms were associated w this med i was on even though i went to 3 other doctors who told me the meds were causing my sleep sweats, extreme exhaustion, fainting, cortisol drops and raises, messing with all of my levels and I'm still suffering from these pills even weeks after taking them. Ill be looking for a new office shortly. I gave many chances and Im just sad such an important important field has such a poor office.

Drs are nice and professional! I didn't have a problem! Longest I waited was an hour to be seen. It's not uncommon to have to wait to be seen they are specialist and your not the only patient. Maybe someone is having a crisis and needed more time! Learning to be patient is something that should be worked on if your coming to Google to leave a bad review about having to wait. Long wait times doesn't make a DR a bad DR because you had to "WAIT".. And you shouldn't be calling someone unprofessional for cussing, while your not having manners because your special having "anxiety" and can't wait!!! <<< Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? Try and remember your no more entitled to a shorter wait time than anyone else whether you have BPD, bipolar, or anxiety!!! Change starts with you!!! <<<<
