Visited to buy some original Xbox games. Waited a very long time, say 30 minutes, for the discs to be found and for payment to be taken. Seemed incompetent to me. Not only is that too long but, given the pandemic, it poses an unnecessary risk to customers who really want to be in and out as quickly as possible. Like many other shops, people seem to be free to walk in with no masks and with no attempt to ask them to leave.

The worker tamy or tami is always nice and respectful to me and alway give me a good suggestion on item. When I ask for the disc to be check, she give me the best one in her opinion and never complain about anything.

Very nice store with friendly staff. Went to sell my old phone in there, the que time was reasonable. The guy looked over the phone and as I knew I would need to come back so they can test the phone, asked how long and the guy said 30 minutes, which was great. Went away and came back with my receipt they had it ready and told me how much I would get for the phone. The whole process was very straight forward and overall a very good experience.

Went to sell my air pods. Staff gave me a price, and after 20 mins of waiting for it to be tested, they charged me 5.99£ for a charger or offered the option to go and buy a 1£ charger from Poundland ( after waiting 20 mins in the shop, instead of offering the poundland option in the first place) , I still did not agree with the final sum but then seller said I was OK with the 5.99£ charge? Putting words in my mouth. Very rude for not taking responsibility for their own mistakes!

This place used to be amazing. Great staff! (Nothing to do with me working there or anything ????) anyway went in the other day and apart from music blasting the dreaded N word it was still great. Served by a very friendly and talkative member of staff. Reminded me of the good old days. Keep it up fellas!!!

I have been to over 30-40 CEX and this is the worst one I have ever been too, staff are slow and a couple of the girls were very rude which is a shame because the selection of games is one of the best I have seen from a CEX and it's not just this one time this has happened, it's happened everytime I have gone here! I would recommend this place if you really couldn't go anywhere but stay away from here and go to a different CEX.
Edit: I would like to thank the owner's response, I can try dig up the receipt but it's under alot of the others I visited.

BE CAREFUL - THEY WILL MIS SELL YOU ITEMS. CHECK THEY ARE SELLING THE PRODUCT AS PER LABEL. IN MOST CASE THEY WRONGLY LABELLED ITEMS. In our case we're extremely disappointed with the recent purchase from this store. The staff at CEX store in Lewisham Shopping Centre have mis-sold me twice. The labels in this store are wrongly labelled. Staff don't check their product is correctly labelled before they sell it to you.

Bought an I pod classic took them 20 minutes to find it my husband found it in the window it cost me £110 got it home my son charge it for 2 hours still not working took it back to the shop for a refund to be told they had no money this is on a Saturday afternoon and to come back in an hour which we did to be told they still had no money to take my phone number and they would ring me on Sunday between 1-2 and definitely have my money yet again my husband went down there to be told once again no money what a bunch of THIEVES!!! so I still don’t know when I will get my money ?

They said they don't have cash which I don't mind (judging from other reviewers, they seem to never have cash).
Overall, if you exchange high value items, then best to be ready to accept voucher only.
Everything else (customer service etc) is adequate.

Came into this store today as my friend wanting to buy a game. Must say wasn't impressed with the customer service 4 at the desk with only one servicing when there were a queue of people waiting. Eventually was serviced by a guy named shuayb (what said on the receipt) when serving no eye contact at all with the customer. Looked down the whole time. Have to say all the staff looked miserable they looked like they didn't want to be there. I would never step foot on here again . I find some of their things over priced I can get a better deal on line.

Been using Lewisham branch since it opened and CEX in general as a company for years just walked out of the Lewisham branch and must say as a general rule its always been a retailer with you staff but current crew (today's staff on duty of wich there were 5)were very good! Nice atmosphere great work please keep it up!

Tried to sell my Xbox, left it for testing for 5 days. They lost my cables and didn't test it.
Probably best not to sell your console at this branch.
Keep to selling games or DVD's. The staff seem a bit more capable at the simpler things.

The worst service ever I bought a laptop what it was 8 GB ram .i3.1TB and when I checked it it was 4 GB ram I platinum. And whe I got back to ask why that happen they told me to pick up another laptop in same price or to give me a voucher what it was my money in I selected another laptop and that one had a broken screen just terrible customer service...
