I want to like this shop, especially since the staff are so lovely. But ultimately it's such a small shop and doesn't have as great a range of items as other branches. My rating is purely because of the limited range.

Amazing customer service. The waiting time is way less than the one in Lewisham branch, much cleaner and much more organised. The staff knows what they are doing. I'm so glad I popped in after a terrible experience in CEX Lewisham. Thank you Min for the good experience. The staff deserves a promotion.

Customer service is terrible they cannot answer a straight question. You can get talked at for a long time without having your question answered. Most of the time I go in there I just get wound up with Kung or his mate and decide to sell my phones on ebay because it is usually less hassle than dealing with Kung or his mate and I get more money but it does take longer to walk to the Post Office. If you have a choice go to Lewisham CEX and avoid the Kung experience...

Pleasantly surprised ,a massive difference between this branch and the Lewisham one staff were actually friendly and helpful , generally much more professional as you'd expect of a business unfortunately not all cex stores operate to this standard .

They made up excuses and downgraded to B grade and make sarcasm remark. I went into another branch afterward and they provide 5 stars customer service, they tested and said it was indeed an A grade and everything is in mint condition.
Overall trading/exchange in this Deptford store is just going to be disappointment for many if the store owner don't want your devices, they just make up a excuses/story to get rid of you. In my case, the excuse they give was my phone suffer some vibration problem but cannot explain in detail.

I went in to sell my old phone, boxed with charger, was told it would be Grade B. Went back after 30 mins after they tested, another guy came out and said they can't take it as there is a small chip at the corner of the screen. (Note: Did not even offer me Grade C or below.) I'm guessing he was the owner of this franchised store and did not want to accept it. Gave an excuse about the warranty they have to give to the person who buys this phone. What about the huge amount of money they make from reselling 1 item alone? It is okay to buy every item from people at 1/3 cash price and resell at nearly full market price?
I've been using CEX (Computer Exchange) with my family since the second branch at Rathbone Place, and this is by far one of the worst branch I've visited in terms of the service. If I was a mystery shopper for the headoffice I would rate the experience of this visit 0 score.
-Update- 31/03/2019 Took my phone to Lewisham branch and there was no problem with them taking it in.
I will avoid the Deptford branch going forward.
