I've had a bad experience in this shop as I was in there get my dogs groomed as I was there I thought I would get my kids a new hamster but the customer services I got of very bad to say that a cage they sale on there shelf are not good for the animal and the only way I can get a hamster if I buy a new cage from them I will be reporting this to the trade and standards.

Compaion care vets are the best steph,ben, and the gang go over and above. Even Bambi,Abby and Radar enjoy visiting most of the time.

I use this one over the Reading branch due to this one having a greater selection of small animal toys. Lots of treats, toys, hay and different types of food. Some items are a bit overpriced compared to internet competitors but others are cheaper- you can get vouchers as well. Click and collect is quick from this store.
Has a vets and a groomers inside. Also has plenty of parking close to the store.
Just wish the rats were kept in a bigger cage.

Terrible staff! Completely unhelpful. I asked for advice as our son wanted a pet fish so we needed to buy a tank etc. I left knowing less about how to get and look after a fish!!! I'm still none the wiser but completely frustrated!
My advice would be to go elsewhere.

Not impressed at all with the vets, took my pet there a couple months ago because of bald patches. The vet then said he had mites but didn't give him a treatment. I then went to another vet and they said it might be mites but they aren't completely sure, yet they still gave me treatment for it. At the same time the other vets said that he might have cushings disease but if the vets at pets at home already found that out it would have been treated by now. Now he's been put down because the vet at pets at home thought he just had mites. Also stopped selling the food I was feeding him and I had none left, so I couldn't change his food it the proper way but it's ok, he died before I needed to do that anyway.
