The people working there are friendly enough, however grossly understaffed. Had a tyre fitting booked for Saturday, turned up on time but was told I couldn't get my tyres changed as they were understaffed. Would've been nice to call me in the morning to save me the trip, wasted an hour of my life. Rebooked for the following day, staff numbers seemed to be the same.

Took car for MOT it was due in at 14.30 and they didn’t start it till 14.45 and after the car was finished they just left me sitting in the waiting room, so I went to the front desk after about half hour and said about my car, he just went and got the paperwork out of the back office, so the car had been done for ages, so why did no one come and tell me it was ready, so all in all I was there for 2 1/2 hours in total for something what takes an hour

MY Advice is to you all, Please don't use them, I have used it thought they are cheap but you will end up in kind of my situation. I booked appointment still they took 3.5 hours to change 4 tyres and kept you in the cold waiting area. After fixing took m vehicle and started driving on motorway it was shaking very badly. Then contacted them again and took my vehicle to check the balancing again. Another 2 hours waiting they said balancing is fine but some thing else is a problem but after they check balancing it was driving fine and realised a scratch on my bumper. I reported this, they said they will investigate and come back but 12 days after no one contacted when I called them the branch manager said they are very busy that's why not contacted. But they didn't damaged the car. DO NOT USE THEM.

Made a booking for four new tyres to be fitted at 9am, arrived at 8.45am and they said there would be a slight delay untill 1pm for them to fit my tyres, so I left my car with them. I called at 1.45pm and they said they still haven't fitted them but my car would be going in to get them fitted within the next 15 minutes, I then hadn't had a phone call and the time now is 3.30pm, so I turned up at the garage at 3.45pm to collect my car and still no new tyres fitted !! So I have cancelled the order and going elsewhere to get new tyres as these are USELESS! !

Second year in a row I have used this garage for my service and mot. I am always met with very friendly gents behind the desk. Never feel out of place in a 'blokes domain. My MOT was done super fast and the issues clearly explained and every item gone through. At no point did I feel like I was being charged for unnecessary work. It felt like they were telling me to do what had to be done and at some point the rest needed to be looked at. I am more than happy to recommend formula 1. The customer service is exceptional and the work done is of a high standard. Thanks:-)

Booked vehicle in for master service after I noticed steering wheel wobble on hard breaking. With a pregnant partner and a little one on board vehicle breaking is a must . After reading that a 27 point safety check list should have been carried out on suspension and brakes as part of the master service I felt this was the firm to use. After 8 hours I was called to collect my car but couldn't make it back to the branch 20 minutes before closing. I arrived Sunday morning to collect my car the same braking fault still present with no advisory of work needed to rectify. And in the process of this. The branch has broken my vehicle key. Instead of informing me like any honest person would they took it open themselves to super glue back together making it even more difficult to mend and repair .I would advise all family and friends to avoid this branch . Zerot stars if I could .

Friendly, efficient and very welcoming. I was just under an hour early and the gentleman saw to my car instantly. Before I knew it, I was on my way with 4 new tyres. The manager was explaining that he has just updated the website to include booking slots, I found the process very straight forward and this made things easy for me to alter my hours and know I would get seen to once I arrived.

I visited "Formula One Autocentre" to have my MOT done. All was fine, apart from the fact that I was told I urgently needed the tyres changed as the depth of the tread was at its legal limit. Luckily I went elsewhere to get the tyres changed, "Supertyres Luton and Dunstable", and there they were completely honest with me that only one tyre needed changing as it was only near legal limit, the rest of the tyres were almost brand new :) Saved me a lot of money. Thank you Supertyres :) Will definitely be back.

187 ones worth of damage done to the car after being here Broke a tyre pressure sensor which they tried to blame on me Went to get this replaced at main dealer and the main dealer and they inspected damage and agree that tyre service done the damage and the balancing was rubbish they used old lead to balance double up on stick in ones so when tyre was taken off the weights fell off too Left mess all over wheels Manager denies all knowledge of damage called the care line and after the first two calls ignored my calls till I changed numbers then they answered Have now put a claim into the courts to get my money back Do not use they will cost you more money

Firstly, the people here are great. They are very genuinely polite, approachable, & just want to to get the job done well which is most important. Secondly there is a comfortable, warm room with tv & a coffee machine for you if you are waiting for you vehicle. I was kept abreast of progress throughout. I had two tyres on the rear of my Wife's car which the team swapped to the front for me7, what could be better. The only suggestion I might add is to establish what tyre pressures each Customer's tyres require, & fill them accordingly. I will be very pleased to return & have tyres fitted on my own car soon. Thanks everyone at the Dunstable Branch!

I had two rear tyres changed at F1Autocentres. They are okay, friendly staff, good price for tyres and offer a price match service which is reassuring. The day I went was a bit all over the place though. They at first were unsure whether my tyres had arrived even though I received a confirmation email to come at the booked appointment, so I waited for a while whilst they checked. An apology was made straight away as to there being a delay on the time my tyres could be replaced (instead of the booked 12:15, they said it would take two hours for them to replace the tyres). They started at 14:20, It was 15:10 by the time my car was ready. To be fair they said they were busy but would have been nice to be contacted to bring my car later if necessary. They are an okay garage, maybe I just caught them on a busy day.

This was the first time I used Formula One and am very pleased with the service. The price for their tyres is extremely competitive, in fact their price including fitting was only a couple of pounds more expensive than the online supplier I have used before and their price does not include fitting. I like the idea of booking a slot to have your tyres fitted, it takes the uncertainty out of "How long will I have to wait". I will be using Formula One again when my wife needs new tyres for her car.

tyres and brakes services great, do not take car for more major works as they say will be able to do and then, almost 6 weeks later still have my car. O e week it was Dutch a person on hol, next week waiting for a part. I rang the parts garage which is next door to the garage and they said the part was on the shelf from last week, next week it was Ramadan and 2 men where off because of this still waiting for my car back. You have to ring and ask I had to ask could I get a weekly update as if this is a lot to ask for. I have been taking my cars to this garage for several years.

Booked car in15 minutes early for one tyre to be changed. Advised it would be an hour due to staff shortage. Went for walk and returned after 1 1/2 hours work had not started, eventually ready 2 1/4 hours after leaving car. Not the fastest for changing a tyre as a F1 pit stop. But if short of staff and excessive waiting time should at least give refreshments ( coffee) to help pacify customers?

Had a half price mot like always with this sort of deal they seem to find stuff wrong and not other stuff that was put as an advisory last year so believing what that put down as being wron with my car is very hard to believe.seems like they offer a half price mot to get you to go there and then sting you with a huge list of faults some that probably don’t even need to be done .not impressed at all

UPDATE: Despite contacting the "care team" almost a month ago I have had no response / contact. Customer service nil. My first experience here was being quoted for wheel alignment, came back an hour later to pick up my car and was charged £15 more than the quote, I queried this and despite saying he thought it was wrong he didn't apologise nor query it himself to begin with. Benefit of the doubt, figured it was a simple mistake so the next time was for my wife's car to have some remedial work done, this time the mechanic broke a part while removing it from the car and then we were charged to replace it. I made a complaint about this as my wife isn't the sort to say anything or argue these things and I was assured on the phone this isn't the norm there, they don't make a habit of trying to overcharge people and hope I will continue to use the branch which at the time I was adamant I wouldn't. Despite reservations I figured not much could go wrong with having new tyres put on and used the same branch once more, The same evening I noticed one of the new tyres was quite low or seemingly going flat, then I noticed that no dust valve caps had been refitted either so I pumped the tyre up and purchased a pack of dust cap valves, no big issue. I then went to work Friday and upon leaving to come home I noticed the same tyre was completely flat, I don't have a spare wheel, just a run flat kit which would then deem my brand new tyre useless and need replacing once more. Luckily there is a garage close to my work who kindly sent someone to come and see if they could fix the problem there which they did, they found the valve stem core to be the issue as it was letting air out the whole time, although slowly. This cost me more money to have fixed (I was 24 miles away). Completely incompetent, will never use again.

Ordered my tyres and made the fitting appointment online. Tyre price was very competitive to other tyre companies online. I turned up at the Dunstable branch at my appointment time to find the staff were very helpful and friendly and started working on replacing my tyres straight away with no waiting delay.It was overall a very pleasant experience and I would definitely return again in thefuture. I would recommend anyone else to use the excellent service they provide.

Fantastic service at the Dunstable depot. First used F1 when kwik fit had quoted me £378 for a new exhaust, F1 in Luton checked for me and said there was nothing wrong with my exhaust. Two years on, with both MOT's performed by the Dunstable branch, and exhaust still going strong. Thank you Glen, you are an absolute gent, and a pleasure to deal with.

First of all, my appointment was scheduled for 3:30 PM on Saturday last week. I arrived 15 minutes earlier but my MOT was not started till 15 minutes to 4 PM. Paperwork states it was tested at 4:21 PM but I had to actually wait till 15 to 5 PM for to receive my paperwork. They apologised due to technical issues it took this long. Nevertheless, whole process took more than 2 hours. In addition, MOT was presented as fail and serious major issues raised and a whole long list of advisories presented to me. I was recommended that I have to prepare myself for a serious service of my car that might cost up to £500.00. Trusting convincing words of F1 employee (whom name I cant remember but he works at reception) I left my car for further assessment and final quotation. This person called me on Monday 9th in morning and informed me that repair of my car for to be able to pass MOT would cost up to £600.00. Later that day afternoon I went to the centre to collect my vehicle. My car was still placed on the ramp and this person made sure to point fingers through the holes that were addressed on MOT report as a definite fail. He explained car to be requiring extensive repair that need intensive labour due to car seat removal and that was a reason why quote is so high. I explained to him that car was serviced in a different centre in November 2017 and mechanic (whom I know very well and is a trusted person) picked up no such issues . It seemed very strange to me that such extensive holes (four of them) would appear in very short period of time. He then recommended he was very familiar with Ford KA issues and rust problem and that he had seen many of such cars scrapped due to extensive corrosion. He suggested to buy this car from me for parts as according to him his girlfriend had a Ford KA. This seemed very suspicious to me as he gave me his personal mobile number (which you can see written on the scanned card). He said to get in touch with him if I change my mind from scrapping it. On that same Monday evening I left your centre and decided then to take my car to same mechanic that serviced my car last year . I wanted to hear his opinion . He informed me on Tuesday morning that car was serviced and passed MOT and total value of that was £185.00. I had such a relief hearing that as I was prepared lo lose my car to a scrap yard! Later on Tuesday evening I went to collect my car and mechanic advised that : 1. One of holes that was addressed as a fail in your MOT list wasn't structural, it was part of the door, it should had not been failed. 2. Rust was a surface rust and all the holes that were addressed as fail or advisory looked as forced in by a tool. 3. Tyre worn to legal limit was a false advisory on your MOT report as 3 mm is way above legal limit which is actually 1.6 mm, so by 1.4 mm above legal limit!!! 4. No oil leak detected, no break fluctuation, actually my MOT passed without advisories in a different centre. After all of this investigation it makes me to believe that F1 in Dunstable is a SCAM central. Employee who worked at reception on that Saturday morning and Monday evening this week and his colleague S. Miah, who inspected my car on Saturday, are using people vulnerability and damage their cars in order to gain their own benefit. They compile big lists of issues with cars to make people (and in this case myself) worried , to believe it is beyond salvageable. He was also brave enough to approach me with a private number. You should be aware of people acting this way and working in your company as this definitely destroys your reputation and image. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will make sure to share my experience for people to stay away from there. Finally, I know prices may vary between garages but difference with another place , where I had damage to my car repaired and MOT carried out is obvious! It is very clear to me what F1 employee was trying to do. Damaged my car for his own profit and made me waste over £200.00 on MOT!
