Customer service was very good. They were ready for me when I arrived and started work straight away. I paid for 4 tyres and 4 valves but they only replaced 1 of the valves leaving 3 old ones in place. The tyre pressures were also set wrong. They should have been 30psi all round but one was 35psi, another 33 psi and 2 at 32.5psi. Disappointed with being ripped off with the valves and wondering if the steering alignment was carried out correctly due to the valves and pressures not being done correctly.

My last visit to Formula One Autocentres hasn't gone too well, took my car in for a short service and unfortunately they appear to have only done half the job I paid for. Went to check my oil level the morning after the service and having only drive a few miles back from the garage to find the old oil still in the engine. Thought I might be imagining things so checked the undertray bolts and the oil filter house, neither have been touched. Even if they sucked the old oil out the filter housing show signs of being removed and replaced. Complained but heard nothing back, so after many years of using them I've decided not to give them any more business. Plenty of decent mechanic out there who do the job they're paid to do.

Booked an MOT online at a very reasonable price compared to most other MOT garages Took my car at the required time and came back an hour later and it was ready with all the paperwork. No fuss and really efficient. Excellent service . Thank-you.

Great on price but made to wait over an hour from appointment start before car was even moved to be looked at. Appointment was at 14.40 car finally moved from car park at 3.15 then finally finished around 4pm for 2 tyres not great service and no explanation or urgency from those working there

Not up to previous high standards. When you bring your car in to the depot and ask for the tyres to be checked, you do not expect a technician to just check the tyre tread depth, I expect the car tyres to be inspected on the ramp so any uneven wear etc. can be found.

Booked online for new tyres on my van got to the f1 Dunstable branch only to be told my van had to be empty of all tools because there jacks could not take the weight there wasn’t that much in it . Staff told me to go home and empty the van, I thought this was a pathetic excuse as I have never been told this before, nothing on the website says empty the van. Surly they must lift vehicles heaver than mine. Will definitely NOT go back to this garage

Very unsatisfied with the service. Went for Master service but car has become so much less smoother than before the service. They gave us a heavy quote for extra work that needs to be done but seems like they haven't even performed the service properly. When we went back to understand why the quality of driving had deteriorated, they didn't want to take any responsibility and said we haven't touched anything. Complete waste of money and time. Not recommending or using their services again.

Booked in time was 1100 advised to arrive ten minutes before so I arrived 1045 hrs to be met by a pleasant chap who said they were running a bit late. 1210 my car was moved and at 1230 my car was brought back parked on the path out side the garage window fully down and left unlocked the tyre was fitted ok but I was not happy with the service or disregard for my vehicle

Not very well. I have been using F1 Auto for many years now and have been satisfied with the service albeit slow a times. I ordered 4 new tyres to be fitted on 11.07.19. I arrived at 8.50hrs for a 09.00hrs appointment, I had to wait till 10.45hrs (1hr 50m) for the work to be completed, mot unsatisfactory. I told the receptionist how disppointed I was with the service. I will now consider other companies before going back to have work carried out. This experience is most unlike F! Autos.

Absolutely shocking service my son took his car in and they said his clutch had gone and numerous other things so we decided to take it to another garage just to confirm the diagnosis! The garage said there is absolutely nothing wrong with his clutch! This so called garage is clearly conning people out of money as you might of seen by previous reviews! Will never use again and will definitely be telling everyone about them! Shocking

Took car in for Dunstable at 10.30 they rang an hour later saying a machine had broke and could not do mot , could not book another day they said they can book for 13.30 in mk drove there they new nothing about it , Dunstable had booked it for a week later , luckily mk managed to fit me in but had to wait from 13.30 till 17.30 when it was ready , thanks for sorting Milton Keynes but no more going back to Dunstable they have messed up too many times now

Never Again Dunstable shop is a Nightmare!!!! I return there with my car after having warning battery light coming on & off on the dash for few days. I was convinced that is alternator and since my alternator was on warranty I had to go back there, First they change my battery but worming light was still on and they give me car back telling me that they check everything and everything is OK and if my light will be still on after a week I should come back and they will look in to it. I went with my son to the movies and my car die on me :( Next they swap my alternator that didn't help as well so I been told to call electrician because they don't do electric I booked myself mobile car electrician he turn up outside my house and in five minutes he found fault cable next to battery was snapped they took out that battery at list 4 times and no one was able to see hanging off cable next to battery I wasted week having my car there That guy fix my car in 15 minutes AND BEST OF ALL I HAVE TO WAIT DON'T KNOW HOW LONG FOR BATTERY REFUND BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO SENT ME A CHECK INSTEAD PUT IT BACK ON CREDIT CARD

Booked in for tyre to be fitted. Arrived at agreed time, on arrival was told they had phoned to cancel as machine had broke. Neither myself our my wife had received any call ( no missed calls either ). Was promised a call the next day to confirm new appointment. No call received so went down to garage . They said the machine was still broke that's why they didn't call ??? Being an appointment had been made to return next day, surely they should have called ? I insisted they use machine next door to fit my tyre, this had been mentioned the day before. Anyway I would not recommend this garage for tyre fitting.

Booked in for brake pads at 9am, arrived on time only to be told hadn't been ordered, but they would order then and to come back at 12. Arrived back at 12 and sat in a smelly dirty waiting room, rubbish over the floor, overflowing bin. My vehicle was left sitting outside for until 1.15 before they took it inside to start working on it. An hour later I was informed that one of the calipers had seized, so they couldn't fit the new pads, and was asked for an extra £250 for a new caliper before the pads could be fitted. Told them just to put back how it was, which only took 5 minutes. I took car elsewhere and pads were changed, no problems.

They were helpful with great advice from Alex regarding the safety of my wheels , it passed MOT and i acted on the advice he gave me for my future safety, it all made sense. Rarely do you get a garage that not only does the job but obviously cares as well.

Outstanding experience. Very professional staff and the most friendly customer service I have ever encountered. I had a worrying engine management fault which was rectified in minutes, and they gave a reassuring explanation as to the fault. As it was such a simple rectification, they would not accept payment. This is the only company I will trust with my car in future, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone.

As my ordered all 4 tyres change goes that would get 3 stars, guys working on car know their stuff, manager, on another hand, he doesn't make good impression, is slow, acting surprised when it isn't place for it, I found all his performance unprofessional, convinced me, and this is my own stupidity and naivety to change rear brakes on my car that didn't need doing, extra 550£ don't be like me, trust your guts if you visiting Dunstable branch, don't agree to any extras then and there before you get that claim verified by another garage. I won't be coming there again

Car has just had mot elsewhere .and decided to have a service . They told me it needed loads of work to be done £500 worth . Most of the items would mean the car would have never got through an mot.. when I challenged the so called manager he was embarrassed and did not know what to say. As I left another customer was waiting and was he had to wait another hour . And he said he had a slot booked for tyres and the manager said you can wait as we are busy . There was no cars in and he had sent one lad to get him McDonald’s and I heard him say sod him he can wait . Will never use the place ago and will tell other people.

Despite booking and paying for an appointment and tyres, nearly a week in advance and them having received over £230, I was told they were short-staffed and that I needed to re-book. They put me in the following day. At least I had decent service on the Sunday and was in and out on time in 45 minutes with no problems. The temporary manager from the Biggleswade garage was friendly and also bemused as to why the original appointment needed rebooking from the previous day as the staffing was less if anything.

Arrived at 09.20 for a 09.30 appointment 05/07/19 and was told i would have to wait 1hour for my tyre change as an emergency had come in and they had no space on the ramps. When i returned an hour later they told me i had to wait a further hour which is totally unacceptable as id only taken a couple of hours off work. They finally finished my tyres at 11.45 and they did not carry out the free 10 point check as promised on the order confirmation. I have always used Blackcircles but on this occasion i thought i would give Formula One Autocentres a go but this really poor service has left me no choice in the future but to return to my previous supplier and i have had to let my family know my bad experience as they to were thinking of trying FOA.

Went to formula 1 on Saturday to have a new tyre fitted I told the member of staff who I found to be rude that the tyre was to be fitted offside front after about 1 hour wait I was told my car was ready went outside to inspect the job and found they have fitted the new tyre too nearside front went back in to inform the rude member of staff don't know his name that they fitted the tyre onto the wrong wheel he snatched the keys and said I will correct the job after about another half an hour the job was completed will not use formula 1 again bad service bad staff, don't go there.

I took my car for a service recently at Dunstable formula one. I received a phone call from the hospital later that day asking me to attend 5pm. I called to ask if my car can be ready for 4pm the latest. Glen wasn’t sure but I was happy to leave my car there overnight so they can complete the job. He called me later on and told me that the car will be ready for 15.00. So I went to collect it and it wasn’t ready. At 15.30, he said that they are struggling to switch the service light off. I was happy to leave my car there and come back. He demanded that I will take the car and bring it back tomorrow as it only takes 5 minutes. When I came out of the hospital on next day, I called him. He said he will not do it today as it takes 45 minutes now to do. I was very unhappy as yesterday he said that it only takes 5 minutes. My partner was on the phone when Glen told me that he struggles with the service light. I went in and Glen was very rude and raised his voice. He said he will not do it. I explained that I am unable to attend any other time as I work long hours and weekends too. I will not recommend them as they don’t complete the job that you paid for properly and they just make up excuses and don’t want to do it. Today James came out to my work and it only took 3 minutes to switch the service light off. I was driving home from work and I’ve heard some scratching noise. I have checked eventually and realised that the metal panel under the engine was loose. If it fell off during driving, it could have caused an accident. I am not very happy as I consider this as negligence. Now I don’t have a car to get me to work. I paid lots of money recently there for the service and the MOT and the break pads change. I will definitely not return. Even my partner cancelled the service and we will go elsewhere. I emailed the head office but no response yet. I want this fixed immediately and I am looking for a compensation. Otherwise, I will take a legal action for all this negligence.

Dunstable Branch - Superheroes don't wear capes and Peter & Glen certainly don't, but they were brilliant with me. Lone female always nervous going into a garage as most mechanic's just see pounds signs - these two guys didn't they saw a damsel in distress and have now got me out of trouble twice now. I cannot praise or recommend them enough, fantastic job, thanks guys. I will be back for a service soon as you two have managed to restore my faith in human nature. I'd give you 50 stars if I could. Folks don't hesitate knocks ATS and others off the map.

this was an air conditioner not working. I was told by the fitter that the fluid was empty. they spent some considerable time applying a vacuum to cleanse the system and then filled the system. the result was that the air conditioning was back to working fine. thanks for your time.
