The maths department is a total disaster. They like giving the wrong time table and withdraw students for "missing classes" and they don't communicate with students even for very important things like cancellation of groups. A lot of the computers are not working and the wifi is weak.

I was at Lambeth College for two years and I can tell you from personal experience the pastoral care is rubbish. The teachers are also not good at there jobs. I learnt more of YouTube than I did sitting in my lesson. I am more of a visual learner. None of the teaching was visual we always had to write down in our note pads. Lesson where not well thought out.
If you would like to go to a good college. I would advise you to choose Kingston college . Please read all of the reviews before you apply to this college. If I could give this college a zero star rating I would.

This year they are more organised because of Coronavirus rules and equipment in place. Such as Masks, Hand Sanertizer, Screens and markings of spaces to stand and wait.
As last year they were disorganised totally, if you were a new starter to the college there was no maps to follow, you just had to take directions by someone telling you as you do not have a cue where the A, B, C blocks are.
As it takes a while to get used to it.

This is to anyone who is thinking of going to Lambeth college. The place is a joke. People around the area know of its bad reputation but others who live further away sadly do not. PLEASE do not go here if you value a decent education. Literally any other option would probably be better.

I would give 0/5 stars if possible. Extremely poor communication and severe lack of respect and understanding from enrolment staff. SEN members are treated very poorly and astoundingly, they are put down!
As a tutor with experience of working with SEN children, I was shocked to see the behaviour of the Maths and English manager who was unprofessional and disrespectful, making a SEN family member feel incapable through her extremely rude tone and body language. She provided no support or solution relating to enrolment issues whilst simultaneously shattering the self-confidence of the child. Official complaint will be lodged for her sheer lack of respect and professionalism. Having read other reviews on here, I highly discourage enrolling into this college.

The worst college or educational facility I have ever been too. I did a electrical course city and guilds. My course was finished in 2015 and still not had any certificates other than excuses from college staffs. I have done all I could do to complete my 2357 course, so funny enough during the process of the college still sorting out my work and assignments at this present, this college has even lost my assignments that took me a month to complete. Luckily enough I had stored a copy info in my drive which was accessible for me to printout and provide to course tutor. I have never been to or studied any course were teacher that was in charge of the course kept leaving several times had many changes from tutor and not progressing just kept going round in circles. I am very disappointed and don't have many options only to wait till the college are ready for my work to marked, so I could receive a certificate for the hard work I have put in and also having a debt of thousands pounds from student loan which was not the worth the hassle .

I was there for 3 years worst experience ever!
I had such a hard time at school I thought college was a new beginning but was completely the worst thing ever tutors are really rude the environment is terrible I felt uncomfortable. Would never recommend this college!

I studied journalism there about 3 years ago, and I sincerely regret every hour wasted there. Apathetic tutors, mismanaged marking, rubbish with deadlines and generally poor quality teaching. Gurl... Just don't do it.

I have been here for 3 years, the 1st was OK and had some problems. But the last 2 up to this date were HORRIBLE!
Teachers would shame you for mistakes due to them not giving you good information and/or changing ideas you didn't know about.
In media I was making a trailer for a movie, the teacher needed a dark room but none could be reserved, so we had to put up a blind to block the light, but it was done incorrectly.
The T.A. asked me and another student to put it up on 2 poles (the blinds were big fabric blinds) without supported weight. The T.A. saw that the poles kept falling down and told us to stand it up, oviously the poles couldn't stand without balance. So I told him we are standing it up and the poles needed weight, he ignored me, so I told the other student to tell him we needed weights and the T.A. said just stand there. I got angry and told him we needed weights otherwise the poles would fall and possibly hit someone.
He then took notice and said "why are you yelling?" Me and the student said we need weights, he ignored the other student and put his focus on me saying "why don't you find some?" I couldn't leave the pole due to it being a hazard to others. I said I couldn't and then he said "why are you losing your temper?", I said "well maybe it's because I'm doing alot of work and you are not seeing the ovious, if I leave this pole it will fall. I'm trying to explain to you why I can't leave it and I'm trying to control my- (I started stuttering in anger trying to say the word Mind). I was in disbelief to what is happening, the other student was upset on the T.A.'s actions towards me and another one calmed me down and tooked my place.
After the weights were placed, the student holding the other pole and others said the T.A. laughed as I left the room to get weights. We did nothing but stare at him in shame.
And speaking of rooms, the teacher would kick out other classes so we do our work while they are doing theirs. One time a teacher got mad at ours for kicking out his class and deleted another student's work without care.
I apologise if this is too long to read but the facts are true.
I skipped most classes due to how poorly they are taught.
If you are going to this college, trust no one except someone you trust and care about. My life in college has got worse and possibly isn't going to get better. Don't let yours be the same.
People who do stuff that they shouldn't do must be stopped, but I'm a disabled person with ASD and learning problems. Me and the other students are afraid to warn the head teacher of the college. We may not have great bravery, but we do look out for each other.

I can see why their recent Ofsted rating was so poor.
When I did a course at Lambeth College, everything was poor. Enrolling was a nightmare. And when I started the course (computing) the quality of the teaching was abysmal.
I would recommend any students looking for good quality courses to avoid Lambeth College.

AVOID LAMBETH COLLEGE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! I used to be a student at Lambeth college. The teaching standards are disgusting. An I.T teachers swore and was aggressive towards me because I asked 'are we doing a test next week?'. I complained to the site manager and they said they will investigate the situation and discipline the teacher, turns out the teacher was let off with a verbal warning and he still teaches at Lambeth college. DO NOT GO TO LAMBETH COLLEGE.

The worse College I have never been.
I took a L2 English Course last year in September. There are no words to describe who unsatisfied me and my colleges were. The people working in the office where very rude and not helping at all. We have been told to pay and amount of money for the whole year and in the middle of the course they send us a letter asking to pay extra for the few next months. We send a comunal email to the head office which was never answered. The classes were in the afternoon, there weren´t lights in the corridor or cantine opened. also they didn´t turn on the heater in the whole winter so you can imagine how could was there. The teacher was amazing but not worth it for the lack of other servicies.

Unbelievable.
A lot of problems with this college. The staff doesn't communicate with students. Horrible organisation of management. I was waiting one year for a space in the class, what I do understand, but nobody contacted me to let me know.
During a teachers strike staff couldn't inform students what to do. No information before the exam.
Always I called to the Lambeth Centre staff gave me wrong information of no information.
They sent me three times to wrong centre. I just waste my time and money.
