Brilliant service my usual mechanic recommended I go to Mr clutch as the job was too involved for him they quoted me over £200 cheaper then other garages. Great service very friendly staff the manager was very helpful have been back since for a cambelt and again can't be beaten on price and service would recommend to anyone

I had a good first experience with mr clutch Shoreham until I came to pay the bill which was £90 more expensive than the quote would have be nice to told about possible extra costs when quoting. When there was a problem getting into gear was told it was the gear cables at £190 needing replacement. The clutch pedal was like sponge I questioned the manager/ receptionist he was very abrupt and said the cables were at fault and because I questioned it basically take the car away. I took the car to another garage they did a 5 minute repair bleeding the clutch it’s now perfect won’t be using or recommending mr clutch again

We approached Mr Clutch in Shoreham after our regular mechanic was out of ideas about an Astra with difficulty changing gears. After an initial online quote came in at around £600 for a new clutch and slave cylinder, we took the car down to the workshop and left it with the team for around 90 minutes for investigation. When we returned, they'd ruled out the suspected issues and identified an alternative problem which could have one of two causes.
Although we suggested we try repairing both at the same time, they dismissed this and suggested checking the cheaper option first, to avoid unnecessary costs.
When we returned with the vehicle for some further checks, they discovered that in fact no parts were needed and repaired the job immediately.
We were really pleased with the honesty and speed, and how helpful the staff were. Would be very happy to use them again.

Never really used this place before. Driven by thousands of times and never thought of using them. My ex partner needed to have his car service.. So unknowingly had him book here.
Car park is a bit tight to be honest and wondered if there was a space, but thankfully there was otherwise wouldn't know where to park.
Staff friendly and helpful and seeing as though a 19 year old car was dropped off for a service, it did cross my mind incase of requesting extra work to be done. No extra work was required and I knew it may not have needed it as just passed an MOT, but found this business to be trustworthy and would recommend.
I'll be booking my Saxo in on due course when required and have it bought to standard.
Overall pleased with service and would recommend.
As a tip of advice:- arrive early to get a space.

Really bad service quoted £325 and wanted me to pay £700,gave my registration for the vehicle twice to check for the price,never contacted my wife for the additional amount,they rung the wrong customer, then was told they would put old additional part back in.if I did not want to pay.
Gave me a discount to pay £655.

Brilliant service - booked my car in for a clutch and these guys quoted me over £200 less than other garages. I asked what brand of clutch was used as I thought it would be a cheap brand since their fitted price was so cheap.
They confirmed it would be a LUK brand - I had researched that brand before calling around for prices, and it seems to be what the manufacturer uses. When I dropped the car off, I was greeted by a friendly manager who said I will have my car back today.
They called me at lunch to say it will be ready by 3pm and when I picked the car up the price was the same. They also noticed a few minor points that will need work. Having been ripped off and messed around by many garages I'm sticking with these guys! If only they did plumbing too!

Great service, put in a new clutch for wife's car, got done 4 days early as they had a cancellation. They found a couple of other things wrong with the clutch ancillary parts and got the job done for a very fair price. We have also booked for the cambelt to be done.

Car is fine but I did ask for the steering wheel to be cleaned as he didn't wear glove when he drove it out to us. The steering wheel was very dirty and we sanitised the door handles, key and steering wheel ourselves. I did think it would be common practice by now.

Appointment booked a week in advance, arrived and zero parking spaces for customers. Mr Clutch called me after having my vehicle for 24 hours to say they are now "too busy". Mr Clutch did offer to rearrange the appointment, obviously declined as I lost faith. Retrieved my vehicle ASAP and would not go back or recommend.

In these already troubling times, my clutch decided to mess me about causing much stress. I am a key worker and need my car for making visits to disabled employers, which I explained to Adam when I called for help. Fortunately I was able to get to Shoreham and all the preliminary checks were made, some work done quickly and cheerfully, putting my mind at rest.
Definitely I will be using Mr Clutch in future, and I recommend them to everyone!

Owning an semi old prestigious car does come with semi prestigious complications and semi prestigious repair costs. These guys have managed to half the costs of going to an authorised dealer and have kept my V6 lump running like a dream, contrary to other local garages throwing a few pricey estimates at me. Adam (head honcho?) is a good, honest and reliable guy who does what he says and has been a bit of a lifesaver. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Clutch for motor repairs and trouble shooting.

Popped in to have a free battery test today as I wasn't sure if mine was on its way out or there was a drain. Mike and his assistant were very thorough and most helpful so I'd have no problems entrusting them with other jobs. Compare this to the "free battery test" offered by H*****DS up the road, who sent out a lady from the cash till with a machine she didn't even know where to plug in!

Terrible service , would not ever recommend I got the opinion they were just guessing, really poor customer relations, rude inept blokes who gave an opinion they couldn't care less , REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE, I originally left this review on the 8th August and the same day, within hours I received an email from a Customer Relations Officer at CI Holdings (Mr Clutch) asking me to take this review down along with my google review and they would then look into my complaint and get a regional manager to call me back , I was asked again to confirm I had taken the reviews down so I took my reviews down but after sending copies of my paperwork I have not received any feedback or contact at all , seems they are more concerned with getting bad feedback erased then actuality sorting the problems and complaints out, my opinion of the company has been made worse still ,

Mr clutch offered too repair car for third time an & £100 compo
My car went in for repairs am given back twice in a dangerous mot failure condition
Even now still having problems an outa pocket considerably
