Excellent school with state of the art building, situated in the heart of South Croydon. It has good links of train and tfl buses.

My daughter attended a summer programme at this beautiful school. She enjoyed every single day, and greeted me every afternoon with tonnes of news about her school day. Due to the lockdown, I thought it would be hard for her to get back into the school routine, however she was up at sunrise ready to start her day. She loved the lessons, teachers and the school grounds (as you can see from the pictures, the place is a haven). I would highly recommend the summer scheme to anyone in need of an extra push. I am so greatful my daughter experienced the programme, and was able to learn in such a beautiful and calming environment. My daughter also made a new friend from a different school, and they both exchanged contact details.

I am currently attending this school, I really enjoy it as it is so informative to people joining. It is a large amount of space and teaches the students life skill. People normally think it is a posh school and you have to pay a lot of money to attend but there are a mix of races throughout the school. You could also get a scholarship or bursary that enables your child to go to the school for less. The school fees are currently 20,000 pounds but most of people attend there for less including me. The school teachers spend time to insure that you have the best learning services. The school also goes to sixth form, has a entrance exam for Year 6. I really enjoyed the school. You can trust this review from personal encounters. Thank You.

My daughter has just finished a week at its Community Summer School. This week was fantastic, my daughter loved it so much and was sad that the week ended so soon. Thank you to all the staff involved to make this such an amazing experience.

Absolutely fantastic school. I went there in the 1960's and had a great time. It was a day school then; now about 10% are boarders. My son goes there now and is having a great time. They encourage you to be well-rounded and excel in all areas.

From my point of view on Whitgift, it did seem to be fairly large and good, with new sports hall and labs and DT/IT stuffs. Teachers are really nice (but a few) and education is at a high standard. There is school tuck shop around the school ground, with direct payment in school canteen.

Honestly what a shambles. I visited this school for a look around and the quality of the walls was shocking. Students were loud and constantly were rude to each other. Ethos in the school is shocking and I think they should do better.

Studied here from year 7-12. Overall a pretty good public school based on the balance between education and sport. The only downside I would say (as with a lot of private schools in the UK) is that there is so much of a focus on making the right grades that it perpetuates the cycle of studying to pass rather than free thought. Will say my education was worth the fees there but wouldn't definitely say I would replicate this step with my children in future

Very disappointing that there was only one peacock. False advertising is very bad for a good school like this. Disgusted by the way the peacocks did not come when I called for them.

I went there to find my nans pet squirrel and got stuck underneath a branch but luckily there were 47 french ostriches who came running to my rescue. once they saved me they all ran away to kazhakstan where they set up a crocodile farm but were eaten because crocodiles are vicious creatures. by the way screenshot this because i might be the prime minister of North korea one day

An incredible school that is often labeled a "sporty" school. Scratch beneath the surface of its outstanding amenities and you will discover so much more about this school than a glossy brochure can convey. Look beyond the sporty school label! My son has thrived here since entering in the 6th grade on an 'all-rounder' scholarship. He has discovered he is a natural linguist, joined Drama club, enjoys STEM club, and is constantly pushed to be the very best person HE can be. The school encourages (and it is not just 'lip service') the holistic development of your child not simply what HE thinks he's good at or feels comfortable with. There is an incredible co curricular program, I urge you to look into the details on this. Look at where leavers go on to, look at the teaching staff credentials. The experience we have had so far with the teaching staff has been only positive. There are a few incredible gems! Form teachers also provide an essential first point of contact and really look out for your child. I have found communication from the school to parents excellent - you are never in the dark on all matters and are very responsive to one-on-one parent contact. It is however a strict school but you will find a diverse population who attends there - which was a big draw for us. The IB is an extra bonus for many. Highlights? Simply outstanding teaching, sporting excellence, ties with the Royal Philamonic orchestra, outstanding drama productions, the recent WW1 'remembering 1916' exhibition, many opportunities for trips abroad and exchange programs, academy grade coaching, boutique boarding provision. The grounds. So much to say.

A school that continues with Air Miles Andy as it's Patron and example to the boys has got to be suspect. Andrew's dodgy business dealings with Eastern European crooks, the playboy lifestyle and womanising are all accepted by the school in its efforts to maintain links with Royalty at all costs. Unacceptable and humiliating.
