There are few green spaces in Harrow. Unfortunately, through lockdown, the school has continued to employ some pretty heavy-handed security around their playing fields. The fields are rugby pitches, not golf courses, and the grass isn't particularly well kept so there's no apparent need for this apart from the school's unwillingness to share the huge outdoor space it has at its disposal - unfortunately for the school, public rights of way run next to the fields and it's clearly not happy about that. The school benefits from charitable status and associated tax advantages. I question what the school gives to the local community in order to make this status appropriate.

Coming from the States, the idea of a British Public School is a LOT different than an American one! My son attends here and I can say that although VERY expensive, the fees are worth it if you want your kid(s) to have a great education. Seeing Daniel in his morning suit for the first time is a memory I will always treasure! The school has adapted very well to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and the quality of teaching and recreational activities is excellent as you would expect. I always picture that Daniel is at Hogwarts whenever I stop by!

I still think Eton is a better option but Harrow seems like a perfect school with good opportunities and will provide a great education to those who attend.

I was actually Born on west street , Harrow on the Hill so I have a very extensive experience of the Great School . My Great Grandfather was also Born on Harrow on the Hill as was my Grandfather and Grandmother . My Grandmother was born at the Address of Wellington Terrace. So we are a Family of Harroneons Born and breed.

I'm not going to lie, after reading the "Yelp!" reviews, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. To my surprise, this place achieves a fine balance of tradition and modernism through its decor and ambiance. The food was exceptional and the service was very fast and friendly. Good wine selection as well. I did not get to try the a la carte options, but the buffet was cheap and included an extensive range. I would recommend this place for a quiet night out

Absolutely spiffing school! One shalt send thy children. The teachers beat thine child into shape. Not like that scummy school, Eton.. Pft.

Harrow made Churchill, who won the war, and made us great, Eton made Eden, who was spineless, and made us a laughing stock. Must I say any more?

Hogwarts for the Nouveau riche, but 100% Slytherin. Still not as bad as Eton though who train incompetent psychopaths, two of whom have probably destroyed the disUK

Hope ppl are not confusing this gem with harrow college.....which is below human consumption. I am just somebody who has long walks over those beautiful grounds, simply amazing, so much different from the other sad bit of Harrow....you kids are seriously priviledged to study and live there, wish i had the same opportunity...

My child gets bullied at this haywire atmosphere - absolutely unacceptable. I spend £12,850 per term to see my son's health degrading in life. I am ashamed to even comment in regards to this so called 'academic' environment. Think twice before send your child here as there is plenty of racism to fill your buns while your son will only be driven to intentional self-harm as we had to face with our vulnerable teenage boy...I will also be suing the teacher if this happens again, unresolved.

Prestige does come at a price -- while I would not complain about the facilities nor the curriculum which are the crème de la crème in UK, it is certainly a heavy investment on the part of the parents. There may be some other less pricey schools out there, though prestige may be of a lesser note too.
