Great to see the Tuning Fork open again! We went for breakfast today. Amazing food, fantastic and friendly staff who were great with the children, good atmosphere outside. Even went back for cocktails later the same day and they were brilliant ????.

A marvellous place to eat. We had breakfast here which was of the highest quality. Thick bacon, cooked to perfection, the most amazing sausages and black pudding and the best poached eggs I’ve had in a long time. A full English cost £12 and is worth every penny. My Granddaughter had pancakes served with banana and delicious chocolate sauce. Everyone should visit here, I’m positive you’ll return for further visits.

A quirky place to grab some great food!
Set in a barn conversion, The Tuning Fork has lots of character from the get go. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinners with life music events it's a very flexible venue.
The menu covers lots of classics, but also has had nice twists. I'd really recommend the sweetcorn fritters on the breakfast menu!

JUST GO THERE!
Locally sourced produce, family owned, beautiful setting, what's not to love? It's great have something new and unique with a menu that gets updated frequently.
I love the idea of supporting local businesses and local people compared to going to another corporate chain where the meal is likely prepacked in a factory and heated in a Microwave (think Frankie & Benny's etc!) .
This place is an absolute treat and well worth a visit.

Great place to eat. Food is always amazing, you can tell it's made with top quality ingredients. Only downfall is that service has been a little bit slower than usual recently however I think that's to be expected due to current circumstances. Still one of my favourite places for food in Rugby.

Four soft drinks, four pieces of cake...£31. The milkshakes were good, to be fair, and the cherry bakewell was very tasty. It's nice, but not somewhere I would consider going on a regular basis because of the prices.

First time here for my partner and I and two friends. Pleasant staff but had no idea how to manage tables as others have said, on multiple occasions we had to try and get their attention to order the basics like a wine list, napkins and steak knives, absolutely no attention to detail. My partner ordered a med rare ribeye steak but it was closer to rare and as a result it was chewy as the fat had not rendered down as this cut of meat needs additional cooking time! On a positive note the other meals were good, nice menu and wine, delicous desserts.

Great rustic cafe and restaurant located on the edge of what will be the new town of Houlton. How this place is so busy being first out of the ground on a new estate is beyond me! Portions are very generous with food, but coffees were a little small. Staff are very attentive. Didn't like the weird beans and oversized dry toast on the full English but the rest was very nice. Will go back.

The food is excellent but having visited a couple of times I find the service somewhat cold and when asking for a very slight change on a dish due to a dietary problem, it was met with a rather "computer says no" attitude and you feel you're more of a nuisance. Most staff are polite but there's definitely something lacking which is a shame

Food was really great just as you can read in other reviews but oh my god that service was far behind. It's took 30 minutes to the lady to take order and I have to say that her attitude was far from nice, even in MD can people smile on you while you are served I can't see reason why not here. She also returned few times to the other tables as she forgot what was on menu. Menu is on one and half page. I finished with my lunch without extras for which I paid for. Those 4 stars are solely for food only.

A few rude staff and a one way system that is regularly blocked by staff chatting, which they then make comment when you try and use it and get to close to them.
Unfortunately this has happened to two of my family members at separate occasions.
Given 2 stars as one staff member on my visit was very polite, courtoues and helpful, making the other few i dealt with look useless

I've just returned from my first visit here and thoroughly enjoyed my time. A few people have mentioned that it's quite expensive, which on face value it is, but is to be expected and the norm for locally sourced/produced ingredients/produce - and it was all very tasty! There were just a few things that I'm just nitpicking really; the bun on my burger was so crusty and therefore impossible to squish down and eat by hand or to even cut with a knife and the plate was too small for when I needed to deconstruct it to be able to eat it! Also, we had to wait a little longer than expected for our meal and the second round of drinks ordered as our meal was served didn't arrive until after we'd finished eating, but that didn't bother us too much as we were all having fun socialising. We all said we'd definitely return, but perhaps only for a special occasion because of the price.

This is a great meeting place and restaurant. We had a great family brunch. Lovely indoor and outdoor seating. Ample parking and Dog friendly and there is a super play park 50 yards away for kids. The food is excellent with a wonderful menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. Check out their superb selection of cakes! Highly recommended.

We have visited for dinner. . . . Stunning.. food was a very high standard, the service was excellent and the ambience charming. We then visited on another occasion for breakfast, this too was exceptionally good quality. Yes the place is pricey, but in our opinion, worth it. So well done to all the staff for delivering such great food and exceptional service.

It's in a bit of an odd place amid a newly built housing development, well it's still being built, but it's obviously very popular as we didn't book a table and had to wait over 20 minutes for one, this was on a Friday so goodness knows what it's like Saturday and Sunday. I had a banoffee milkshake which tasted lovely it was quite thin it wasn't thick at all but it tasted very nice, I also had a very large slice of sticky toffee cake and it was delicious! I did have a nose at other people's food which they'd ordered off the menu and it all looked very nice, I was in a bit of a hurry so we didn't stay for a full lunch. Definitely somewhere to remember for another time though.

Right on the edge of Rugby's newest construction sight of Houlton for the next 15 years or so, this eatery is of a very high standard.
The menus are locally sourced and seasonally inspired and just delicious.
Run by a local family who also have restaurants in the town of Rugby.
Local history is the theme in the décor of the restaurant with a very interesting story behind it.
A full lunch with wine or a barista coffee with homemade cake it's your choice and all very delicious.
Ideal family dining you will need a car to get there and the plentiful parking is free.
