Very mixed experience on our first visit. The cafe itself is very pleasant. There was an incredibly long wait between ordering and the food arriving (45 mins at least), but once the food did arrive, it was very tasty. Sadly, by the time the food arrived, our coffee had gone cold. Staff were friendly, and nice enough to bring a bowl of water for the dog, but they seem to be run off their feet and cant keep up when it's busy.
Food also seems very pricey for what it is; £3 for a small pot of tea seems somewhat extortionate.
The cafe simply does not have enough parking for the number of customers. A number of vehicles parked on the side of the road were asked to be moved by some jobsworth security guard, who actually asked TF staff to get the cars moved while he ran off to hide in his 4x4.
Overall, it was ok, but needs to sort a couple of things out to encourage a return visit.

Food was good but the service was poor .... We had pre booked a table as advised... They had no recollection of the booking despite the fact we were able to proove we had booked and there were empty tables!! they were very rude and unhelpfull and frankly we were made to feel unwelcome... The service was very slow and the serving staff un friendly... We will not be re visiting ...

Excellent food, service wasn't the best, the waitress was not happy at all and quite rude. She forgot some people's orders and even though we ordered 3 desserts we only received 2 so she clearly forgot that as well! Very noisy when busy I couldn't hear the people at my table. Wouldn't eat here again out of choice
