Been a filli cafe fan from my days in dubai and was pleasently surprised to see it open here in London. Undoubtedly the best kara chai in town. The staff are very courteous and explain the customers about concept of karak chai for those who don't understand it. I guess they can increase the variety and options available to suit the London market. But overall a wonderful joint for chai lovers and highly recommended.

Chai is good but too much sugar. Not a place to sit and chill, seating is very narrow and the wooden seats are not comfortable. Good for takeaway if you are craving chai though and open till 11. Make sure you get there by 10:45 though to place last order.

This is a little gem of a place! Toasted chicken sandwich, good coffee, helpful staff and good music. Great little place for a quick bite and well made coffee. Try the saffron chi - shouldn't work; but it does.

Really enjoyed Filli Cafe's Saffron Tea! It was and amazing mix of flavors and cant wait to go back again and try the rest of the items on their menu! I definitely recommend everyone trying it! You wont want miss out.

The Saffron tea was very tasty! The server was very friendly, I really appreciated that. Also, we had the potato crunch roll which was another hit. Definitely recommend this place!

Was super excited when I found this in London as I love the Filli Cafe franchise in the Emirates and the Gulf, however I feel the London venue doesn't quite deliver on the quality, flavours and atmosphere its other branches around the world do. It's quite a small venue (which is understandable considering London business rent prices) which fine, but the karak chai wasn't quire right for me and the saffron not mixed in well enough. The samosa's are OK and had flavour, but smaller than I expected and didn't taste as fresh. But if you need a quick chai fix from somewhere in central London, this would be the place.

Filli chai saffron. I told the lovely staff I was a coffee drinker, the young lady poured me a little of this tea to try, it is gorgeous! I am still a coffee drinker but only because I don't live near this cafe. I will without doubt be back.

Amazing saffron tea! Great service and friendly staff with a smile! They even speak to the customer and not give robotic customer service. Prices are very reasonable and their honey and cheese parotha is just amazing - tastes like home food! I’m a regular customer at the DXB branch and this is just as good.

Love the saffron fili chai! Just the type I love - decent amount of milk, full of flavours and has an amazing aroma, and obviously - Saffron powder on top! For the ones who don't enjoy milk in their tea, maybe not the ideal choice :P

Great spot for tea with a few meal options, including a vegan burger! Their signature chai tea with saffron was delicious! The people working were as nice and helpful as can be! They also have a few spots to charge up!

Extremely disappointing experience. Ordered chai and savory items. We were given our chai and we remained more than half an hour waiting for the food items! The whole time we were waiting we were standing! In walk three gentlemen apparently they know one of the staff and order and Voila they get served their items! When we watched shocked and asked them how could it be that people who just walked are served while we have been waiting for half an hour, he casually said we made a mistake!!! Turns out he decided to give the gentleman our order instead of making them wait. Now if it was a mistake, I would have seen them bring it back and say something was missing or wrong etc. but they didn’t because it was already agreed to! Obviously I didn’t understand what they said because they weren’t speaking in English or else I would’ve spoken up! When I asked him if he was serious he nonchalantly said we’ll refund you!! What about my time? What about the fact that the tea got cold while we waited for the food? As we walked out very disappointed one of us remarked that it may actually have been a good thing because she was concerned about hygienic standards anyways. Very unprofessional.

Had Samosa and Filli Saffron tea yesterday at Leichester square. I felt so sick ( with high heartbeat and stomach cramps ) . Will avoid going there. Not that, I'm allergic to masala tea. I prepare and have it everyday twice at home.

This shop does not deserve to be associated to original Dubai shops. Cold karak Chai that doesn't taste anything like Dubai. FiLLi owners should seriously reconsider renaming this shop. Not a patch on Dubai branches.
