Evolution Osteopathy provides a wonderful service starting with Luke from reception to a careful assessment and treatment from Matthew.
I came to Matthew to correct my posture caused by scoliosis which I have it since childhood. I used to be told that the surgery is the answer and there is no much I can do apart from maintenance trough swimming and exercising.
The results started to become evident after first 1-2 months. Now after half a year of "working" with Matthew I can see impressive visible results.

I have been having lower back pain for two years, and thought about trying osteopathy without much conviction about the outcome.
But after three sessions I could already feel the difference. I am less stiff, more flexible and relaxed, and the pain has dramatically decreased.
On top of that Steffan is really cool and turns sessions into good moments you almost look forward to (if you like having your back cracked :/)

As a health care professional myself, I make for a terrible patient and he manages my constant barrage of questions incredibly professionally! I visited Matt Wood at Evolution Osteopathy for help with reoccurring shin splints that have been a problem for the last 12 months. I couldn’t believe how much better I felt afterwards and spent the rest of the day grinning from ear to ear because the sense of relief in my legs and back was incredible! Matt is a consummate professional and his excellent skills and knowledge is apparent right the way through from assessment and diagnosis to treatment. Further, he has a brilliant manner with patients and you can tell he really cares about you and is really working to understand your body and your treatment needs to deliver a bespoke set of treatments and aftercare recommendations. He also wasn’t pushy at all so I felt like he really only recommends what is genuinely in your interests. All round a great experience and I would recommend Matt to anyone.

Highly recommend. A friend recommended Sophie at Evolution Osteopathy when I was having shoulder problems. It was one of the best recommendations I have ever had. Sophie is brilliant, really helped me with recurring neck and shoulder issues. I felt better after the first visit. She gave me tips and exercises to do at home which have really helped me manage the problem. She is very proffessional and highly skilled but also really lovely and makes you feel totally at ease. The studio is well located, a very nice, clean and calming place to visit, I always leave feeling better then when i went arrived. Highly recommended.

Sophie has been incredible. I had a chronic neck and shoulder problem relating to childhood injuries that I thought would be a pain I would carry for life. I have visited countless osteopaths, chiropractors, massage therapists with little change, and a little relief. After a number of weekly sessions with Sophie it has been corrected and the pain is no longer - nothing short of life changing! Sophie was recommended to me by a work colleague. I saw her for neck/shoulder pain that has plagued me for couple of months during the lockdown. She has magic in her hands. After one treatment I could rotate my head! Took further two visits to fully release the pain from the shoulder area. Amazing???? It has now been almost 2 months and I am planning on preventive visit; general realignment.
The place, itself, is very clean and airy. It is very easy to book an appointment either by web or calling in person. Everyone I encountered there are very warm and nice. Highly recommended ????

I did and I feel great.
I'm not one to write reviews but I've had such good results from Steffan Kermin at Evolution Osteopathy in Waterloo, I feel compelled to jot my thoughts down. About six weeks ago I was struggling with a bit of lower back pain. Despite stretching, gentle exercise and medication, this progressed to the point of debilitation. I made an appointment at Evolution based on the good reviews. On that day I was so much pain it took me half an hour to put one sock on. I crawled into the clinic and with a combination of osteopathic magic and a bit of acupuncture, I was able to gently move. But the next day, I had what I could only describe as amazing results. I could move pain free. My wife didn't believe me!
I've been back now three more times. Steffan is a professional but a descent guy as well. You'll get results...so GO SEE STEFFAN!

I came to Matt following a nasty sports injury that left me unable to walk properly due to excruciating lower back pain.
Having visited 2 practitioners before Matt, neither of them were able to come close to fixing the underlying issue.
Matt provided a solid treatment plan consisting of verbal consultation around the anatomy, a physical and exercise rehabilitation plan...and of course hands on therapy.
Not only did he fix the main lower back issue, but also a host of other minor problems that were stemming from it. In addition to this he treated other long term injuries, that had prevented me from being completely
injury free and limiting the scope of my exercise.
All in all great service, would highly recommend to anyone.

I have been seeing Stefan for a lower back issue and I cannot believe how much better it feels already! Stefan is professional, knowledgeable and is always very nice and welcoming. His ability is almost intuitive - sometimes I do not even have to tell him where the pain is, he just seems to know! I've been seeing Steffan for the best part of 9 months now. He is always welcoming and professional. I compete in strongman so my body gets beaten up on a regular basis but he is always able to straighten me out, from tendonitis to extremely tight muscles.
I always leave better than when I went in.
I wouldn't go to anyone else!

Having moved recently from the US, where I visited many physios and osteopaths before finding someone great, I was concerned that I'd have a similar struggle here in the UK.
Fortunately, a coworker recommended Matthew and Evolution Osteopathy. I've had excellent treatment so far and really notice a reduction in my lower back and hip pain after seeing him.
He has a great knowledge of anatomy, which I've found to be really helpful in understanding the treatment I'm receiving (and thinking through the exercises I need to do outside the clinic). Highly recommend!

I have used Evolution a number of times this year and can recommend them highly. Their online booking system is very easy to use and you get email and text reminders. Their practitioners are very experienced and can treat wide a range of injuries or issues you might have and their location in central London is very convenient to visit within a lunch hour or before or after work!

I visited Matthew Wood at Evolution for a trapped nerve in my shoulder which was affecting my arm. I found him diligent, friendly and very knowledgable. He managed to get to the bottom of the problem and over the course of a handful of sessions managed to get me back to normal. He really did work wonders and I’d have no hesitation returning if I have any kind of problem in the future.

I’ve been living in London since October 2018 and it’s taken me a little while to find an osteopath that works for me.
Seeing Matthew for the first time was great and was such a relief that I finally found someone that can help me with my muscle and neck/back issues.
Matthew is incredibly thorough and attentive and I’ve left each session feeling great.
Can’t recommend enough! I go to him every 4-6 weeks and can’t imagine seeing anyone else.

Many years ago in Canada, I visited an osteopath for some therapy on an old nagging back complaint. After a few sessions it was much improved. So when the nagging back returned a couple of weeks ago, I looked for an osteopath near my current place of work in London. Waterloo is convenient for me and I decided to try Evolution Osteopathy. The practitioner who treated me is Steffan Kerwin. I do not hesitate to recommend him for his professional warmth friendly approach and obvious depth of knowledge. He put me at ease from the start and he was also very flexible to my needs and helpfully explained everything about the healing process. After the first session, I was able to move much more freely again and after the gentle exercise routine he prescribed, my back was much improved. After a second session, I am right as rain again. So I also recommend him for obvious results.

The service here is excellent and problems Iv had for years have been dealt with and made to feel like new in just a few sessions, Sophie Bowker does a amazing job and I would highly recommend her, I could hardly move my neck when I first went in but left with movement and much more flexibility.
I have been to a lot of people with my neck over the years and I can honestly say Sophie has improved it more than anybody, so don’t suffer in pain give her a go.

I visited Evolution Osteopathy regularly for sports massages while preparing for my first marathon. Really happy with the quality of massage, I have had numerous sports massages before elsewhere and Evolution Osteopathy are definitely one of the best I've experienced. I had been suffering for some time with severe pain in my right shoulder, which referred pain up my back. I had 2 treatments with Tristan and the pain completely subsided. I have been pain free since!
I have referred a few friends and family to him since that day, and everyone has always had amazing results, he even treated my elderly mother while she visited me from Italy!
I will never forget his manners towards her, he spoke to her with such kindness, she was pain free after days of agony!

Sophie was my saviour when I came to see her with a disc bulge in my neck. I'd been to see a few people when I saw her but was unable to hold my head up or walk properly. She managed to help with this in one session! I certainly wasn't cured but it gave me so much hope. Since then (3 months ago), I have significantly improved, I only see her once a month! Sophie is positive but not unrealistic and truly amazing at her job, I'm so thankful.
