Visited for the first time with my mum during lockdown. Both of us had great customer service that reflected our different needs. After a through test where each steps was explained. I felt confident in there prescription. Two weeks later as promised our new glasses arrived. Once again a warm friendly, greeting,excellent care and attention, high standards of hygiene. Will definitely used them again.

Friendly staff and well set up within the Covid restrictions.
Front door is a little stiff and needs a good push, I was told it had been recently repaired but began sticking again shortly afterwards. Just needs a good push!

My 10 year old wears glasses. He has had his eyes tested here four times and we always come here for the free glasses (on prescription for children).
Truth be told, we prefer the testing at the opticians my family have used in Stoke Newington (Stephen H. Davies). At Specsavers they are almost always busy, even when you make an appointment, and despite the staff being very friendly they have to consider the many customers waiting outside, and so things are a little more rushed.
There is also usually a wait, despite appointments. Typically 10-20 mins.
Finally, I don’t think we have seen the same optician more than once at Specsavers, which is a shame. Having someone who recognises you (and your ailments) would help me pull up the score to 5 stars.
My son has always found a pair of glasses he likes from the selection they have here. We bring our prescription from Stephen H. Davies to Specsavers who are happy to provide us with 2 free pairs. We just have to tell them at Stephen H. Davies that we will be getting our glasses elsewhere before they write the prescription out.
All in all, a very good service, but when it comes to the eye health of my child I prefer to use the option that feels more thorough and be seen by the same person each time, as much as is practicable.

It was understaffed due to lockdown and crowded due to slow service but still a four star because the staff that was there were professional and trying to accommodate everyone even the difficult clients.

I'll never buy from there again. The new glasses were very blurry. I told them straight away I couldn't see properly. They told me to use them for a week. It still didn't improve. I wanted my money back. It was refused. They said I had to see the Same person who checked my eyed. So I never went back there and lost my £400 that I spent on 2 pairs of glasses from them. They don't listen to you and the staff are pretty useless too.

I had an excellent experience here.
I went I to get my sunglasses fixed and thought I would book an eye test.
They tested me straight away and within an hour had ordered my new glasses and was on my way home.
My glasses arrived last Thursday and I'm so happy with them.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I would recommend the Tottenham branch to anyone.

Had the best experience in this Tottenham branch. Professional and friendly service, clean organised environment and the most helpful optician. My eye test was very thorough and very efficient and he was very patient during my contact lens assessment.

Awesome customer service, cannot say I’ve had such a thorough and personalised eye test as I did here.
Really pleased with the service and outcome - love my new specs and what’s even better is that they work. I can see better than ever, no issues with the fit of my frame as they used savvy tech to scan my face and tailor a list of frames that wound suit my face shape. My lenses are amazing also, crystal clear vision and no more headaches - what a result.

Sometimes they are on the street to give out leaflets with a welcoming smile and hi with no force for to have the leaflets.

Brilliant store. I was greeted by Seval a lovely lady with a great smile and she helped me choose my frames and advised me on lots of things and is dealing with my order of glasses.Very professional and knowledgeable. All the staff are friendly and very caring. Seval, Sharon, Lily, Zairish,Cancu and Akim are an absolute credit to Specksavers, their customer care is AMAZING everyone of them greet you with a smile and make sure you are happy with everything . Not forgetting the opticians who are very professional and thorough with eye tests. I am looking forward to return there for my glasses. I highly recommend that you visit this branch in Bruce Grove Tottenham because you can be sure to be in the company of very kind caring professional staff 100%. If there were to be awards of the year for staff at Specksavers company this store would be the Winners without a doubt .Fantastic store

I went in today with mum. I moved her from her other optician after my great experience with Specsavers in Bethnal Green. The staff were not rude but they was super inefficient.
The first person we saw was Akim, he gave my mum a pre-test and then took her photo on an ipad for glasses recommendations which confused me but I did not say anything. Then the app did not work so he went 'old school' and took her to the glasses section to pick one out. I then said "why are we doing this now? MY mum has glasses that are only 12 months old and we have not had the eye test yet to see if her prescription has changed" to which he said "ok".
We then waited for the optician for about 10-15 mins to give my mum her eye test. Mind you it was around 12pm and not busy at all. The optician gave her appointment her took about 30 mins. Then we was moved to another assistant called Lily who took mum to the glasses section to pick out some glasses. She said that we'll get the glasses with additional stuff for £80 in total which was fine.
We went to the desk and Lily did a bunch of measurements, tests etc. and then for some reason, she got her manager Sharon to come. We had to wait another 10 mins for Sharon as she was seeing someone else. Sharon then came and did the EXACT same measurements, tests etc. When she rung up the bill it was £110. Lily had mistakenly said some of the additional features was not free.
By this time I was frustrated along with my mum. It had been 2 hours inside Specsavers now... That in it self is ridiculous. I wanted to leave but for my mother's eye health I stayed.
When we left after the 2 hours. They forgot to give us the eye drops. It was just a shambles of inefficient work. Specsavers need to train their staff to increase their efficiency in the Tottenham branch. The Bethnal Green branch was great when I went for myself and wife earlier this year.

Fantastic service and highly professional. Seval who helped me pick my glasses was GREAT. She was very friendly always smiling, kind and VERY patient. Lost my contact lenses and glasses and the staff went the extra mile to get me replacements lenses on the day.
I ended up findng my glasses and didnt have time to go back to the store to thank them or collect the replacements but I extremly appreciated the their efforts !
