The staff here are quite rude aggressive and unhelpful. The sunglasses on sale are overpriced and only guaranteed for 30 days. Try Specsavers . Give this branch a miss.

Hi I visited the oxford street branch today to have my eye test done. The testing staff were brilliant, till you get to the point of choosing your glasses frame, then it’s all became about selling. It’s a shame to see, they are more concern about you using their frames other than making sure your lenses goes on a frame that is more comfortable for you the user. I spent total of £230 last year on a glasses frame from boots, which I specifically asked the staff who served me if I can reuse my own frame and she said yes, only for another member to tell me today that I would have to pay £180 in order to use my own frame. I then went to four other eye opticians on my way home, including spect savers, they all said I can use my own frame. So I would like to know why boots opticians staff are advising people to buy their expensive frames when they know they will not allow you to reuse it. I am very disappointed and would not visit that branch or recommend it to anyone. This is the second time I’ve used that branch because it’s closer to my job and yet again I am dissatisfied with the service I received from the people measuring you up for the frames. If I knew they will refuse for me to use my own frame, I would not have done the test with them in the first place. Please shop around with other opticians first and always ask if you can use your own frame before allowing them to test your eye so you don’t loose out.

I am very confident to recommend Boots Opticians in Bond Street. I was seen by the optician on time even though it was a very busy Saturday afternoon appointment. Contact lense check and eye test were done separately and all the members of staff were very friendly, efficient and gave me detailed explanation. After the tests I was automatically sent to a member of the sales staff to choose the glasses. When I said I had no intention to purchase new glasses that day, he understood and continued being nice and helpful, which made me want to purchase my next glasses from them near future. The eye test + Contact lens check without glass purchase costed £60, and with a voucher I paid £45, which I thought was quite reasonable for the great service I received.

Having used an expensive Contact Lens practitioner for over 40 years I decided to try Boots. I was very pleased with the excellent service I received - far better than previously - for the professionalism, care and that 'going the extra mile'. Would recommend this Optician to everyone.

In the past I’ve always used this branch and been very happy. Having moved away, I ordered glasses at another Boots for delivery to here. By the time we were leaving London, they still hadn’t arrived. Every day we went in to store, every staff member was truly lovely. Even though it had nothing to do with them, their focus was on resolving the issue. We got back to Florida Thursday and Monday morning DHL delivered our glasses which Sedley Pl had located and sent on. Top service and well beyond what I’d expect from a busy store in the centre of oxford st. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

I have been with boots options for over 10 years and never have I ever been disappointed by their service. Today I had to take my 8 years old daughter for check up, usually she is very nervous but staff member Lewis was so friendly and kind and made her feel so comfortable, she did all her pre test very confidently and happy, not to mention ophthalmologist Kishan who is also extremely professional and very good with kids and finally staff member Ana who had helped my daughter to make a wright choice to peek her glasses. I would like to thank whole team for their professional customer service and definitely I would highly recommend their service.

A sales advisor booked me in for an eye test, I asked if it was free she said yes. She told me to go on Google images for Boots free eye test screen a shot and use it next day, she actually did it for me. Next day after the eye test I asked if I could come another day with a friend to choose the frame, they look at my voucher said it’s not valid as it’s from 2015, I explained it’s not my fault. The manager (lady)in charger handled really badly not taking into account it was the staff’s fault, she said I must pay for the prescription or the voucher is valid if I buy the glasses straightaway. Terrible customer service

Excellent Boots Opticians upstairs within Boots Sedley Place, Oxford Street, next to Bond Street tube station. Always professional service, helpful and friendly staff. A decent selection of frames and some accessories too. An appointment is always needed to have an eye test because, being on Oxford Street, this store can get very busy.

Very bad customer service. While Christmas shopping, I went in to have my glasses tightened as they had become loose with time. The man seemed annoyed with me for even asking. He eventually served me (after I had confirmed that my glasses came from Boots) but actually ruined my glasses! He returned them even looser and angled. When I (and my appalled partner) said that, of course, it was not good he just pressed the glasses against my face as if it was going to make them fit by magic. It hurt ad didn't fix anything. I left puzzled and angry. I went to another Boots to have them fixed, again. The lady who served me was shocked. The glasses were so strongly bent outward that they can't be properly fixed and I need new ones. This is unacceptable! The man in the Bond Street branch was not only rude and unhelpful, he was also totally incompetent and I now have to pay for his mistake!

Horrible horrible, I left because I felt uncomfortable, they were trying to force me to buy a new glasses and they were rude, DON'T GO IN THIS OPTICIANS. I never had this kind of rude treatment in another place, and I had been with Boots opticians for long time. Horrible horrible.

Worst customer service experience. They ask you to come back for countless appointments and they are always late, they make you wait and provide unclear answers. Very unprofessional.

I’ve been with boots opticians sedley place for over 10 years, For the first time ever I was less than 15 minutes late and was forced to order more trial contact lenses and wait for another appointment just for contacts fitting. I could look for some place else closer to my home and chose to come to central London. I think this is very disrespectful. I am very disappointed that they turn clients away like this. I will be looking for

Awful service. The optician, clearly an ametuere one, misspelt my name and did not care to get a new prescription card.Rather he handed my prescription in the paper where he overwrote my name.I hated to even look at it.He even struggled to give instructions clearly.£25 gone down the drain.

Awful, amateur service. Kept waiting. Calls not returned. Over complicated everything. Would not trust these people with my eye health again.

I’ve had six contact lenses dispatches and not a single one ran smoothly without me having to physically go to store as the helplines do not pick up.
