This place has an amazing canteen which serves excellent food at a super cheap price point. Loved working here as a transformation coach, helping take BT through a very interesting process of self change. This building is somewhat old and outdated but at a very iconic location overall and has history with Marconi testing his inventions there.

Did you know that talk talk and bt run of the same servers. So why is BT 5X more expensive. When there internet is awful customer service awful there. £28 a month for 32mb on BT 142mb for £28 talk

Went for a job interview with their openreach sub company. Said no because I have a EU licence (which is legally allowed answer still in the EU) and bloke literally said I'm too "big" (fat) for the job even though I meet the weight class needed. Racist and arrogant. Also make you travel over 120 miles for the interview with having offices everywhere

Beautifully laid out classic building, light and airy situated in the best location. From all sides of London it is easy to get to. The best people, super friendly atmosphere. Great coffee area, canteen and superb gym. Long may it stay the home of BT!

BT misleading customers with "Average Speed" on boadband. I have a broadband contract of Superfast Fibre Plus which on BT website advertises "Average Speed of 67 MB". I saw this and upgraded. It clearly meant that the average speed I will get will be 67MB. I never got this speed and the best I got was 42MB. I called BT and thet said that 67MB was average for all BT customers. No where was it clearly mentioned that I will, in all likelihood may never get this speed. I pay a high cost for the broadband (with some temporary discounts) and some bells and whistles which is of no use to me. BT has been able to now stick me with a contract which I was misled to buy.

The worst experience you will ever come across.. I have an inactive number for 2 months now promised 2 weeks at the most. Been chased for Bill's for a service I do not even have working yet. Cut off my existing service I have had for 19 years causing great discomfort and loss of earnings.. Opened complaint nothing happened then they sent me an email less than 24 hrs later saying complaint closed. I still have no service!!!!!!!!!!!! The biggest headache knows to human. Worse service in the world..

As all the comments below suggest, BT customer service isn't great at the moment,but they're doing a lot to improve this at the moment. Their services are the best in the UK, with good prices and if you're not with BT you're more than likely still using their network anyway. This is BT's HQ, it's a great building with a good canteen. The auditorium downstairs is really nice too.

It took me since may to get cancellation charges sorted out and was chased multiple time for debt collection telephone barn in the Philippines. Actual service fine when working. I have transferred phone lines now but would suggest telling BT you are considering moving and they will typically match the deal and it's a lot less stressful as long as the .... system is working

I would avoid taking any of BT’s services out not only do they provide poor slow internet they put your price up mid contract, after they did this to me I cancelled there services and paid my bill in full. But BT charged me £100 in cancellation charges which I wouldn’t pay so they placed a de-fault on my credit report for unpaid cancellation charges and damaged my credit rating affecting me now getting a mortgage. I will not deal with this company again.

Amazing how canceling a service could be so difficult! BT is literally giving me a 1 day window to call them to cancel my phone and broadband without incurring cancellation fees (due to their strict 30 notice period). Never before seen this level of nickle-and-diming attempt!

I have spent well over 15 hours talking to people all over the world, trying to get my broadband restored (installed for 5 days only). They changed my phone number of 33 years to a number unknown to me or BT, for no reason. They cannot reconnect me as a matter of urgency, never mind how many mistakes they made and will not give me a date. I am refused the phone no, fax, email and address of Libby Barr, MD Customer Services, even though she writes to me, telling me - wrongly - that my service has been restored. I have to pay a huge penalty to cancel my contract. BT want to dig up my land to install fibre optic cable for their mast, but won't lay it to my house and I'm forbidden to develop the land forever, but they can give me 3 months notice.

This company is a debacle. We have been trying to get our broadband service up and running for a month. It came up finally last week then got disconnected 2 days later! We have escalated it but noone phones up and all the advisers say they "totally understand" but none of them manage to sort it out. The stress it causes is awful.

No one at BT knows what they are doing. We have tried for more than two weeks to get a landline working. Engineers don’t show up and nothing anyone says on the phone is honoured. What a crock.

Not worthy of one star! but you are forced to check a star before writing a review. Customer service is absolutely appalling. I have been a loyal BT customer for in excess of 25yrs. I ordered BT TV on 9 Dec 2017 and promised installation by Xmas, on both dates installation never took place (Xmas ruined as I had cancelled previous contractor). Here I am 20 January 2018 and still no installation (BT is it really that difficult!). I have spoken to so many customer service advisor's neither can follow a basic customer service script, despite failed promises neither have succeeded in resolving my issue. My complaint is still ongoing as is my chronology of events and telephony contacts. Please can someone in a senior position review your customer service policy and help me! all I want is to view TV. I have never experienced such customer service (lack off).

I Cannot believe how bad this company is. I came to this country not knowing much about the competition but speaking to BT, they gave me all the possible good vibes about using them and i signed up with them. in my first year, I was horrified and terrified by the bills and their AWFUL AND DIABOLICAL customer service. every single call that I have made to this company was over an hour, wasting my time and at the end of the call, you feel brain dead because the customer service people twist their words and statements so much. I would recommend NOT TO USE THEM WHAT SO EVER. i can go ON AND ON about them but I can't be bothered to waste any more of my time and Google's space for reviews.

Account Number GB18692788. Over 3 months ago I ordered a phone line from you and it is still not working. I have had 4 engineer visits to the property and each time it seems the office have tried to connect me to the wrong exchange and the engineers have had to leave without completing the work. this has involved me taking time off work for nothing 4 times. I regularly call in to speak to a manager or somebody senior in order to resolve this situation and I am told I will receive a call within 24 hours which never happens. I do feel my experience indicates that every part of your process has failed in this instance. Oh no actually, I have received bills and now chasing letters so it seems that part of the process is working fine.

Loving the new Lloyds bank advert which is promoting and supporting staff and customers with mental health issues.... Lets hope other companies follow the trend now .... I will be hugely surprised if your company follows suit. I have a very good friend who works for your company/Openreach and has been fighting his management team where they're based out of with a union representative to be reinstated in their original job the the past seven years. They have mental health and this is being made on going due to t the "temporary job" they were given. My friend was promised by his manager that as soon as a position in their original job became available that they would be transfered straight away but this hasn't happened in seven years. Your companies treatment of my friend and other employees with mental health issues is degrading and atrocious in this day and age of publicity regarding mental health. I'm aware of your company being involved in a situation like this before yet the employee involved wasn't able to take the constant bullying from his team members and management and lost his life due to it. I know your employees have jobs to do yet they don't get time for them to have lunch or in this weather to keep their fluid intake balanced. I have found the longer I know my friend the worst they have been treated, they are being bullied in the workplace which is being ignored and they're work load and area is being unfairly loaded up and up everytime they have a meeting with the manager. They are being bullied into leaving a company that they have worked for fourteen years because of lack of support and understanding of mental health. This is not a new case reported to management seven years this has been on going and brushed aside with reassurance of being looked into and being resolved yet nothing except ignorance and more bullying. Your company seriously needs to look into your management and their training and the resources made available to have these issues resolved promptly before more of your staff loose their lives.
