I had a perfectly good experience here. I don't why there are so many poor reviews. Tejal Patel was my dentist. She was informative, knowledgeable and patient. She listened to all my questions and answered them intelligently. I didn't get that 'get out of my room' feeling that I've had before with some dentists and doctors. She didn't try to talk me into doing any unnecessary work on my teeth. Very happy with my visit. The receptionist was fine, although she could be a bit more personable!

Just had a hygienist visit and was really impressed - first visit back in a while due to Covid but was completely at ease and had a really thorough and pleasant experience. Have now booked a full check up with Priti for next week. The Covid procedures were all evident which was great to see. Keep being great guys!

Really lovely staff, the covid protocols are very good here. I am a very nervous patient who has actually had some trauma and could not have asked for more. I was treated with respect and dignity everything was explained to me along the way and they really made sure I understood everything. The dentist was very understanding about the trauma I had received around my teeth and the damage done to them and set a very good care plan in place. Where I had challenges travelling to other practices if needed she work around it and could not have been more flexible or showed more compassion and understanding. Even during these very worrying times I felt very safe and cared for and the quality of care and health care I received was excellent. This was an excellent experience that I expected to be horrific giving my past trauma and issues with my mouth but instead did I found the experience calming and I understand what my pathway is going forwards I could not have asked for a better dentist I feel so lucky to have picked this one.

I had been a patient in this practice for years, since its changed to new dentist, its really disappointing. The staff seem inexperienced and the receptionist has become very abrupt. I would not recommend this one sadly.

I had a root canal here which failed. When I went back I was told there was only 50% success rate. Why wasn't I told that at the beginning? I wasn't informed of this important fact before giving consent. If I had I woul have considered paying for a specialist who I now know have a higher success rate.

Worse dentist I have either experienced today she was rude, spoke to be very abruptly spent 3 seconds looking at my teeth! Then wanted to do a routine x ray on my teeth so they could charge be £100s of pounds unnecessary . When I asked why I Had to have the x ray she said “what’s your problem with xrays “ in a rude tone . I walked out in the end had to pay £22 for my 3 second stare at my teeth and spoken to like a naughty child.

This is worst Dentist I have ever seen!!! I have a small chip in my front tooth & needed a filling, she told me it was a crown & that I needed to come back for a for an appointment where they will give me a full dental plan & will need to take an impression of my teeth. I am nervous patient & esp scared of the mould being taken but a friend said she had been here & they took a mould only of ther front teeth so I asked if that could be done she said no they don't do that here basically threw me out of the room was so rude after giving me a temp filling that made me look like spongebob & I asked her to file it down she refused said it was temp & to leave! Luckily the filling fell out in 30mins I didn't even eat or drink anything it just fell off. I have since been to a private dentist in Hove who have assured me it's a filling that's needed & this dentist was very wrong to have tried to crown it! Avoid this place at all costs! She should be sacked for what she did to me!

I go to Pritti at this practice and she is just wonderful. I had a fear of dentists but after one visit to her I was at ease. She is friendly, caring and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and comfortable. She has seen me through many tooth problems without issue. Wonderful dentist can't recommend highly enough!

I have a fear of dentists & don't go as regularly as I should. First time I went to this dentist, he was very understanding and bared with my nerves, the second time... was AWFUL. This was with a different dentist this time. Telling him I was nervous made him worse. I flinched at one point where I was nervous and he responded with 'don't touch me' at one point I couldn't stretch my mouth wide enough and again he then lectured me and said if I don't do it I will just have to go and pay for money. He had no sympathy for my fear at all, and it's no wonder why people have fear with dentists. I also didn't trust his opinion as what I originally went there for he didn't even comment on therefore going to go to another dentist for a second opinion. Sucha let down as it took me a lot of courage to go and just has made my fear worse.

Every time I go here I have a different dentist. They said I didn't have a cavity - and then 6 months later I lost the tooth. Now I have massive holes (from where I reported them last visit) and I'm just totally avoiding going back. I use to go to the dentist regularly, but this dentist has crushed my spirit.

I rarely post anything negative about a business but this dentist practice was awful, to start off the dentist I saw never explained anything to me about what I needed or why and just said I needed a night gaurd, when I went back for it to be fitted it wasn't explained what was happening and kept shoving things in my mouth with no warning. I am a person with massive anxiety due to trauma. So not being told what was happening or anything really upset me. But I did let this go as when I collected after they tried to cancel my appointment the dentist I saw was lovely to me. I thought after I paid fully it would all be over, nope. A month later I have received a letter from the NHS saying I falsely claimed pension credit and I'm being fined as I don't by law...I am 20 years old who works full time and works in optics so I deal with NHS forms like this all day long. My dentist which explained nothing to me put down I claimed this and said I hadn't paid on the form...I have all my receipts saying I have. Plus when I called the receptionist even said on the their records it's said I had paid in full. Now I have to deal with the NHS to get out of the fine right in time for Christmas when I am super busy. I asked them to send me a full receipt in the post so I can forward it on and a note came with it saying the word sorry. I'm really not impressed. It was a scribbled down note and I'm about to get fined for their mistake and all I get is a little note saying sorry. I paid a lot of money for my night gaurd which make my gums bleed. And I get all this as well . I'm really not impressed and will not be returning their. Neither will my family and I will be passing the message on about how unprofessional they are.

My 9 yr old son had a filling. Half an hour after his appointment he was in pain so I called for advice - they said to come straight back and within minutes he was back in the chair and the problem was resolved. Very caring!

Amazing dentist and very lovely people work there

Had two fillings done here both had problems which I came back for and he was very dismissive and didn’t help. But I’ve changed dentist now and have sorted them both out wouldn’t recogmend!
