The team at Steyning Avenue are highly recommended. Being new to the area, we were seeking a local dentist and I am so glad that we found this surgery. Like many others, I am a slightly nervous patient, however I really feel in safe hands with Sima and Caitlin. My wife sees Colin and she says that he too is an excellent dentist. They have the perfect combination of being highly professional and also extremely approachable and friendly. They explain any issues and any treatment in detail beforehand, offering an exemplary dental service for their patients. I have had root canal and filling treatments there, both solved my issues and were totally pain free. I would happily recommend them to others needing dental check ups and treatments. Thanks guys !

If you have a fear of dentists, this is the place for you. Sima fixed a root canal that my former dentist had bodged and put a correct sized crown on it and I’m now pain free after many years and it looks great. I’ve also had an injection free filling done which was completely painless. Very friendly, caring and professional. Clinic spotless. Just started taking my son now as he has his first teeth. My husband was told by his former dentist that he had to have a tooth removed but I brought him here and that’s been saved too. 100% recommend. We travel from distance to come here and won’t go anywhere else ever again.

My wife and I have been registered at this super caring dental practice for years. Dr Sima Sadr has a way to care and treat nervous patients like us and is a formidable professional whose focus is to deliver the best dental plan for the patients in a feel-like-at-home environment. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. Great attention and service. You know you are in good hands when you learn things about your bone structure that you had no clue about. Always keen eye on details. Undoubtedly the best dental-related experience we’ve ever had as though we’ve been cared for and treated like family.

I haven't been to a dentist for many years and was very nervous but I received amazing service from Steyning avenue. I saw the lady dentist Sima and she put me at ease and explained all about my treatment. When I went back for my treatment Sima and her nurse Caitlin took their time talking me through it as I was nervous and did an amazing job would recommend to anyone. The surgery was very nice clean and welcoming.

Sima Sadr has been my (and my family's) dentist for nearly as long as I can remember, including her time in a previous location. I will happily say that over the years she has become less of a dentist and more of a family friend that just so happens to occasionally stick metal implements in my mouth. The reason that I followed her, and will continue to do so for as long as possible, is that she is an outstanding professional and a genuinely lovely, warm and kind person. Over the years I've had a number of different treatments, including one deeply unpleasant abcess (the sort where a piece of string tied to the tooth and another to a door looks appealing after a while), and I honestly cannot find fault with anything that was done or the way in which I was cared for. When needed, time has always been made to see me and I will never not be grateful for it. Any questions I've asked, and there have been a lot over the years, have been answered patiently and in a way that I've always understood what was needed, why it was needed and how it would be done. I'm sure I've repeated many of them but each time it's been treated as if it was the first, which is appreciated! Overall, I can't speak highly enough of Sima, nor her dental nurse Caitlin (I may have spelt that wrong, apologies!) or indeed anyone at the surgery, and would recommend them to anybody regardless of their level of discomfort around dentists. To that end, Sima is also now my own child's dentist and he's already a huge fan.

For many years I was very afraid to go to the dentist. That was until I met Sima at DentalCare4. I now am ok with visiting the dentist, she has restored my faith in dentist. She is professional, gente and kind, she explains what she is going to do and makes one feel at ease. Thank you Sima. I would recommend you to anyone.

Frustrating - have had two appointments cancelled on the day between lockdowns. Have never received a reminder (even though my wife at the same address has), and today they had the cheek to send in the post a payment reminder for 2021 despite not fulfiling my paid membership for 2020. It has been a difficult year for all businesses but this is ridiculous - no response to calls or emails yet happy to take my money. UPDATE: Received response finally refusing refund despite cancelling appointments (twice) and no response to the answer machine service they've used this year (4 calls). Incredibly rude response from them.

I wish I were consulted my dental issue ten years earlier! I had two missing teeth in the upper front for many years and had a bridge covering two teeth, both sides of the missing ones. Every dentist I tried advised that I consider six implants that cost a painfully over £12K. it happened that Sima saw the missing teeth and briefly explained, do you know at the end of the day the implants are foreign objects to your body and if your bridge worked over all these years why not to replace the bridge? It was a golden idea. Two weeks later she arranged a new, beautiful, comfortable, sophisticated bridge and removed the old one! Gash, I was talked to Sima ten years earlier! A big thanks to Sima and her fantastic team, including Katelin!

My family and I have been patients of Sima Sadr for many years. I was a very nervous patient but with her understanding and great care no longer fear going to the dentist. During the first lockdown I had an abcess and was easily able to obtain a prescription and advice. Once dentists were open I was called in and my tooth was removed, something I thought I would never be able to have done while awake. As a family we have always received great treatment and feel comfortable and welcome when we visit the surgery. I would and have recommended Sima to friends and family.

If I could give no star then I would, the worst dentist I’ve ever visited. Unreliable and extremely unorganised also extremely unprofessional. I wouldn’t trust them to look after my pets teeth let alone my children or myself. Two appointments cancelled one after the other, the second I wasn’t even contacted so arrived there with both children to be sent away.

Being a nervous patient arrived for an emergency extraction. The welcome was very warm and within a few minutes I was lying on the couch petrified, but there was no need the tooth was out and I did not feel a thing. I would highly recommend Ms Sadr and her nurse I thank them for their patience and will definitely be going back for my next check up. The only gripe I do have was the shall we say not do friendly receptionist. Apart from this I give them 5 stars *****

Having broken my front tooth, I was petrified to come in and see the dentist, expecting them to fully remove it! Thankfully Dr. Sadr reassured me that the tooth was rescuable, and managed to rebuild it completely with a crown. The end result was nearly identical to how it was before! Nobody can tell the difference between the crown and my other teeth, and I am so happy I went and put my faith in Dr. Sadr’s skills as a dentist.

Good dentists with friendly staff. Not expensive. Easy to park near by.

Due an appointment mid afternoon, turned up to be told that the dentist was off sick and the receptionist had tried calling me; I'd not been to the dentist in years so was no ones fault but mine. However, my gripe isn't with the wasted 20 mile round trip but more over the general demeanour of the receptionist who in my opinion had a disgusting attitude. She was rude, obnoxious and lacked any empathy. Having spoken to other people who go there, this is a shared opinion. I was quick to point out she was in the wrong profession. I can't comment on the dentist themselves as I definitely would not go back.
