Good for a sandwich at Piccolo's, excellent selection of freshly prepared mixes:Chicken,bacon, avocado,bacon,leek,mayo,pastrami.foccacia,ciabata,escalopes.plus the usual sausage,bacon English stuff.Saw a fancy Lebanese restaurant which looked good but probably pricey.Piccolo:leek,bacon mix sandwich,large scone, Cappuccino:£5.70,eat in.Very popular with cabbies.

Found IRAN RESTUURANT here , what a gem , please try it !!! This little area is full of atmosphere with plenty of bars & restaurants and such a nice surprise to find it just off the main road but feels like another world.

I had some time to kill so wandered around Shepherd Market, lots of small upmarket shops and restaurants, probably expensive but there again it's in an area of London where you would expect that. Certainly worth going for a look if you are in the area with time on your hands.
