Never got acknowledged when entered the store, when asked about a product I was told it's over there, no conversation regarding my project & no interaction on transactions, if I wasn't desperate for the product I would buy elsewhere, would I go back, only if the customer service improved

Great selection of machines and tools for all occasions such as plumbing, carpentry, welding, car maintenance and so on. I visited today to have a look at the selection of wood burning stoves they have in stock. Everything is reasonably priced and the quality of the items is very good. Staff are helpful and there is a thick, free magazine for you to take away so you can look through at your leisure

Feel let down went for a end box for my tool box, they did have one but was not sure if it would fit in my car. I had not seen it because he had to go and see if they had one. I just feel he was not bothered or just don't like me. Sorry I think he could have been more helpful, that's £200of mine they will not get. Will shop at another shop.

After calling to check stock, I drove 10 miles to pick up. Stock was missing, and only display part available. This was damaged and when I pointed it out the staff replied- if you don't want it, don't buy it. Easy.
A previous customer was in there as well, with a return, and he was having a row with the staff as well.
In other words, if you don't like it , clear off. I did and drove the 10 mile back. I will give this place a miss in future. I couldn't offer zero stars.

Disgusted at Machine Mart (derby branch). The way the staff talk to you is unacceptable. Hope they deal with the member of staff (pete). A multi million pound company should be able to provide basic training on how to speak to customers.

I bought a EINHELL GCBC13-4S 4 stroke strimmer/shrub cutter yesterday 10.7.19 from the Derby store. When the strimmer was produced from the storeroom the condition of the box looked as if it was many years old, it was opened and appears that it has been sealed and opened many times before. I queried if the strimmer was new and was assured that it was. When I arrived home and examined the box there was another price ticket with a price somewhat less than what I paid for my machine.
Questions, how old is this machine ?, where has it been for the past three or four years or longer ? is the machine so poor that this is the first time this store has sold this model in that period and why when Machine Mart promote their pricing am I paying over the odds for old stock, when in theory this machine is very old stock and should be reduced. I have not used the strimmer yet due to other commitments and have not established if all the parts are there but was so angry that I needed to voice my disappointment. Will not be purchasing any further products from this store.
