Dr. Chawala and the staff literally saved my mom. She was in such a dire situation that someone at the hospital in Orange County reached out to him and he saw her, and tried some aggressive treatments awaiting adoption of a clinical trial. Her tumors were growing 20% a month and now they are 50% less and she is still going with the treatment but cooking and walking and exercising. When she started there she was on pain meds round the clock. Even the 2 hour commute every other Wednesday is worth it. Thank you all.

I am very impressed with Dr. Chawla and this Clinical Trial Center. My first treatment for Sarcoma was with drugs he tested and got approved in the 1990s. The drugs worked to shrink my cancer. But, the cancer is very aggressive. I'm now in a Clinical Trial with a new drug. So far, it is very effective. I am particularly delighted by the availability of Dr. Chawla and his excellent staff - day and night.

Hi, I’m Florentina and I’m doctor’s Gordon and dr. Chawla patient for 6 months. I came all the way from Europe for the sarcoma soft tissue treatment. Back, in my country, my doctors told me there’s almost no chance for me because of my metastatic situation. They only suggested the standard of care as treatment for my cancer, a therapy I totally refused for 2 reasons: 1. I’m only 25 so I still wanna enjoy quality life 2. I was told the medication would give me around 1-2 years more Here, at Sarcoma Center I feel like there's still a chance for me. I’m already getting a treatment which it’s working and my body it’s in a really good condition despite the medication I’m taking. I had a look through the reviews on the website and there’s a person who says “never come to this doctor “. I do not know the situation but seems like she lost someone.... I can not even understand the pain behind losing someone but it doesn’t mean you have to blame the doctors etc !!! This could be confusing for patients who are just trying to find what would work best for them so if they come to this website and they find these biased persons they could easily get confused like “ and now, what am I supposed to do?) so they can easily waste the chance to be enrolled in a clinical study which might work!

Sarcoma Oncology Center is a world class facility. Dr. Chawla and Staff are unbelievably caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. This is one of the best if not thee best all-around Oncology Centers in America. Dr. Chawla has access to a multitude of treatment options and has access to clinical trials most facilities either can't or won't offer. Someone gave SOC a 1 star with their comment which is disheartening and not fair as their opine is extremely vague. As with ANY treatment especially a clinical trial therapy, you must read and give consent that you've read and fully understand any risk that may be associated in it's entirety. Dr. Sant P. Chawla will leave no rock unturned to ensure the very best treatment options for you. Dr. Chawla is among the top Sarcoma doctors in the world. Many oncologists confer for his opinions and treatment options.

I began getting treated here in October of 2013 for my Sarcoma and I went from being Stage 4b and given a month to live to almost in remission nearly 5 years later.
