GYN dep was the most dehumanizing bureaucratic experience. After several months of treatment I am left in worse condition than the original issue. Yet everything the doctors have to offer is gaslighting, blameshifting and some basic over the counter painkillers.

This is a city beautiful like unique, they have the bike rides everywhere in the city , amazing architecture in the entire city then you have Rembrandt and Van gogh Museum , Heiniken first fattory and alot of things to do and place to visit in day and night.. The people from Amsterdam overall the Dutch people are tall and hadnsome persons that are really nice sense of civility they are sweet to visitors and make you feel nice. Can find food almost for every specially you want easy and can visit the coffe shops where you can choose and smoke any weed you want , but no drinks . To enjoy a nice drink in Amsterdam you can go to one of the numbers Bar in the city where you can Enjoy a fine Dutch beer or a tipical Safary drink or any you want.

This clinic steals people's money, my insurance had paid for it, and yet they ran me through an international debt collection company, I paid again privately. So paid twice, I want my money back, but AMC Clinic in Amsterdam lies and says that insurance has not paid .....

Edited: They have a very good GYNECOLOGY TEAM from nurses to doctors, sympathetic, friendly, they know what they are doing. Helped me alot and saved my life.

My mom lived in the “hematology” dep for nearly 6 months 2017/2018. Definitely not the best for people with cancer and “low immune system” ; unfortunately inexperienced staff specially the nurses and ICU staff. So much has happend infront of our eyes, we could’ve file a lawsuit but it wasn’t gonna bring my mom life back!.

AMC Academic Medical Center is an Academic Hospital and medical faculty in Amsterdam,affiliated with the university of Amsterdam. Went to visit few patient there and walked few other places with friends. It is a great place and is a well equipped hospital.

Our son was treated at this hospital after he had an unfortunate accident with his hand. The operation went smooth, and we were delighted by the highest level of professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. Everyone we spoke to made us feel very welcome, and although we had to constantly switch between languages it was never a problem, and all the formalities were taken care of efficiently. Although a trip to a hospital is almost never something to look forward to, we could not be happier about the experience we had at AMC. Thank you!

Old and big, but well organized hospital. It's possible to make an appointment for vaccinations before traveling at a reasonable price if not included in your health insurance. They also provide a vaccination passport. All other specialist care I've had to deal with was also good; emergency, urology. I also value that they read their reviews and react to them, means they care.

Very disappointed at the care and medical services there. I went in with a serious ankle surgery and did an X-ray. After long waiting times in serious pain, the doctor just announced me that I had no fracture (without showing me the X-rays of course - I found this practice quite strange), wrapped my foot in a simple bandage and told me to start tape therapy 5 days later...
Since the huge bruise that I had was still fresh after a week, I decided to go for a second opinion and turned out that I had an obvious fracture that should have been visible straight away on an X-ray! The doctor I saw in the second place was pretty shocked. Because of this mistake, I lost three (long) weeks of proper treatment and had to have surgery (somewhere else, of course). So yeah, although I’m sure everybody has different experiences I had very poor experience there.

Good equipment and attention if you are lucky enough to get an appointment in a timely manner.
I've been receiving a treatment for a scar in the Dermatology area, it was going pretty well until it became imposible to get a new appointment. I called on January and I'm going to be received (hopefully) on August! 8 MONTHS waiting on pain, all the improvement I was having after a full year of painful sessions of cortisone and laser went backwards.

Hospitals are awful on the whole because they deal with ill people which is sad per definition. AMC was a good experience with in that picture; one deals with humans at reception on all departments, a personal touch in a huge eco system of misery, efficient ( in my case) and all in all, a good experience!

Not a good experience.staff with uncoordinated information and almost impossible to make appointments.Information from reception desk in the fertility department is terrible.Half baked information you always have to call them to know what step and if you are lucky, the person at the desk will give you proper information.NOT HAPPY!!!

Ben zo boos. Had acute klachten, doorverwezen van ene afdeling naar andere. Verwijzing kwijt. Ondertussen ik druk in de weer met medicijnen om de klachten te verminderen. Door de zoekgeraakte verwijzing erg lang gewacht, klachten werden minder, maar diagnose niet gesteld.
Kom vandaag bij specialist, na 2 maanden wachten. Krijg doodleuk te horen dat ik met medicijnen moet stoppen zodat de klachten weer erger worden, dan kunnen ze diagnose stellen.

Gewoon de beste plek om te zijn wanneer dit nodig is. Goede parkeerfaciliteiten, goede zit- en cafetariafaciliteiten voor wie op bezoek is en lang moet blijven. Mijn kleinzoon moest na zijn geboorte een week blijven vanwege complicaties, de zorg was werkelijk op en top. Vriendelijk personeel, toppers zijn het.
