Shires motorcycle training centre is doing good job. It is near by the Beaumont centre and linked with The Lions. On site parking available for visitors and you can access through bus as well and drops you at Beaumont centre just 6-7 mint walking distance.
They have qualified and friendly team members with number of machines from 50cc moped to 600cc. But they have majority of 125cc manual riding machines and during my visit I found only 2 moped bikes, may be they have more but haven't found there at the time.

I'm 25 and decided to do my direct access course for full powered bikes. I had looked around at other companies but decided to go with Shires as their price was competitive and they looked more professional than some of the others in the area.
I had emailed, as I had had zero experience on a motorbike and was a little confused about what course I had to take but Theresa explained everything to me.
Over the whole course of the training I had various instructors, whom were all professional and taught in their own ways, which gave me other ways of looking/doing so I could find what I found best.
Their equipment looked fairly new and well looked after.
I passed all my tests first time and that's with a couple months off the bikes due to Covid, so only shows even more the level of training.
Overall, I was extremely happy with my experience with Shires, and strongly recommend them to anyone wanting to go for their bike license.

My partner booked a CBT renewal prior to lockdown and when government restrictions were in place it was unable to go ahead. Despite multiple attempts we were unable to get through to Shires and so, through no fault of our own, were forced to go with a different training company to remain on the road.
After lockdown ended, Shires made zero attempt to contact my partner to re-book the missed training. When we finally were able to request a refund for the £30 deposit paid, my partner was told it was subject to an outrageous “administration“ fee of £5 - 17% of the original payment!
This “administration” fee is not listed anywhere in the terms & conditions on Shires’ website. It was never mentioned when we made the phone booking and it feels like the agent on the phone made it up on the spot in an attempt to recuperate some of the lost revenue.
This fee feels like extortion. There was no way my partner could have gone on the course or given notice to cancel because it was impossible to get through during lockdown. Now we’re out of pocket because our money was being held ransom due to this bogus fee.
When asked what it was for we were told it was to cover costs from the bank/card merchant provider. No merchant provider I know of charges 16%. My partner asked if we could get a refund in cash instead and would be willing to pick it up so Shires could avoid fees but for some reason that wasn’t an option either.
If you’re going to book with Shires beware of these hidden fees because who knows where else they trip their loyal customers up.

Excellent service from a great hard working team! Teresa in the office working non stop to get tests in during the current covid times. If you listen and do as they say you will pass no issue! Such a laugh from a great bunch of people and invaluble lessons! I can't thank Tom Dan and Chris enough for the lifelong skills they have gave me!

Having gained my full licence with Shires back in March. Today I furthered my training by completing the ERS. This proved to be very rewarding, taking you beyond "test standard" riding. My trainer Ian, was great and made the experience very enjoyable.

I went in nervous and unsure and came out with my certificate and the most confidence iv ever had, top blokes (chris and ian) really friendly and can have a good laugh with you while teaching you professionally making sure you understand everything ! Really enjoyed myself the whole day :) 11/10

Fantastic training experience! The team are very professional and a good laugh making a very enjoyable time learning to ride motorcycles. I went in with zero experience and came out the other side with a full bike Cat A license. I had Dan for my CBT, Tom the boss for my CBT+, Chris for my Mod1, Andy & Ian for my Mod 2 and the last but not least the wondeful Teresa who worked all the magic behind the scenes. Made me feel at ease and welcome, These guys are a great team and if your looking for motorcycle training call them right now if it's not too late past working hours. Highly recommend. 5/5 stars. Large off road area for slow speed control. Most clothing jacket/helmet etc if required and some great tuition. Shires are pretty much spot on.

You have 2 way radios so you can have conversations With the instructor and the other person you ride with, I found this to relax me more and didn’t feel like I was dictated to like other schools.
Due to Covid 19 theirs a bit of a back log to the test date but what I’ve learnt over the weekend I don’t feel worried .
Shires instructors are top notch 10/10 from start to finish. Thanks for a enjoyable weekend.

my instructor was Tom he was brilliant, any questions you had he would give you the answer.
He gave me the confidence even on something i wasn’t as confident in doing.

Today I completed the Enhanced course with Ian & so pleased that I did . I'm not a newbie to riding but Ian has picked up on a couple of things where I can go away and practice them . Little things that I didn't realise I was doing until he pointed them out . Eyes of an eagle that man ????????, spot on .

Brilliant company, went there for my DAS training/tests in August this year after having attempted my A2 licence 4 years or so ago elsewhere and having had a bad experience. I can say the difference is night and day.
They gave me the confidence and skills to pass and I'm glad to say with their help I passed both Mod1 and Mod2 first time!
They have top notch bikes/gear and trainers. We got plenty of training in before the Mod1 test, along with a day spent training at the actual test centre. So when I went for the actual test I knew it in and out and all I had to do was repeat what I'd already done.
Having done the tests on Kawasaki 650's with ABS it made me feel confident I had good equipment beneath me so I could apply all my focus on the ride.
All in all a great place to go to, would recommend to anyone looking to learn or train, or even just for a nice ride.

The team here were brilliant, made me feel comfortable and gradually built up my confidence. I had never rode a bike before I went for the CBT so I was really nervous at first but once they got started they made me feel relaxed on the bike. Very highly recommend.

The best ever riding training center. Dan and Andy made sure it was the best ever experience riding. The guys have the absolute best ever service and they help you so much Shires Motorcycle Training is the best. I would never ever go anywhere else then them if I were you. They have helmets gear gloves great bikes awesome constant advice. You can actually ask questions while you are out on the road with the two way bluetooth headsets. I am absolutely amazed and wish you all to experience this amazing experience with them. Great service guys. Can't thank you enough.

From start to finish the shires couldnt have been more helpful. From talking to ian and booking my das course to my full das training with the 2 Dan's. Both Dan's are very knowledgeable and really put you at ease. They really love what they do and they make it fun and enjoyable!! Which is what you want. Cant thank them enough, they give you all the skills you need to be safe and get through your tests! And you have a laugh doing it ! Passed mod 1 and mod 2 first time. Brilliant. Did my cbt here today. Had an amazing experience, they helped me learn how to ride at my own pace, and when I wasnt getting it the same way as the others Dan pulled me aside and explained the technique in a different way and it just clicked. Extremely patient, made it fun I would 100% recommend, will definitely be back for the next step with my licence. Dan was an excellent instructor!
