I would like to set the record straight regarding the negative review we have received. It amazes me that Google allow customers to publish reviews without finding out the truth . As Mrs slaughter explains her builder purchased a hot water cylinder from us , The builder was given a very competitive price which he gladly excepted , what the builder charged his customer has nothing to do with chelsea plumbing . After the installation the builder contacted us and explained that the cylinder was leaking from 1 of the connections ,I called our suppliers and was told that the customer had to go through the aftersales department of the cylinder manufacturers, i obtained this number and passed it onto the builder. 2 days later we had a visit from the builder saying that the manufacturers had been out to investigate the leaking cylinder on site and had confirmed that the cylinder was indeed faulty and that they had agreed to return and replace the cylinder under the manufacturers warranty free if charge . I'm sorry Mrs slaughter feels aggrieved and decided to leave a negative review . We have to go through the manufacturers warranty procedures with faulty products and this is what we have done . Terrible experience with this company. They sold us a hot water tank at what they claimed was a substantial discount because my builder gave them a lot of business. It turned out to retail at literally half the price elsewhere. The tank then leaked on the first day and turned out to be defective. They then informed us that they were unable to help (even to contact the manufacturer) as they do not provide any after sales service.

Cool guys. I ring them up and if they have my part i go get it. Every time i get my part I all ways say this looks to small !! they always stay professional with the answers even tho I'm not. They also have five permanent bathroom fitters. So if you need a bathroom qouted up always ask them !!!!

Don't buy your fittings and fixtures here they will fob you off, tell you they will get you the right parts then later tell you the parts (which they dubbed a "tap extender" at first) don't even exist and then go on to deliver the wrong (in my case entirely missing bath panel) parts for other fixtures. Go back with questions and they will act like it's silly you are coming back with such bafflingly strange concepts yet still not try to solve the problem. Quite simply a mess. One of those places where they will tell you literally anything to make a sale or just try and get rid of you when you have an issue with their idea of service.

This is the only plumbing shop to go. Extremely helpful and informative

We have used Chelsea Plumbing (Merchants) for what seems like forever and there is good reason. Stuart and Dan are two of the most helpful and knowledgeable couple of guys in there field, also they are extreamly helpfull and put the clients needs before anything with a personal, friendly touch, they have yet to disappoint us in any way - being getting the best deals and also never letting us down with an order (this in itself is a rarity) And so with this in mind we have and would be more than happy to recommend Chelsea Plumbing to anyone looking for a sales service second to none.
