Easy to see the 5 star reviews from other people in the company and their family. The home is bad with not enough staff to meet the needs of the people, high turn over in the higher up staff which suggests poor management as many don’t stay past a few months. Bare minimum care that just hovers above neglect, things appear acceptable on the surface. Staff say no time to get people out of bed. Home has been nicely redecorated.

Very poor communication, apon entering the care home there was used covid swabs left out on the sides!!! The assistant nurse was extremely rude and swore at me aswell as using a raised voice towards me!!! Then refused me the visiting slot booked over the phone, leaving my relative in the home extremely upset!!! Official complaint made. Waiting on responce!!

Social Services arrange for my now deceased 99 year old Mother to be admitted for 3 weeks respite care at above Home while I was away. Poor communication on Mother's condition, poor organization by management, and questionable nursing care led me to have no confidence in this BUPA Home. The day after her discharge it was discovered she had a fractured femur. This was investigated by Social Services but no conclusion was reached to how she sustained injury. I strongly suspect it occurred in the above Home, but it cannot be proved. This happen in 2010, I do hope this Home has improved since for the shake of residents.

My terminally ill father was just left alone. Given cold food etc. No smiling friendly face or cheery hello. He lasted 5 days before sadly passing away. End of life care?
