Terrible quality food, ingredients aren’t fresh, portion are terrible, tastes average and rude/unprofessional floor staff. One star for the venue (great dance floor) and the manager, who actually took care of problems in a polite and professional manner when it was brought to his attention.

Booked a table last Friday for my boyfriends birthday, upon arrival our booking wasn’t on the list but one of the floor staff members resolved this freeing up a booth which could fit our party of 7. Had to walk up to the cash register to get the attention of the waitress so we could order some food and drinks, she did come to take out order straight away. We ordered tapas style nibbles and some drinks which did take a while to get cooked but they were very tasty (apart from the nachos which was slightly burnt). We decided to order a second round of drinks at the bar, be warned during peak hours it does take a while to get served but the drinks were really nice, I would definitely recommend the watermelon samba and the piña colada ????????Music was really good and overall it was a good vibe???????? *Update: Went again tonight, and it was fairly busy but we still managed to get our table with no problem. Waiting staff were really helpful and service was speedy. The FOH staff (Particularly Chris and Naomi) were amazing and helped a lot get my group booking settled in. Music was really good tonight and wasn’t overly busy so plenty of space to dance with your partner. Highly recommend for a fun night out full of dancing and good vibes ????????

Located alongside the river Thames, 2 minutes walk from Temple Station (just round the corner). I went there on a Friday evening. The place is a very large hall, spacious with large tables in the centre and a stage at the far end. A free 45 min salsa lesson is offered where people dance in front of this stage before it’s freestyle dancing for the rest of the night. The music though mostly of Latin vibe was a bit more varied after the salsa lesson and you can just dance to your normal rhythm without knowing any salsa. The food menu is tapas and prices ranges from £3 (fries) to about £20 (large sharing platter), the cocktails are about £8.45 and half price during happy hour (before 8). There is a high raised area along the side providing somewhat more cozy booth and slightly more private atmosphere but they are for large groups mostly (I would say 6 minimum) and there is a private room complete with door for your own private party. Overall the interior decor seems to have a Brazilian-beach-bar feel. I would recommend this as a chill out place with friends but if you are a good latin dancer this could be a good place to practice your moves.

Fantastic place to have fun night and dance your shoes off! It is pricey to book a table especially for group of people- we decided to just walk in early (6pm) and ended up having fantastic night (definitely wouldn't book a table there). The salsa class was a bit late but who cares when you are having a good time? Once we started- no one was able to stop. Not sure about the service style-how do waiters keep up with orders from people standing around them as you are not able to order at the bar? Bar also pretty packed and generally seems like there is not enough staff and organisation so be prepared to WAIT (waited for our churros for over an hour and only got it after chasing it up). Overall it was our first time and everyone (from group of 12 people) would come back again! In fact some have decided to start salsa classes ;) Great place (with room for improvement).

Thursday nights is latin salsa. Great for people also keen on bachata, merengue and reggaeton. The place is really nice and the toilets clean! Drinks are pricey though.

Lovely Salsa place. As a salsa lover, I can say this with confidence. Located in Central London just few steps away from Temple Station. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Happy hour is from 5-8pm and 50% off drinks. Classes are being offered (salsa, bachata, kizomba, meringue) and the instructors are good. If you are coming from work, there is food being served too at affordable prices. I absolutely enjoyed dancing here, you don't have to have a specific salsa partner, u can dance with anyone either u ask them or dey ask u (non-gender specific). Classes start 7:30pm while Social Dancing starts at 9:30pm and goes on till about 3am. You wanna go chill out after a hard day at work or on a weekend, you won't go wrong by try this place.

Very disappointed. 3 hours before we were supposed to sit down to eat, I was emailed to say that my booking had been cancelled- Luckily I checked my e-mail as I was not even called. We were offered a free salsa class (didn't really want it) and 2 free drinks with a drinks table. Some of us had already made our way there so we had to skip dinner to make it in time for the salsa class due to the abrupt cancellation. When we showed up, it was like we were the biggest inconvenience (I was told upon arrival to speak to Shaun, but it was made very clear that there was a private party going on and he was busy). We stood around waiting for our table to be ready, even though we were a little early, we had to put our coats etc on the table so we could go to the salsa class, but we had to wait for people to move, even though they had finished their drinks. We then rushed to the salsa class, which was in the middle of the busy dance floor, limited space and even though the instructor herself was good, she was constantly trying to shout over the noise of the whole hall- luckily we didn't pay for this but would have been very disappointed with this if we did. We were given our vouchers for our free drinks and each time the bar staff had no idea what they were and caused some of the staff to be quite rude to us (one member of staff had no idea and so she sent us to the other end of the bar as she didn't know what these vouchers were and didn't want to deal with us). After the drama of getting the drinks, we were given free nachos, quite different to the meal that we booked. As the night went on, there was an empty seating area where people who had booked for the meal should be sat. This was quickly put away but there was space where we could of had our meal. The public were good to watch but overall terrible service. Would not reccomend to book for an occasion.

Go dancing here most Wednesday but they have dancing every night, it’s a vibrant fun safe place, they do fantastic cocktails as well. I know they do food but I’ve never actually eaten there. Staff are always nice, place is always to a clean, you don’t need to be a dancer to go here, can be a great night out

The staff are rude and ignore you, they serve double shots without asking so that they can get more money out of you, they 'forget' to put all the alcoholic ingredients in the cocktails (presumably to save money), and the salsa classes start 30-60 minutes late. The whole place feels tacky and gimmicky.

Came to celebrate my friends birthday 3 years after a pretty terrible experience at the Soho branch and now again here at Temple. We can appreciate that staff are incredibly busy and perhaps overworked, but we are paying for a service at the end of the day and to be quarrelled with when we refuse to pay the service charge due to: incomplete food orders, long waiting periods to order drinks, and then waiting up to 30 minutes just to pay so we can continue with our evening was ridiculous. And to top it off staff wasn't even remotely apologetic.

I have never been so insulted. 'Manager' Christine was aggressive and lacks customer service skills. Paid £130 for a meal and a table for two hours which we were refused, with a dishonest explanation and no compensation. Absolutely shocking! In response to your reply to my review...I wouldn't come back if you paid me to! There are countless venues in London who aren't running this kind of scam and appreciate their customers !!

If I could give this place a negative star I would. Never have I been treated so rudely, my friend did not have her ID, Who is 37, We told the staff that we were going back to our hotel to get the ID and come back and they made us wait outside in the rain while nobody was even at the door. We were so excited to come to this place and dance salsa, what a major disappointment.

The venue itself is located very close to Temple station, which is convenient. I went to a couple of salsa lessons - they weren't amazing mainly due to the volume of classes occurring simultaneously and the floor was a bit crowded. Tapas were pretty good though! The staff had a mix of personalities and some were friendlier than others.

Four of us went here early in the evening, during mid week. (One couple younger, one couple older. - Repeat visit for younger couple, first visit for older couple.) Entry to the venue was straight forward, with the usual security arrangements applying. We had cocktails during the happy hour 2 for 1 pricing period and just in time for salsa dance steps moves from a very spirited on stage instructor to get the party mood started. About a third of the venue was reserved for dancing and including an area of raised seating beside the dance floor.- The dancing area was extended later in the evening by moving some of the tables an chairs. Possibly an advantage to come early and to know a few Salsa moves beforehand or learn on the night. Plenty of dancers just had the 'music in them' so who cared.. Became crowded later in the evening with entry more controlled. Fantastic fun mood prevailing all night.. But (probably) best not to overdo the cocktail intake. Fantastic, fun dancing, cocktails, food night..

Just had a private booking for our meeting at Salsa Temple. I have to say, probably the best food I’ve ever had for a private booking! Especially the deserts! Lovely venue, absolutely spotless and staff with positive attitude!

My first time doing Salsa and I loved it! The food was tasty but I found the portions slightly small but the reason why I came was not for the food! The dancing, the atmosphere and the people were great. I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling as I tripped over my feet learning to salsa. There was an excellent instructor and I fully enjoyed my night. I’ll definitely visit again

Paid £9 for a cocktail with no alcohol. Just strawberry flavoured soda. I told the bar tender and he didn’t do anything about it, he was very hostile and didn’t seem to give a care. I drank half of it so I can understand that he didn’t want to sort out the situation. But it really annoyed me. I was thirsty as hell so continued drink my soda water. Service here is usually good. Not tonight.

This place is a joke. We came here to dance salsa as they advertise Cuban Sunday’s. After 20 minutes we still had not heard any salsa music at all and decided to leave. A total waste of time and money. Call it bar Zumba instead.

Well, from door man's that don't have the slightest respect for any body, to bartenders that charge you double time, to managers that don't care about your complaint (you still owe me 6,15£ for an extra charge, that you said it would be refunded, never seen it), to one of the worst costumer services ever, this place is bad in so many ways, that I can't even describe!!

Went for a work party and highly recommend. Food was good, drinks included as part of the package and we were well looked after. Salsa class was fun later on but only criticism is that there was not much music playing in between....Lively atmosphere though and a good mix of people.

Went out for a 60th birthday party. My friend, whose birthday it was (60th!), booked a table at considerable expense to celebrate the occasion only to be told that she could not enter the bar as she did not have photographic id, on the basis that they could ‘lose their licence’. The notion that a bar could loose its license for letting a 60 year old in without ID is laughable and really soured what had otherwise been a wonderful evening. Please employ a manager with a modicum of common sense.

The atmosphere was fun, food and drinks cheap. Our main waitress was absolutely a sweetheart and provided great service. That is where the good ends. The other waitress was careless, flippant and dropped sauce on my boss's coat and didn't bother to offer an apology or wipes to clean it up. The food was burnt or cold or bland or in one case, gave me colleague food poisoning to keep him down for 4 days. Do not order from the Mains, stick to the Tapas. Would I go back? Yes, for drinks and dancing. Not for the food or service.

Great lessons, food and cocktails. All very reasonably priced. We usually reserve a table and get something to eat before the lessons and then dance the night away. Tend to leave around 11pm as that's when the mix of men can become a bit more creepy / drunk rather than people who are there to dance.

I love this place but the cloakroom really needs some sorting out during busy hours. 20mins to get our coats is not ok. That poor guy needs help. At least 2 people should work in there, between 11pm-12 maybe even 3. The staff could be more careful when moving chairs and tables as well. Apart from that everything is great. Music, people, drinks, toilets are all good. Dined here once, wasn't that impressed but it was ok. Free water is very much appreciated, should be the norm in all clubs.

I did birthday drinks here. The overweight female manager needs to learn some manners and some customer service skills. She was unfriendly, cold and extremely inhospitable. Better to take your custom to somewhere where you will be given respect. If the fat female manager is reading this, please get another job where you don't have to liaise with members of the public because you are rude and ill-mannered.

We just had a nice night... We decide to go to this club bc a friend say to us that was very nice. Well we don’t know how was the club..now I’ll explain u why: So I was going inside and a guy stop me telling me that I needed to show my Id... Sure,I was taking my Id and telling to my friend that they needed to take that... 24,28,30 and 35 years old... everyone with Id except the 35 years old... talking with the young guy in the front he was really polite to me and telling me nicely that everyone need to have an id and ok that’s nice. We try to explain the situation and asking the favour to let us inside for 40 min just to have one drink, dance a bit and leave. No way the old guy in front with the gold (or whatever) teeth make me a question and I reply politely..: then he told me that after 10:30 pm we have to show an id... Really? I mean it’s okey but so if a 16/17 years old come before that time they don’t need id?? That was hilarious and then apart this... the same guy was trying even to take the piss telling me how to do my job!!? Seriously?! That’s was so hilarious I don’t wanna comeback anymore in this place and I don’t wanna spend even 0.20£ for it.:: The sad thing is that I ask for a manager and nobody came...well. Now say to the bodyguard to tell me again bye bye.

They confused my order the whole night, we had reservation for 10+ and they give us a small table, they didn't do any table service, I had to wait for food 3h, and at end they send me the wrong food. Also on the date I tried calling and they didn't pick us the phone at all we tried many times... But no answer... Very disappointed because it was my husbands birthday and they didn't solve our problems they created more... Almost ruined our night.

I visited this place in the summer and was VERY disappointed. I am a very experienced salsa dancer and love places by the water, so I really wanted to like the place. Its location is just by the river and views are lovely. Sadly, my experience was horrible. I was given drinks in a cup stained with lipstick. Coctails were terrible, The adverts for that day were promising two different rooms, yet the second room was locked. We were forbidden from dancing whilst holding our drinks, which meant we'd have to either leave our drinks unattended (not recommended for a woman) or drink our beers down and get ill. Interestingly, the floor was still filthy and full of rubbish despite people not being allowed drinks. Another thing I'd like to point out, is that I am SHOCKED by the SEXISM in the staff's attitude. A comment below by some Mati _Mistrz describes the place by referring to the ''hot female staff and plenty hot latinas around.'' The person that responded on behalf of the club thanked the person, allowing them to objectify the women who attend as well as those who work there. Women are not objects nor accessories in a club, so when you comment on a club, comments such as ''hot women'' are disgusting. It looks like they haven't read the Equality Act 2010 before hiring women.

Do not go to this place. The bouncers are very rude for no apparent reason - in particular one with a bandana was extremely aggressive and overtly prejudiced. There are other great latin places in London. This is one to definitely avoid.

Bar Salsa Temple supposed to be a nightclub to enjoy and dance, but what I experimented last night was disrespectful and unprofessional from their security staff. Its security staff harassed me. Being there a situation happened with a woman who lost her phone. The bouncers (three guys) called me and took me to a separate room as being suspicious of taking her phone, because she said that I was dancing with her before she lost her phone... Keep in mind that this is a "salsa club" where everyone dances with everybody. That is, in fact, part of the environment. When the bouncers were taking me to a separate room, one of them took me from the elbow and pushing me, even when I was collaborating with them. Reason why I complained and they (3 guys) started being aggressive and intimidating to me. They checked my pockets and frisked me. Not happy with that they asked me to pull my trousers down to check if I had her phone on me... I complained about it since I believe this is not legal, but being under pressure and intimidated I didn't have choice and I had to do it. They were asking me about where I was from and if I had drugs with me. Right after being harassed they took my mobile phone and wallet. Since they didn't like my complains about their procedures they kept my wallet and mobile phone with them and force me out from the nightclub. They gave me my belongings when I left the club and never apologized for the misunderstanding. I tried to spoke with one of the bouncers (Jamaican background) outside but he didn't want to talk and just told me that he was not gonna apologies because I complained about his colleague (white guy, Polish, I believe) when he touched me and pushed my elbow (he did it unnecessarily several times). This happened between 2:30am and 2:50am on the 04/08/19
