Great hospital! I had a great stay and I felt very well looked after. The rooms are clean, very comfortable and the food was delicious. Miatta (Mia) my nurse and all the stuff were really professional, kind and friendly. I would like to thank everyone for taking care of me. ???? All the best to you all!

I had a sleep study. Given I'm an insomniac the lighting and noise was laughable. Guantanamo Bay is more hospitable. Everything in the room had lights on it. The sleep study equipment was fitted for an hour between 9:30pm - 10:30pm at which point I'd past feeling tired. The lift beeps loudly every time it reaches the floor throughout the night. I gave up trying to sleep by 3am and left. I have raised this with them but have been totally ignored.

Great facilities, friendly staff couldn’t ask for more from an institution, extremely helpful and engaging throughout the process. Had a day surgery here and the quality of treatment surpassed any that I am used to, overall great place supported by great people.

Check-in was a bit chaotic with a faulty printer and faulty door entry system conspiring to hold us up. There were quite a few people crammed in the small reception area. After that, it was good, though - the nurses and other support staff were friendly and efficient. The fabric of the building ids generally good once you get past reception, well equipped and clean. I was here because the consultant I wanted was able to do the procedure here without too much of a wait. You do have the issue of getting yourself here and home again which is complicated by Covid restrictions although it’s a 10 mins walk from several tube stations. Overall, though, no complaints and there are some outstanding health professionals here.

Great surgery and facilities however they have charged my card with several things without running the bill by me first. Charging me for médecine that I did not take. I have been asking for a refund for over a month but this still hasn’t been addressed by the accounts team who do not pick up the phone. Outrageous.

I was recently admitted to the Weymouth Clinic, for an elective overnight stay. I chose the Weymouth as I had heard from close friends that the care and treatment was exceptional. I was not disappointed. Both my surgeon, Mr Waterhouse, and the nursing teams, in theatre and at ward level were brilliant. On my return to the ward following a good 3hr operation, the staff were attentive, caring, courteous and professional. Nothing was too much trouble, and I had frequent visits from the team to ensure I was being properly cared for. All of my needs were met efficiently and with a smile. The food was delicious and the catering staff so helpful. What a wonderful stay, in a well-organised unit. Thank you!

I just had the most amazing stay in this hospital. The beautiful nurses that took care of me in the days and overnight made me feel incredibly safe, specially a Persian lady (forgive me for not remembering her name) she made sure every detail was perfect and that I wasn't uncomfortable at any point) and also the lovely Irish lady the day after. This was the best experience and I couldn't have asked for a better care. Thank you Weymouth Street Hospital.

I can't find the proper words to describe the aftermath of my surgery that took place within Weymouth Street Hospital. My surgeon was Lucian Ion who was paid to " fix and make improvements" but due to his incompetence and botch work my health and breathing has suffered to a large extend. In addition, the surgery that was supposed to fix and improve has brought forth an onset of new issues that are both aesthetic and functional in nature. Dr. Lucian Ion has failed to acknowledge the problem and offer a sensible solution putting into consideration the well being of the patient first and not his self interest. He can care less that his surgery has caused issues and has has a significant impact my health and wellbeing. I guess getting paid was the most important part and now that I have major issues in regards to functionality and appearance of surgical site he does not want to take accountability and has neglected me as a patient . I have notified the responsible parties in charge of Weymouth Street Hospital and Pheonix Hospital group but they have failed to give proper attention to issues raised.

I had a surgery with Dr William Townley yesterday in the hospital. My surgeon is perfect which I have already known for a long time throughout the consultation. The hospital definitely exceeds my expectation. They have taken extra caution to make sure the hospital is coronavirus free. Room is nice and clean, with my own big ensuite toilet. Every nurse is so caring and passionate about their job. It is clear they love what they do. I stayed in another famous private hospital few years ago, despite being charged more, it was so difficult to find nurses when I needed. I had to wait 2 hours to get a painkiller. However, in Weymouth, I was deeply touched by their professionalism. The nurse held my hand when I was nervous and before being locked out under general anesthesia. Also my anesthetist is the best! I always had strong reaction to general but this time, I was completely fine after waking up. I was in pain after waking up which was normal, and they immediately gave me injections to relive it. Few hours after, I was totally pain free and even worked from home from the second day. Hot food has brought to my room shortly after the surgery, upon my request and included in the fees. Whenever I pressed the button for needing anything, nurses always appeared within a minute, smiled to me and put me in ease. I think it is the most important thing as we can only have surgeries on our own in hospital at the moment due to the virus. The excellent care can definitely help to reduce stress and make you feel better when you have to go through the surgery without any families or friends on side. I will choose the hospital and Dr Townley again without any hesitation when needed. Thx again for the great care!

I had neck surgery Saturday 27/7/19 at 12.30pm in London carried out by Mr Martin Knight of the spinal foundation for a herniated disc between c6-c7 , normally this operation would leave a good 2 inch scar and also would have left me with a partial fusion of my neck ! Thanks to the techniques used by mr Knight that apparently aren’t possible in the neck (cervical) area (was told this by a supposed leading surgeon) I have avoided fusion, massive scaring and was on my way home 28/7/19 at 10am although I felt I could have left an hour after the operation !! back in work on Monday when the standard procedure for this type of injury would have left me off work for weeks, I have had no pain killers since leaving hospital either !! Please please please anyone with neck problems do not accept fusion or disc replacement as the only option , he’s removed the compression and saved my disc !! The staff were so accommodating and friendly and the food was amazing. Mr Theo Luck director of quality and clinical development absolutely pulled out all the stops to make this operation possible as did Mr Knight , cannot recommend this hospital team enough they really are second to none

Do not stay at this hospital. Their service is worse than the NHS. I first had an overnight sleep diagnostic. I was escorted in, barely greeted, brought in at 8pm to a floor where there were no nurses and no other patients. Apparently only 3 overnight patients in the floor below. No intro to the room or the hospital (so not told wifi), no answer to room service. Only option was the call button. The bed was horrifically uncomfortable. I was never told when I had to leave the hospital, so when asked I answered vaguely - I had a late morning meeting later in London so just thought I would wait there, have a shower etc. Obviously that wasn't the right answer because the "manager" came to the room, nearly walked in without knocking as I shouted coming out of the shower and COMMANDED me to leave immediately. No further contact as I left the building. Then when my follow up procedure was scheduled, I paid them their full fee one week before the op. Subsequently my surgeon cancelled the operation within the 48hour window, and was told I would get my money back in 5-10 working days ...I have been chasing by phone but will not be put through to accounts. I definitely do not want to be operated on or even recover in this hospital.

I am very happy to share my recent positive experience at The Weymouth Street Hospital. No surgery is pleasant, however with the staff that greeted me, nursed and fed me; it made my stay much better than I could have hoped for. From the minute I arrived to the time I left the following day, I was comforted and made to feel very special with the staff's undivided attention. I believe I had the top treatment from nursing staff, anaesthetist and surgeon and the team behind each of these. I was pleasantly surprised of the food choice and can say I thoroughly enjoyed what I was able to eat post-op. I have no hesitation in recommending this hospital 5*.

Do not have any surgery here. I had the worst experience ever! I had a surgery here and supposedly the food is inclusive and I paid for an overnight nurse to be assigned to me. I and my caretaker placed food orders but the person taking the orders wrote them for the sake of writing them. They did not bring half of our orders. My nurse had fallen asleep and my poor caretaker was the one taking care of my needs. They charged 200 pounds for an inflatable mattress that was so uncomfortable that you could not sleep on. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly and there seemed to be a plumbing issue because there was a strong odor in the bathroom. My surgeon Lucian ion who was supposed to perform my surgery had another doctor without my knowledge. How could this hospital allow this? The anasteologist put me to sleep in an isolated room with another person so I would not be able to see the second doctor that was not mentioned to. How a hospital such as this could allow a practice like this? I am left with a botched and dented nose after undergoing a Revision Rhinoplasty procedure at this hospital. They filled my medication orders and charged me excessive amount instead of giving me the prescription so I could feel the medication elsewhere that is more affordable. They should give patients options instead of having the medication filled at the hospital and charging excessive amounts. If you are going to have a surgery here please be mindful of these things. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.

I had a day visit at this hospital to see my pain doctor and get several steroid injections and trigger point injections under sedation. When I came in they told me my card had declined to pay for the treatment and I couldn't get the treatment until I paid. I panicked, my called my credit card company and waited an extra 45 min to find out she typed in the wrong security code. I was then taken up by a nursing assistant to a very nice room on the 2nd floor and only after I took out all my stuff and got changed did they tell me I wasn't on the right room or floor. As I was waiting to speak to my doctor, someone came in to take my food order. although I got in at 12:30pm and had not been allowed to eat from 6am on, I was not actually seen in the theatre until 3:30pm. The lady told me since I was only a day patient, I could only get a sandwich or salad after the appointment. Although I wouldn't be out and finished with the procedure until 5:30pm, they refused to serve me a dinner. My hospital fee alone was £1200. Surely they could've thrown in some pasta since I was starving. Procedure went fine and staff were friendly but I very familiar with this procedure. Short of sedation, I get it monthly at my doctor's office. When I wanted to be discharged, my nurse disappeared for 45 min. Just as I was about to take out my own IV, another nurse showed up to take it and give me a bunch of papers that were entirely unrelated to my procedure. I love my pain doctor and that is singlehandedly the *only* reason I would come back here. I have a chronic genetic disorder and have been to a lot of different private hospitals in London--this one rings lowest on the list by a landslide. The entire day was an absolute nightmare.
