I have been visiting Syon clinic for years, the staff have always been very kind and helpful. I underwent a CT scan this week and I was worried a bit due to the nature of the procedure. Florenza (CT specialist) really helped me through the process and made me comfortable. The scan went well and my thanks to Florenza for making it a good experience.

I have had to take my mum to this clinic a few times and I’ve been very disappointed with how abrupt and rude a couple of their receptionists are. Considering that this clinic is private and that you have to pay a fortune for treatments and visits you would at least hope to be welcomed at the door. First of all they have a bunch of COVID forms lying around at the entrance with no signs or instructions that you have to fill them in every time and a bunch of pen that everyone touches( unless you go to the reception and explicitly ask for a clean pen ) and if you miss the form there is the first cause of public humiliation by the receptionist who will start shouting at you . Secondly they never seem to have any of the emails and the forms doctors send to them, they’d just say take a sit and they ages to look for things , they don’t bother to tell you what they are doing but you can hear the background chatter & if you ask they are are horribly rude. Thirdly there’s never any available parking there & trying to explain to the receptionist they don’t have any compassion or anything . I now have taken my mum to the BMzi celrmbtine hospital in Harrow and she’s really happy . Staff are helpful and polite . We will never set foot in sypn again . You need to train your receptions staff on customer service and hold them accountable !

Very good radiology department, especially a big thank you to radiologist Liz & Nav who were very professional and caring. They both were very passionate about their work and incredibly attentive. The radiology nurse was very friendly too. Amazing team, polite personal service. From the helpful reception staff to everyone else here provided an excellent service. Highly recommend BMI Syon clinic.

The pre-op visit with my radiologist, Florenza, and the subsequent carrying out of the procedure was all done with clarity and concern for my comfort and well-being and understanding of what and how things were going to happen. On the day of the CT scan, I was made to feel as comfortable as possible by Florenza who had a very pleasant and caring manner and who carried out the process efficiently and professionally.

Absolutely appalling treatment from Imaging department, we have had three unsuccessful appointments for my babies x-ray, first appointment couldn't happen as there was no nurse, 2nd appointment cancelled as the machine broke down and TODAY 17.04.2021 my husband drove the hour to get to our appointment to THEN be turn away as there is no nurse to help with the x-ray!!! I'm totally shocked at the leave of service and wouldn't even give one star! WHY didn't we get a call yesterday or even this morning to rearrange the appointment! My sick baby has been in the car for two hours on a wasted journey!! this is private health care that we are paying for and don't expect this level of service!! Very disappointed.

I visited the Radiology dept. last week for an MRI of my lower back , only to realise to my horror that I have become too claustrophobic to get inside 'the Tunnel' - I just could not get myself to calm down and relax. Ms. Liz, the radiographer and Ms. Alina, the healthcare assistant were constantly by my side, trying to calm me down. I am sure if we had some more time, I would have been able to finish it. Both of them were very patient with me and helped me relax and then suggested alternatives like an Open MRI etc. I want to thank and commend them (pls make sure this reaches them :) ) and the wider 'Frontline' community for everything they are doing in these times. #realheroes!!

Dr Seng was extremely thorough with my routine health assessment, with no minor ache and pain too much trouble. Though I've been having BMI healthscreens for over twenty years, Dr Seng recommended I attend a little for often, as it's so useful to measure trends.

5*for Dr. Melanie Don (RMO). I arrived at the clinic after being diagnosed with severe cardiac angina. Dr. Don was very thorough, focused, caring and knowledgeable. She asked the right questions, did the right tests. Having seen 6 heavy weight private consultants of different specialties, I can definitely say that Dr. Don's knowledge and problem solving capabilities exceeds all the 6 combined. She has possibly saved me from having a stroke and a serious kidney problem. She phoned me as soon as the results were in and then called few days later to see how I was feeling. The UK needs more of such amazing doctors. Thank you BMI Syon Clinic for recruiting such outstanding and caring doctors. I must also add that the receptionists were very attentive

I decided to go private for a lung x ray as it was a matter of urgency. They promised to send the images to my gp within 48 hours and they never did. I went to find out what happened and got a feeble excuse about under staffing during covid. After that they still did not send the results and have not since. This level of service is unacceptable when dealing with matters of health.

Been coming here for a while now. Doctors are generally fantastic with their service. Professor Kooner is someone highly recommended by me and also Ivy who is one of the best reception staff from my experience. She not only goes the extra mile when things go wrong with paperwork but has one of most positive attitude and hardworking personality that shines and makes Syon stand out. The blood test man not sure what his name is, has always been great as well. Keep doing what you are doing ????

I had a CT colonoscopy today. Everyone in the radiology / imaging department was friendly and extremely professional - from the Imaging reception through to the technicians and the assistants. I was anxious about the procedure but it was done so well and in such a friendly manner that it was a completely manageable experience. Thank you!

A 5 star, first class service from Dr Roberts, Dr Solomon, and all the other walk in doctors, and doctors from the GP service. I often use this clinic as I can access a doctor almost immediately. If you ring the clinic beforehand, they will tell you how long the wait is to see a walk in doctor. Parking spaces and an outdoor lift for disabled people, make this clinic accessible to everyone. The doctors give you plenty of time to explain your symptoms, and can order x rays and blood test, which can normally be done on the same day. If I had not used this clinic 5 years ago, where my cancer was discovered, it is doubtful I would still be alive and kicking today. The walk in doctor can also refer you on to a consultant if necessary. The receptionist are charming, the doctors kind and thorough, and the consultant I saw there on Saturday was super efficient. I really cannot speak too highly of this clinic!

My boyfriend came here for his dry eyes. At the first appointment, the doctor was over an hour late because they had forgotten about it (????). He just sat there forever at around 9am, losing time at work. The reception staff was rude too. The doctor prescribed steroid eye drops for a month, but in the follow up said that it had actually made his condition worse. His condition is already quite severe so to hear that was really disappointing. My bf had an awful experience here and definitely would not recommend it. Go elsewhere if you can.

Clean and pleasant interior, efficient and friendly staff and the care and attention I received during my time there has been faultless. Special mention to the Physio, who is not only excellent at what he does but also gave me the support and encouragement when struggling with post op recovery. Thank you to all who work there.

Been with the clinic for past 5 years and have had amazing service from all the doctors and staff until recently as new receptionist staff have come ad honestly even in the NHS you wouldn't tolarate such service and behaviour from the new staff members. Talking out loud about patients and treating it as a chill out lounge, no greeting just blunt and rude first point of contact. Thank God the doctors and older staff are around. Poor hiring process in place, such shame ????

The clinic needs to train the receptionist on how to deal with the way they talk to patients and stop asking the same questions such as who is paying for the treatment when a patient would not be attending a private clinic if they do not have the means to pay.

My mum had a check up here, and a follow up telephone consultation. We weren’t informed of the charges for the follow up tele consultation firstly, but that’s fine happy to pay for it. We didn’t receive any invoice or notification of charges just a straight up threatening letter for debt collection proceedings. How can proceedings be issued if no invoice was served?

Such a great experience with Dr. Lo Monaco to date at the Syon Clinic, on our first meeting he put my mind at rest with his warm and friendly manner. He ensured no stone was left unturned in diagnosing my symptoms and once diagnosed was always there to follow up, see how I was doing and swiftly take the next course of action. At each stage he took the time to carefully answer all of my questions, enabling me to feel completely at ease with the process. An excellent doctor, highly recommended.

Dr Lo Monaco is an extremely knowledgable and meticulous clinician. He has been key to accurately diagnosing mum’s heart condition which in turn has ensured that the correct referrals have been made by the GP for surgical input. His communication has been brilliant as he was able to break down a serious diagnosis in a clear and reassuring way. Also I’m very grateful that Dr Lo Monaco is willing to go the extra mile. If you are looking for a trustworthy Cardiologist, I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Lo Monaco.

Really poor service. Booked an appt for my Father in Law, he waited a long time to see a consultant, was told to come back the next day for an x-ray, didn't have the xray and was told that he had to pay for 2 consultations. Now i have recieved an invoice from a virginmedia account???? Not impressed and had originally booked another consultantation for my Father, but I cancelled.

Every time I’ve come in I have received excellent care from Dr. Jude Gunasekera. He is our GP for my entire family. At each and every visit he takes time to listen and his concern is genuine. Twice he referred me to a specialist and both times those doctors were excellent. The staff at the reception are also professional and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Jude and the staff at BMI Syon Clinic at Great West Rd.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr Lo Monaco for considerably improving my partner’s health, and above all his life expectancies, following a triple bypass and an unsatisfactory post-surgery follow-up experience with his previous consultant in a different hospital. Dr Lo Monaco has extensive medical knowledge and takes the time to clearly explain your options and possible outcomes. He cares about his patients both in his private practice as well as in his NHS one. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I'm giving 1* for parking facilities as Syon clinic's car park is way too small.

From the day that the Syon Clinic opened its doors, I have been a regular patient with a cross-section of the Consultants, Physiotherapists, GP Service, walk in Clinic, imaging Department, etc. My experience is a very positive one with Consultants referring me to others, both within Syon and elsewhere. I trust each Consultant and know that they give of their best. If a Consultant’s Clinic is running late, as some of them do, I always find myself thinking that someone needed them for longer than imagined. I know that Professor Kooner, Cardiologist, will give you the time you need. If you are in a bad way, there and then he will organise everything that will help you to be in a better place. It can be irritating to be delayed but, if we know we are going to get the best treatment we have to learn to wait patiently. Tests that I require often mean I go to different hospitals; give me Syon any time where I am known by my name and feel like one of the Syon family. Dr Jude Gunasekera is a marvellous GP with a wide range of experience. He explains things by drawing or using photos on the screen which really help you to understand the problem and the treatment. He and Dr Tino Solomon work well together. My colleague caught his shin badly on a metal table. Immediately on arrival he was taken through to the clinical rooms and much time was spent by a GP cleaning the wound and trying to put the open area back together. He then returned daily for them to see the wound and change the dressing. As it began to heal, the Space between appointments increased. He couldn’t have had better treatment. The staff from the moment you walk through the door are only too happy to put themselves out for you. Thank you to the Syon Team who do so much for me from the moment I arrive to the moment I leave. I have no complaints whatever.

BMI is an appalling private facility, their nursing staff is absolutely ridiculous at syon clinic in particular the permanent nurse is abrupt, uncivilised, has no patient-focused skills, not sure how she is even in the medical field. She definitely needs to have her employment status thoroughly reviewed. The staffing is poor, often one assistant running between all the floors, the wait times are extensively long, the care received is laughable, there is no basic understanding, concern or courtesy. No one communicates with anyone here and often the consultant and I have been waiting for missing notes or instruments. The patient manager has no abilities to resolve any disputes, he is largely unhelpful, his foreign accent is not comprehendable and I pity his department . The radiology team act like they have no communication with the rest of the hospital and do not communicate with patients either, they see people based on their personal preference in no order and have no manners/interpersonal etiquette. Staff at the main reception never know the answers to simple questions, they all are highly untrained, very dependent and rude. The hospital often adds hidden charges with no upfront advise on how much a procedure is costing. The GP in particular is extremely disrespectful and obnoxiously rude. I will ensure no one I know goes to this organisation for their treatments. I recommend everyone avoids for their own safety as it is highly unprofessional and a complete sham.

Abosulety appalling service, was told I would get MRI details within one day and no one has even bothered to call back, I rang a day later to be given the same disgraceful message that I would have to wait for the GP to have a spare moment to call which never happened, I paid for a service which did not live up to its standards one bit! I would not recommend anyone to use BMI as a private healthcare provider, absolute waste of time and money.

I been going to this clinic for one year now, but always disappointed about one thing they not only once but on multiple occasion tried to get extra money from you, once they tried to charge me twice, i paid invoice but send once more with different bill number but same blood test? still i had to go through a lot of other department to clear the error from their side, they never apologised but obviously it was a way to get more money, the second time i saw the GP and i always pay before i leave the clinic, still i had another letter from them after a week that i had dues and i literally laughed at it because i had an invoice with paid stamp from them on it, and my money gone from bank account and they still keep doing errors intentionally to double charge you if you keep quiet they will take it anyhow .. than next time last week, i registered my car registeration at that reception in their ipad after parking there and still they sent me £100 fine for disability parking inside their premises. Ridiculous, i paid more than 5000 in last year for my health services and test with them and they still hungry and get extra from you, if it wasnt my local i wouldnt go, what can we tell about NHS, if this what this private hospital does,once a mistake but repeated things is intentionally, so i will just tell you dont trust them with your financial information, they will charge for services not even opted for, or charge twice. Always delete your information from them.I been tried to get charged thrice on three different visits, also the GP promise to call but never does after payment this is not what you expect. Horrible service, please be careful and read other reviews as well.
