The Hermes service is an absolute nightmare. Staff always seems to be annoyed when they need to find a parcel. Always extremely rude and unprofessional. One time I was told that I can't collect my parcel, because their system doesn't work. Second time I had to collect 3 parcels, guy serving me was visible annoyed by that fact. After waiting 10 minutes (he was the only one serving at that time) he managed to find only 2 parcels and then he just said they don't have more and returned to serving another customers. He ignored me and my pleas to double-check. It's a nightmare to communicate with them as they barely speak english.

Not Covid secure. Whilst there is a plastic screen on one of the till points, the assistant doesn't wear a mask, nor is their any signage requesting people to wear masks. So hardly any customers do. There is also a one way system that no one follows.

Tried using the Hermes service to send off one parcel with label printed and an Amazon return that needed the label printed in store. The printer was "broken" although reading previous reviews it seems the printer has been "broken" for a very long time and the machine "couldn't read" the label on my other parcel. The cashier was incredibly rude and unhelpful about it too. Seems they don't want to do the whole Hermes service anymore? Either way: save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

They appear in Hermes website as "print label" and "send parcel". First attempt, printer was broken, fair enough, but he was almost annoyed when I arrived and straight away say no, no, no! Second attempt, weeks and weeks after that, printer still broken? nope, they just simply wont do it. Third attempt: months after, now I owe a printer, just need to send my parcel.....NO, they wont do it. They could advise Hermes on this and also put a big sign outside. I queued for long and could see other people with parcels too. They probably don't make money for it so they just decided they don't want to offer the service, fair enough, but advise Hermes and customers. They won't give a f* for this review, but at least I can save some people the effort.

Been to the garage twice now and never going to be going back again first time went to get diesel and the assistant shut the pumps off and went for lunch and today went to get air in my tyres and they don't have any change for the machine it is bad service and the staff are rude so I'm not going to be using it again

Cant comment on the petrol however there is no point coming here for the car wash - went there on many, many different occasions and the cashier always says the car wash is closed. Doesn't help that you have to wait in the queue to find that out

Applegreen (as it is now known) has been many things.
When I first met it, it was a Texaco (the Texaco.)
It has had a Subway™ inside it - not too successful, obviously.
The Car Wash has always been a thing, if sometimes unreliable.
During the riots it had a Co-op inside and it was attacked as was the Co-op in Streatham Vale.
My petrol station was on the front line.
All that time (and it has been a long time) the same guys have been working there.
Okay, that's not really possible, but it's how it seems ...
